With over 108,000 square feet of showroom space, there isn't much that you can't find at SMKW. @@Errcyco I went there not long ago. The place is huge. It’s much bigger than it looks outside. Plan on spending at least half the day to really check it out seriously.

Well, I kicked and screamed like a 3 year old when my wife told me, it is time to go!! 😭
I had the pleasure of visiting the store a couple of years ago when I was out camping in Great Smoky Mountains. It was amazing, I was there for hours trying out knives that I can only see in pictures online. I left with a ridiculous amount of knives and a big grin on my face.
It cost me about $1,000 to get out of the store with a big smile on my face! I am going again!
Not to long ago I went to great smoky mountains! (Still here just on the way home) and we got my first knife there!

I hit SMKW at least once, when we vacation in Gatlinberg.
It takes me about three hours to see everything that interests me.
My wife drops me off, and hits 3-4 wineries, and picks me up later in the day.
Sounds like a solid plan!

The relic room just got in a HUGE selection of megalodon and other fossils! We find ourselves walking down there often...for research. Yea research....

Man I stopped by and finally checked out your store when I was in the area a month or so ago. My wife was waiting in the car while my daughter and I checked out the place. I thought I won’t be long. Yeah she was unhappy because I was in there about a hour and got lost about 3 times lol. I didn’t realize how much stuff you had like the historical stuff for sale downstairs. I ended up leaving with nothing because they just didn’t have any of the cooler models of spyderco and Benchmade in stock but I’ll be back and maybe I’ll find something next time.Only thing i didn’t see is any Ontario knives and one other brand I can’t think of right now while i was there.

I visited this store when I went on vacation one year... it was amazing and had everything anyone could think of if you wanted a knife... I spent hours in the store and although I did buy way more stuff than I planned on getting, I was very happy with what I was able to find 👍👍... all the employees were awesome!!... one knife I bought was a Case Canoe with real stag , and I looked through over 50+ of them to find the exact one I liked... Some asshole stole that knife from me one week after I got home... My vehicle was broken into and I had it in the console still in the box never used... I am still so pissed off about that, and mostly because I know I’ll probably never be able to visit the store again in my life, and plus the amount of time and money I invested in such a great product only to have some asshole steal it from me!!!...

what a great shop. But i notice you don't seem to have Chris Reeve knives. I didn't hear you mention them and i search on your website and didn't find them. So you don't have ALL of the sharp and pointy things. But still great shop as a European i`m jealous
As big as the store is we always have room for more quality knives and we will continue to grow the collection as well. Hopefully in the future we will be able to add them as well

@@SMKWcom It's got to be more than thousands of knives. My guestimate would be you are into the tens of thousands and maybe even hundreds of thousands of knives. But dunno. Of course I would think you have more shipped to you every day while others sell every day. So I'm thinking even SMKW could only guess. How many knives typically sell every day?
Depends on how and when you ask. In store only, online, combined, January vs July, event weekends, etc
SMKW.com is open 24hrs a day and with the physical store being located near The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and hundreds of other great tourist attractions we see a lot more foot traffic when they are here.
@@SMKWcom I was just wondering about a guestimate for the number of knives in the physical store shown in this video. If it's a trade secret or something then I don't need to know that bad........ It's just very impressive to me.
Took my son here for his tenth birthday from South Jersey. What was great is that he was able to flick over 100 knives till he settled on a Artisan. You can’t do that anywhere else in the country. I bought a matching larger version and then we got them engraved to commemorate the trip. This is such a cool store and the surrounding area is unbelievably beautiful with tons of stuff to do. Can definitely recommend creating a trip to TN around this store, so worth it!

We came here last year when we were staying in the area and I brought my wife and two children there and was expecting them to want to leave after about an hour, but we ended up staying for three hours because of all of the amazing historical artifacts they have.
This is probably the coolest store I have ever been to in my life!

This is my modern Disney World! My first visit I drove almost 2 hours to be able to visit for just 45 minutes... it was all the time I had. Can't wait to visit again, I'll probably be there all day!

We go to the pigeon forge area around 3 times a year. My wife hates this place. I on the other hand love it. When it’s busy there, it’s hard to remember what you’re actually there to look at. It can be a little overwhelming in a good way. I actually keep a running list of things on my phone so I don’t forget.
Keeping a running list is a great thing as long as you leave room to add more👍

I am looking at droping by on vacation. I am hoping you have some Kreshaw Lucha and Boker Plus balisongs in stock.
We do carry Balisong from several different companies but it has become more popular then ever so we can't guarantee what all will be here when you come in. Safe travels👍
Just recently had to replace my whole kitchen steak knives set 😢! They lasted about 20 years, though, and were bought at Linens and Things ,when they still existed [ 😢LOL 😆 ]. As our local Bed, Bath and Beyond, was scheduled to close, I ventured down to see what i could get. I really prefer Chicago Cutlery and Drop Forge US made ; the price was up around $200.- for a set, which was way more than what I could afford. So, I bought a set of 6 carbon-steel knives for about $25.- Everything seems to be made in China now a days though ! It's still hard to find sharpening stones and an excellent serrated knife shapener - Fuggit about it 😢 😔 😢! Does your store have a website, perhaps 🤔 ? I'd love to see it .

I wonder if anyone else here can say that they visited the store before they moved into the current location. They used to be just a small, elevated show floor in the center of an Antique Mall just a short distance down the street. I think my 1st visit was around '85.
I have a couple hundred knives mostly OLD CASE Knives. Notice I said OLD. Case knives made in the last 15-20 Years are JUNK and I refuse to by one or even take it as a gift.
I really Like Kershaw and the REEVES brand.
