12:21 fun fact. i was a cashier at walmart. when we would have to put in a product manually, as shown in the pic, the machine will only allow a certain amount of characters so more often than not we would have to both abbreviate and make sure the inventory people knew which product we meant. i would often struggle trying to find the right combination on letters to put in both brand and description

One time we were trying to buy some BBQ tongs, but the cashier didn't know what they were and they wouldn't scan, so we told her they were tongs, and she tried like 5 times to call them thongs despite our best efforts.

5:45 so for context on this one, it doesn't lock the sender to that one spot, how it's supposed to work is that the square part locks onto the sender's hand and then breaks away from the main box.
This would make it so that if it was a false alarm, you could easily spot the guy who sent it by the large metal bracelet on his wrist.

My favourite part of all of these is that someone somewhere was paid to design/make them.
Also as he points out, in many cases(( particularly the building/structure related ones) must have been checked and approved by at least one "professional" before being given the go ahead.
I don't consider myself particularly skilled person in general, but these give me hope that it simply doesn't matter 😂

The backpack not fitting in the locker is too real. We didn't have that many shelves, only one. But the lockers were so damn thin that we had to unpack our backpacks in their entirety and even after it was empty, I had to essentially fold my backpack in half for it to fit. And then I had to figure out something else to hold the rest of my stuff.
