We thought that Suicide Squad are loosers but we're WRONG. They are so good that not only they have killed whole Arkham Universe but they have broken 4th wall and probably killed own developer company.
They have achieved what they were sent out to do this whole time. They have truly become....the suicide squad! And they are about to burn their own Rocksteady right into the ground! Impressive.
That intro leading into the first sin should be shown to gaming company executives every morning for training purposes. Preferably with their eyes held open.
A movie featuring Superman's death and setting up the Justice League where it's the Man of Steel's second appearance and everyone else's first should've been the biggest red flag about Dawn of Justice.
@jlev1028 I actually agree, though. I don't care how self-conscious they felt about it, DCEU should've had the same buildup as the MCU. At the very least, everyone should've had their own movie. *4 HOURS IS NOT ENOUGH TO SET UP THE ENTIRE FUCKING JUSTICE LEAGUE.*
What's even worse is that they introduced multiverse bullshit here so if they somehow manage to avoid studio closure after this game, they're ready to use the another universe excuse if they want to actually create a justice league game down the line.
"Causing long term mental and emotional damage to everyone you knew." ArkhamVerse Harley helped joker torture Jason Todd into becoming the Arkham Knight btw.
This Harley also poisoned a little girl to death, and along the joker, convinced her father it was his fault and that he had nothing more to live for, and gave him happy gas pills because they couldn't let the guy kill himself in a not agonazing way.
To be fair this is obviously not the same Harley Quinn, considering she is not head over heels for Joker, nor have the same personality as the Quinn of ArkhamVerse. Hell I wouldn't doubt that this Harley Quinn would say she hates Joker. This is supposed to be modeled after Margot Robbie's S.S interpretation of Quinn, or the more recent comic interpretation of her "redeeming" herself and being on Batman's side.
@@SulphurMind But this is Arkhamverse Harley, a Harley that is way more morally dark than the regular Harley. The previous comments even stated what horrendous acts she’s done. She confirms that she’s been through Arkham’s events and that she is the same Harley, so the way she acts is just stupid.
@@killminewin4733 Which is why I and many others have labeled this game as non-canon to the verse. As far as I am concerned, the Arkham Knight ending is still where things have ended off.
where is Aquaman? where is the rest of the fucking villains of DC, too? lmao, like using Bloodsport as a replacement of Deadshot would've been cooler as his design is waaaay cooler and he's got that thing where he can pull overpowered guns out of portals or something
You beat me to it 😅 I feel like they were forced to make this and didn't want to so they made it as bad as possible in hopes the executives won't bother them again for something like this.
If they were going to bring in the multiverse, why not have the Suicide Squad fight the Crime Syndicate who are evil versions of the Justice League. The Crime Syndicate come in, imprison the Justice League in the Phantom Zone, and now the Suicide Squad have to fight the Syndicate and free the League. But you have to put thought into the story, and figure out how to make this into a live service with microtransactions instead of a single player, so never mind.
Because it really doenst matter as long as the game has enough of a story to hook in more money from future dlcs. Its the unfortunate consequnce of a live service game gotta have a service to give.
I have to say one thing that extremely bothered me is the way the team treats king shark King shark doesn’t have a defined character so every writer just does whatever they feel like with him and for some reason they decided in this game to make him a patient, wise and respectful, albeit a bit clumsy demigod He’s so nice to listen too and a lot of his dialogue is poignant and every single person treats him like *garbage* he is constantly disrespected and not a single character listens to him, just resorting to calling him a shark and then moving on He stands out like a sore thumb because it shows that the writing room is capable of making compelling and likeable characters but *deliberately chose not to*
It’s not the first time I’ve seen it, which just enforces things like doing it on purpose and personal profit by leeching money from the company All that seems to matter is showing off the fancy shamancy motion capture and graphic manipulations to show what their games CAN BE MADE TO DO.
I don't think they consciously know how to write those characters. They just think wise people make for good butt of the joke types for much more fun and quirky characters to dismiss and make fun at, hence why he's written this way. They just don't think he's a good character, they're just piling traits that they hold disdain for, why it doesn't translate to the rest of the work, King Shark isn't written this way purposely.
