    The implications of the tree leaving Valenwood would be an interesting plot point.

    I'd love to see a set of videos on the armies of tameriel, going in detail about their significant roles they played in their province, how different or similar tactics were used, and their accomplishments.
    I'd love for the first one to be on high rock or something, seeing as they're a mercenary hub it'd make for understanding they might have used them in military tactics.

      High rock would probably be the most straight forward because of their robust feudal system, really similar to medieval european wars where armies were made of a mix of trained soldiers and knightly orders bound to the service of a king, untrained peasant fighters levied by his lords, and mercenary bands fighting for the highest bidder all together on the field of battle

    this is probably the video idea I've been requesting the most and it seems to be very timely considering the next ESO chapter might indeed have to do with the Bosmer. Thank you so much for making it.

    I haven’t seen anything for the new ESO chapters yet.
    But as for Falinesti, I had started a fanfic years ago where one of the first challenges is to find Falinesti after the hero had been told it had rooted itself on one of the islands of what used to be Yokuda.
    Once there, they find that a powerful Daedra was trying to take the entire city to their Prince… I forget which offhand, but the spirit of Falinesti put up a fight, sealing away all of the inhabitants in amber so they wouldn’t be harmed and kept messing with the daedras portals so they would spend the centuries wandering through the realms of Oblivion until eventually returning to Tamriel on the island. It was during the final stand between the Daedra and spirit that the hero shows up with their allies to fight the Daedra and the army she summoned.

    I hope that the next ES6 is in Summer Set or at least in Valenwood. We haven't had an elf focused game since Morrowind and its the only elf focused game as well.

    I have a very loose theory that falinestii occasionally disappears to the shivering isles; theres a region on the north coast of mania called valenwood(possible oversight), but theres also a very large population of woodelves throughout the isles, and then theres graht oak seeds you can collect from sheogoraths own daedric minions in eso with no explanation. Also the isles already has a lot of cyclical tree motifs going on so its loose but a hopeful future segway into getting a dlc to go back

    I bet Sheogorath had to do something with the city vanishing, considering the Mages Guild questline in ESO. I wonder if there is a video on this channel about the various types of Orc.

    • @mygetawayart
      @mygetawayart ปีที่แล้ว +4

      not Sheogorath, Mephala. Maybe I'm reading into it too much but we know Mephala has something to do with the disappearance of the city and there is a temple to Mephala under the Autumn site in Reaper's March, and guess what they sent to the content creators to preview the announcement? Autumn Leaves.

    I remember when the ESO High Isle chapter was coming out. Everyone was so excited and speculating that we would be getting jousting and sailing, aaaaaand we ended up getting cards. I hope noone is really expecting an amazing moving tree city in the new chapter..... We will most likely be getting a broken spellcrafting system.😂

  • @alexanderstilianov

    "The Falinesti mysteriously vanished around the time ESO takes place and conveniently came back afterwards, again with absolutely no explanation."
    They really resorted to cop-out lore for why all the cool lore from the weirder provinces can't be shown in-game? In the game whose main appeal is exploring -all- most of Tamriel. Remember when the lore-geeks were pissed that the Summerset Isle looked nothing like in the lore? Or the fact that 2 of the 3 alliances make no sense: the Dunmer would NEVER ally with the Nords, their ancestral enemy, nor the Argonians, their ancestral slaves. The Redguards sorta just destroy everyone on the battlefield and the Orcs were always held back from developing and having their own country by the Bretons who, by the way, it took The Miracle of Peace, literal metaphysical and divine intervention to unite into one country.

    • @LostHorizons0
      @LostHorizons0 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The writing in eso is far better than the writing in Skyrim. And high rock is a pretty bland generic location. Eso knocked elsweyr out of the park something the cuckolds at bgs were too scared to touch.

    • @badluck5647

      @@badluck5647the writing in even the base game is very good. Especially with the voice acting. Now some of the side plots were pretty juvenile but overall, writing and dialogue is definitely not one of the problems that plagues ESO
