Well I am 68 yrs young and feel like I just watched Santa at his toy store! Every time we drive from Texas to Va we stop for the night at the Hampton across the interstate and visit this wonderful store, eat at the steakhouse across from the hotel, and hit the road early the next day…breaks up a long drive with a knife break and a whiskey!

Dude, im here at the hampton ! This place is amazing! They have the hot tub in the corner of the room and there is a sub shop right next door, couldnt be happier. After check out tomoro we are going right to SMKW , and its hilarious, in the hotel kiosk they have a 5$ coupon and a brochure for smkw ! Thanks again man, im deff making a video about this experience !
Wow, I live in Iceland and collect knifes from Icelandic knife side with about 30 knifes at each time this is HEAVEN I'm 44 right now and my Dream always been to live in the USA and I hope to achieve that before 50 ill be stopping by someday! Thank you for the Content!

I was starting to get worried about the polar bear!!! I have seen him many times over the years!!! TC, you didn't go through the sharpening section. You still need to do a video where you walk through the store and "pocket check" the employees and see what knives they choose to carry when they have access to so many options!!!

Really need to get to the store at some point. Been a catalog shopper with SMKW since the '80s... I just wonder how much of it is handicapped accessable? Looks like some of Museum displays on the upper floors maybe a little hard getting to...

GREAT Tour. Two question after all of that 1)Is that giraffe head for sale over by the Gerber section? 2) Do you need permission to swim in the water feature?
No swimming is allowed, you don't want to know what TC has done in that water. Geoffrey the Giraffe used to work at a different store but is now a valued member of the team so he is not for sale.
I'm a knife collector, I am wheelchair bound. Is there anyway for me to access the knife areas???? I live 6 hrs away and was gonna travel to SMKW to check it out. But there would be no point if I can't see the knives...
