I own 3 Case knives the ones I have are good fit and finish but my Rough Rider knives are the same quality or better for less money. Though my favorite in my collection are Great Eastern cutlery knives just the best in quality that Case will never match.
I’m very new to the knife game (spent most of my time collecting watches) and just received my very first Case knife ( razor, 32005) yesterday. I’m a bit concerned about the QC comments on this video regarding their products, but it is helpful for me as to know what to look for and what can be expected. For what it’s worth though, the Case I received yesterday is absolutely gorgeous and I do intend on placing more orders for the razors while they’re still in rotation.
The seahorse whittler is probably one of my favorite patterns, but for case to make them it’s expensive to produce and make newest seahorse I got is the blue g-10 love them
Handle material is definitely moving forward this year. Would like to see the newer bone dyes on a few other patterns like a Muskrat, Swayback, etc.. The Seahorse Whittler was definitely a missed opportunity for the Sea Dragon handle.
I love the PB&J!!! And I hope Case is getting on top of QC since I have collected over 110 of them and am tired of hearing so many people gripe about them Exciting video guys
At this time the PB&J and Sea Dragons are a 1 and done. If a different pattern may become available in them but no redoing them at this time is planned
All nice. To be honest, my collection has not seen a new Case for the longest time. Last one I purchased was a "Peanut" with mother-of-pearl scales. I don't think Case carry's that anymore? I would like to see more NATURAL handles come back with more offerings. There are so many examples of things such as plentiful trees that, to me, would be sought after like Mesquite. Hard as a rock and can be had in most every state! Plenty of exotics as well could be utilized. Most of my family/friends carry many different knives with "real" scales. They're WAY more fun to carry, (show off, lol.) and ESPECIALY handing them down. My opinion, Case, while being a GREAT company, (The customer service is really something else) is on a wayward path of trying to capture some of the current knife style that others are attempting, again, being honest, they look like any convenience store knives near the candy rack up at the counter. Thanks for the chance to vent! (sorry) ~Best, M.M. (couse I subbed!)
When Tony Bose was working with Case and the quality was getting better all the time I had a lot of hope, it’s really fallen back off. My last few Case have been pretty rough.
Case, stamp the blade tang better. Please, I'd love for it to be nice and deep. Not what yourre sending out lately... Id gladly pay 5 more bucks for quality. Makes all the knives look cheap
I will forever love a Case knife! Don't hate me but some of these like the Sod Buster, Razor with a option of traditional or a pocket clip man I think you would increase sales by 34.7% the first release!😎
I used to love Case knives but the last four knives I have ordered in the last two years have been totally dull and can't cut through paper. All my Marbles, Rough Ryders and Buck knifes (all made in China ones) don't have that issue. Its embarrassing how far Case has fallen in their quality control. I won't reward bad behavior when Case can't even bother to sharpen their knives, which is the main reason for having a pocket knife -- to cut!
I have five Case knives. The last Case I bought was a Cheetah that I paid $35 dollars for in the late 1970's. I actually bought two, but one had cracked scales, and I sold it to a friend who didn't mind. They're just too expensive for the value, unless you're a Case collector, which I am not. Sorry Case. I still love you, though.
We will have to wait and see what all the final lineup is, they won't even tell us! Of course if you want things kept secret you don't tell the media department
I’m Inlove with case knives .. but their quality has been decreasing whilst there prices increase .. they’re starting to be for the collector only rather than a tool for a worker.
I just got into Case knives, I'm not a fan of most of your models. I really only like the Copperlock and the Sodbuster. I do like that Cheetah, if you make that again I will most definitely collect those.
If I am paying 100 bucks for a pocket knife, blade rub, gapping, bad grinds etc. are totally unacceptable. Especially when the qc is better for 20 dollars knives.
Buy Rough Ryder knives instead. They're just Case knives with a sensible price attached. Case knives are just RR knives with a ridiculous price attached. Trust me, your wallet will thank you.
I tune in to these shows to see how a knife fully functions especially knew ones .the people producing the show might want to show the knife and function in it’s entirety Case will be calling them out for the way they introduced the case knife debuts…poor production and executives producer should go back to the editing room.
Thank you for your feedback, I don’t think Case will be calling us out since Maury (the guest on today’s show) is a long time representative of Case. This video was intended to show off the new product lines/handle materials Case is offering for their summer lineup, we have specific videos on the function and details of these individual patterns throughout our channel. Thank you for watching
Case has disappointed me with poor build quality and fit and finish too many times for me to buy another. I’m sticking with Bear & Son for my 🇺🇸 made traditionals
Everything looks good, but what about the fit and finish for me that is the more important (QC)
I own 3 Case knives the ones I have are good fit and finish but my Rough Rider knives are the same quality or better for less money. Though my favorite in my collection are Great Eastern cutlery knives just the best in quality that Case will never match.
@@markjg2275 I agree with you. I have RR knife and the fit and finish are better than case knife
I don't have one centered case knife
@@jimdixon254I trust you
@@markjg2275 Support well paying American Jobs !! Buy Made in the USA not China !!!
That smooth natural bone is beautiful. Ordered the razor this week, and that copperlock is calling out to me! Thanks ya'll!
Something special about those Razors but a Copperlock always speaks to us
More QC please!

