This video seemed like a good idea to do a test making videos with almost exclusively cinematic footage like some other channels do. It doesnt really work for me, is a bit too bland. What do you think? Let me know. I dont think videos in the future will use this style, probably gonna use a mix of images and cinematic footage in the future. Although this was a pretty good topic to test this on since it has very little to no relevant images. So yeah, let me know what you think of the more cinematic style. I feel like its too bland to use going forward.
Would agree with this, while the cinematic shots can be good intermixed, it takes away from your style and makes it more generalised like other elder scrolls lore youtubers
I think your old style is better. Also, it is a bit weird seeing just landscapes and urban areas in a topic that is mostly about people and some of them have in-game models. Combined with the fact it is used by other lore youtubers somewhat frequently, it makes it not as ideal as your older style.
Great video! I didn't really care for the cinematic footage, but I didn't hate it. I do like the images more. Maybe use a combination of the two as you mentioned. However, ultimately, I will watch or listen to your videos in any case, because I still love your work after all these years.
When i heart about this city it just Sounds like a modern back water place where Suajili pirates roam, i swear i saw a redguard with a AK in my mind lol
This really sounds like the most moral version of the thieves guild. A group that interferes with drug dealers, brothels, and slavers can't be that bad overall for normal people. Definitely seems nicer than Skyrim's guild which basically amounts to "we want money, and we'll ruin everyone who might limit getting it." A thieves guild by it's nature can't be a fully nice organization, but having one that specifically attacks groups more harmful than itself is a lot closer to being a good group than just a bunch of people looting whatever they can get away with, destroying anyone who might be dangerous regardless of morality and having no real guideline beyond no murdering people and no hitting your own clients. Substitute thievery for assassination, and Skyrim's guild is not too different from the Morag Tong.
Hyper X Quadcast, the only thing I notice personally is that it has way less background noise. But to be fair I used the previous mic for 7 years, I like to think I got quite good at establishing an audio profile which dragged the absolute most I could out of a 30 euro microphone. This is just the default for the new mic, I didnt edit the audio at all (except cutting) so its better out of the box at least in my experience

To quote Tomska: "people's ears are easier to offended than their eyes, so focus on a good microphone first and foremost"
Didn't notice, but I *was* listening on my phone, so it's rather hard to tell; though it's definitely better the mic from your early videos.

Your mike made your voice crisper, less like you are eating mashed potatoes while speaking.