I don't even think that's the case when they literally just copied his entire character from Drax. If you're just writing Drax and then find-replacing his name in the script for "King Shark," then it's easy to mistake him for being a well-written character among a cast of fools not even smart enough to be called "idiots."
@@MarvinPowell1 Maybe a copy of the actual character from the comics and even the recent Guardian's game, but certainly not the movies. The shark is not nearly goofy enough for that - he actually behaves like a demure, honorable warrior MOST of the time. This game doesn't have an ounce of consistency in it.
They wrote 1 character well and the rest like garbage.. This indicates that the one well written character was the exception, a fluke, not necessarily that they are capable of writing characters well at will but simply choose not to. It is more likely that they stumbled upon a good character and the rest of the characters are the true indication of their writing level, abysmal.
@@moonlightwarriorgaming743 he was the sweetest man. And if you got to meet him early, you'd get signed copies of the Arkham games as well as the animated TV show.
Also,I want to point out that Hack,Lex,Hiro,Gizmo and probably Brainiac could've hacked the squad's Bombs at any given moment. The writers hope for people to play dumb and not question anything.
Agreed. They are all characters who could've effortlessly outsmarted Waller because it sounds like she just conscripted everyone; no one is following her out of loyalty or respect. It's another testament to the game's writing - they expect us to believe that all a female character has to do to garner "respect" is threaten and, as he said, be "all bitch with no bite."
It's really not disscused enough how Rocksteady spent years perfecting a combat engine that redefined hand-to-hand combat in video games, managed to perfectly balance large-scale combat and stealth, and then ditched it for the kind of shooting gameplay that was out of date when Fortnite came out.
This game really wants to ignore the atrocities that Harley has done in the arkhamverse which are still Canon and one of the things that wasn't changed
@@chrisdaughen5257 Nope. The Harley Quinn's Revenge DLC for Arkham City heavily hints that she's not pregnant. And that the pregnacy tests were false positives
Arkham Asylum came out 15 years ago and it’s better than this game in almost every way imaginable. Just goes to show you it’s not about the time. It’s about the amount of care and effort that went into it.
Wow, no one has ever thought of that before you. We all always thought a new game is always way better than any game was before it. You must be a real wise man/woman/thing/whatever.
It's accurate, but it's a low bar. The problem with Injustice Harley Quinn is that she was handed redemption without truly deserving it. The game and the tie-in comics constantly treat her as a victim of the Joker while ignoring all the stuff she does willingly like help set up the destruction of Metropolis and forming that cult that worshiped the Joker. It takes more than just acknowledging that the Joker was a piece of shit and having a secret daughter before being absolved of what she did.

If you couldn't tell all the inconsistencies and bullshit with Harley it's because they wanted to bring her in close to her Harley Quinn Cartoon variant. Everything from her suddenly hating joker to her suddenly having a relationship with Ivy that chronologically couldn't happen. It's literally just to bring her in closer with her most popular variant...from a fucking comedy.
I'm honestly fine with an anti-hero esque version of Harley Quinn that is trying to detach herself from the Joker. The problem this game has is that it's trying to force it without the proper lead up to it. Arkham Harley was so enamored with Joker, even after his death as shown in the Arkham City and Arkham Knight, it doesn't work to make Arkham Harley Quinn anyway remotely like the Harley Quinn in like, the show.
One of the issues I have with this game is that the contingency plans against the Leaguers essentially boils down to simply shooting them with special bullets. There is no real alteration to the gameplay style or anything of that sort. It essentially involves shooting the bosses or a specific target, parrying and dodging their attacks, and start shooting them again and repeating this cycle until they are defeated.
@@csab8642 At least provide a new gameplay function that's unique. Batman had a whole new move set for a few min second phase of the Clayface fight in Arkham City with his swords. It wouldn't be too hard to come up with a new mechanic. Especially considering that the later seasons are basically enhanced versions of these boss fights. Something unique. Make their encounters feel more rewarding and refreshing.
@@csab8642Heck, give Kingshark gold kryptonite boxing gloves and have him punch Superman till his defeat. Would it be stupid? Yeah, but it would be better than nothing.