Where's the PB&J Seahorse Whittler? I collect that pattern it's my favorite.
That would be sweet!
I agree, bring the seahorse whittler in some of these new handle materials.
The seahorse whittler is probably one of my favorite patterns, but for case to make them it’s expensive to produce and make newest seahorse I got is the blue g-10 love them
Always loves Case knives!
Keep getting better. .love Case

At this time we will not be doing Pre-orders
I’m really excited about the white smooth bone copper lock with the Wharncliffe carbon steel blade, I’m definitely going to get that one. Thanks TC
Thanks for watching!
Handle material is definitely moving forward this year. Would like to see the newer bone dyes on a few other patterns like a Muskrat, Swayback, etc.. The Seahorse Whittler was definitely a missed opportunity for the Sea Dragon handle.
Thanks for watching and for the suggestion! A Sea Dragon Seahorse Whittler would have been beautiful
I'm looking forward to more carbon lines! And I'm with Maury on the sowbelly, fantastic pattern.
Gotta love a good Sowbelly
Awesome job on the video one of my favorite patterns is the cheetah

I need to buy a knife soon.
Which Case knife has Chrome Vadinum blades??
I love the PB&J!!! And I hope Case is getting on top of QC since I have collected over 110 of them and am tired of hearing so many people gripe about them
Exciting video guys
Tobias is a big fan of the large toothpicks more than the small peanut sized toothpick. Like a lot of us. How about some large toothpicks?
Thanks for watching and for the suggestion. Tobias lets us know often and loudly which ones he likes lol
I like the locking Case knives best
Always nice having a lock as extra security
I need a mini copperlock sea dragon!
That would be sweet!
I’ve GOT to have something in PB&J! Will this pattern have a second run??
At this time the PB&J and Sea Dragons are a 1 and done. If a different pattern may become available in them but no redoing them at this time is planned
I love the carbon and bone
💯

I love the look of the PB&J’s! Any chance in the coming vault releases that a Jr Scout might come back. My favorite Case has ever made 🤞
We will have to wait and see what the full line up is going to be, they won't even tell TC!
Kirinite is exciting..damn now I have to get it in 4 or 5 Case patterns I collect
I would like a longhouse with pb&j scales.
That would be super sweet! Thanks for the suggestion 👍
May have to get the pb&j sowbelly
Gotta love a good SowBelly
TC being able to work with what you love. They say it doesn't even feel like work. 😊
We rarely call what TC does work....lol
@@SMKWcom 😂🤣💀
I need a PB&J Folding hunter!
That would be awesome!
I about want to go to Atlanta just to get me one of those PBJ’s!
Love me some PB&J
When Tony Bose was working with Case and the quality was getting better all the time I had a lot of hope, it’s really fallen back off. My last few Case have been pretty rough.
The TB collections are always some of the best of the year
case is number one.
💯
I cannot wait gentlemen
Same!
Man I hope the PB&J is in CV steel.
I think for now they are all in carbon steel
Would love to see some hawk bills brought back.
Love a good Hawkbill!
Can't wait for the PBJ !!! No Medium Stockman??? May have to settle for the Mini Trapper or the Barlow. Peace, brothers.
Thanks for taking a look Donnie!
You can bring out all kinds of colors, if the fit and finish is lacking, we'll you get the idea, more emphasis on QC.
Well said 👍
Case, stamp the blade tang better. Please, I'd love for it to be nice and deep. Not what yourre sending out lately... Id gladly pay 5 more bucks for quality. Makes all the knives look cheap
They laser etch now😢

New cover colors anyways

Why are you buying knives if cant sharpen them? Even Gec's at twice the price comes dull some times.
Lol. I hate purple. But I appreciate the concept on the PBJ. I'm sure it'll do very well.
There are tons of great knives to go along with the PB&J that have no purple at all in them lol l
Case has 99 problems but their covers ain't one. They always do a great job with bone
Nobody better!
sweet

Petition to bring back the cheetah
PBJ russ lock??????

I was more impressed by the quality of my rough ryder compared to a case I bought. Case way over priced.
Beware of the Knitpicking Knive Nerds on this Post !

Why not talk facts??! That was interesting! Geez! 🙄
Case quality control is a joke.
Why would you collect a knife, that's not in collectible condition? CASE Quality Control Sucks!!! Buy BUCK Knives!!!!
Not an uncommon observation in the comment section, but Case needs to up their Fit & Finish department. 🫣
