19:28 Lexi, on behalf of all retail workers that hate this as much as I do, thank you very much for making a difference. It's my biggest pet peeve, especially when they pick it up, literally do not move, and still put it back in the wrong spot.
32:40 as a Costco employee, I can say with confidence that it **IS** a Costco. You're right, we don't colour code our pallets. If you notice, every single product that is on the floor uses a white pallet. However, all other products that are being stored up on the orange shelves still have thier original pallet that they got delivered on. every supplier uses different sized/coloured pallets, and one of the merchandiser's (fancy word for employees who prep products for sale) main jobs, is to re-stack the product onto a clean white pallet. the one about the dog being excited to see owners at shelter but the owners are there to adopt a different dog is not mildly infuriating its absolutely blood boiling
11:02 I think the infuriating part is that they messed it up on purpose by putting the numbers right to left instead of left to right, messing up the art.
5:07 iirc the full story of that post is that, the dog had escaped the backyard, and when the owners went to the shelter to adopt another dog, they didn't realize that their missing dog was at that same shelter. Still sad, but thankfully later on the dog was adopted by someone willing to give him a loving home.
@@noahv1479 assumably, they really had no idea that the dog was there and had since given up the ghost on relocating their missing dog. They didn't know it really was their old dog there, and they had already gone there specifically to adopt another dog, so on the grounds of genuinely not knowing they might not be bad people.
The headphones. The longer one goes arround the back of your neck. This results in the cable not pulling on your ear and not going down the middle of your chest. It looks and feels nicer. Hey just FYI, the whole "putting items back on a shelf where they don't belong" thing is actually against the law in the US... it's considered shoplifting, because it can lead to errors in inventory counts that make the store appear to be missing inventory

i usually go out to stores with my family, and we're always annoyed by seeing the misplaced items (especially because my mom has worked in a lot of retail jobs) but we never have time to put any of them back where they go if I had the time and patience to do it, i'd literally go through the whole store just to return one item back to where it goes, and in my area i'd probably find at least a small cart's worth of OTHER misplaced items to look for, and the only motivating force i'd have is my love for organizing & cleaning things (though, at that point, It would start to look like I'm an employee regardless of if the store has a uniform so maybe i shouldn't do that)

There was a news story some years ago in the UK: during a spell of quite bad weather, three lorries drove abreast, taking up all the lanes of the motorway, and drove at a safe speed to prevent cars overtaking and driving dangerously fast for the road conditions. The traffic was tailed back for miles behind them, and in front of them was a clear open road. The police said later that had they been aware of it, they'd have had to charge the lorry drivers, but I wonder ... they said this *after* the event; surely it went on long enough for it to have been noticed - after all, the newspaper photographer got there while it was still going on. By preventing cars from going at dangerous speeds under the current weather conditions, those drivers may well have saved lives. [] rea car parked over walkway: I saw CCTV footage where a car pulled up late at a red light so that the front was over the pedestrian crossing space forcing everyone to walk round it, but the driver didn't attempt to back his car out of their way. Until a couple of blokes just walked straight ahead, climbed up on to the car walked across the bonnet, and down the other side. Then the driver backed up.
There were also indiscriminate shooting around late 90’s in the northern USA. I heard about truckers boxing in family drivers during that time to protect them. It could be from then too.

People not putting things back where they're supposed to be is exactly why I didn't want to work at Walmart. I was literally afraid that of I did I would spend the whole shift trying to put stuff back instead of stocking shelves.

As someone from Australia, those smart boards and putting all the pens in the wrong area is just beyond relatable

For the spoon that had sand in it, the reason why is that the metal of the spoon was light and weak. To make it seem heavier and otherwise more durable, they fill it with sand to make the spoon seem stronger and heavier. This also leaves a nasty surprise shown at 36:50 if the spoon happens to break open. How do I know this? It happened to me with a (different type of) spoon that I used to make tea.

13:42 I know this may seem infuriating, but it actually is different. For example when dealing with tolerances, 0.1 and 0.10 are two completely different numbers. In every day use they are the same, but in many fields of engineering and science it actually is important. It could also be that the question asked for significant figures, we can't see that though.
Probably not to be honest, teachers not setting multiple answers is a very common thing