I kept telling the fans of this game that this game will never be able to reach the same success as Batman Arkham and Insomniac Spider-Man. I knew I was right. And surprise surprise, the playerbase is under 1000 and the game flops on sale. WB should consider DC going back to making single player games.
@@cck4863 ans some of their corpos. I mean, sweet baby may just have ruin the plot, but all the gameplay sins are on WB and Rocksteady IMO (i could be wrong)
WB is to DC series like Mike Eisner was to Disney park ideas. Both look into competitors ideas, try to copy them but fail to realize why those ideas were passable at worst and very good at best. WB wanted to make a Justice League cinematic universe like Marvel was for the Avengers, it tanked. Now WB is trying to make their version of the Avengers' live service game. However, they didn't pay attention to the fact that game struggled to gain traction on launch by it's design as a live service. I can only hope that someone in WB games department was begging them not to make it for that reason but were ignored, because I'm positive no one in Rocksteady thought this was a good idea but were contracted or forced to do it. I'm just glad the studio isn't fully thrown under the bus, but I hope they can bounce back from this.
Rocksteady doing everything they can to prove Harley Quinn as an "abused and manipulated poor soul" is damn annoying ngl. Out of all the 4 members, she's probably the only one who deserves the death penalty. Alongside the countless people she's killed or tortured, she also tortured Jason, turned him against Batman, and also made a father commit suicide and killed his daughter. All in the arkhamverse. There is nothing good about Harley Quinn. She deserves to die like any other villian in my book.
But they can't write her another way, she's the quirky girl that sells tons of shit. Modern writing at best , all talk , no soul. At least she doesn't look like the real harley that we could see in the 90s show with the real costume.
Harley was also involved in a plot where Joker murdered a five year old girl and drove her dad to suicide to steal an amusement park he was manipulated into building for his daughter by Harley, Joker, and Dr. Young.

13:59 Even with plot armor most of them should've died. King Shark is the only one with actual powers and Batman in Assault on Arkham kicked all FOUR of their asses, along with Black Spider and Killer Frost and he wasn't even trying to kill them. The idea these four could beat, much less kill Evil versions of the Justice League go way beyond unbelieveable.
When it coms to power rankings these members of the justice league are all A ranks. Meanwhile pretty much the entire team is D rank at best, King Shark could maybe be C rank but that pushes it a bit. That would be like sending a skinny teenager to fight against John Cena. You're not gonna get a fight, you'll get a slaughter
True but for king shark depends on the version original one was a superboy villain who could trade blows with him another fought superman and a later one was an aquaman villain so I say he's at least C+ tier he is also stronger than killer Croc the weakest version of him I can think of is the one from the animated movie of suicide squad who I don't even consider to count as he isn't even a shark that version of him has more in common with killer Croc than king shark heck the only think that tells you it's king shark is because people call him that which is a really poor adaptation of a character if their name is the only recognisable thing about them.

What's the opposite of a love letter to something? A hate letter? Idk but this game is exactly that to the Arkhamverse. It actually makes it really easy to just consider it as non-canon to the Arkhamverse.
I think the opposite of a love letter is a Dear John/Jane Letter, where you break up with someone over long distance, which leaves the receiver feeling confused, upset, and kind of gassy. So, yeah. That's this game in a nutshell. Especially since it drove off the original creators of Rocksteady to make a new studio.
The odds of this getting delisted (so soon) are slim. It’s not like Avengers because Sqaure Enix didn’t own the IP. They had to pay a licensing fee to Marvel but because the game didn’t make a profit it didn’t justify paying the heavy price Warner Bros owns both these characters and Rocksteady studios so there is no licensing fee. They’re not paying anyone to keep it listed
and later in the story they have access to the file where batman explains how to beat Superman, then the batman fights happens, BUT THEY DONT EVEN GO BACK TO WATCH IT AFTER THEY BEAT HIM and even king shark's like "shoulda we gone back and watched it?" like what the hell
What's a shame is that a Task Force X strategy game set in the Arkham Universe could be fun. Imagine playing as Deathstroke or something and leading a team of Z-list villains on a mission, choosing 6 teammates from a large pool, each with unique skills and drawbacks, sending them on Hitman style missions to accomplish a target in the DC Universe. Like you go into Arkham City to extract an important official who crash landed there in a plane (nice little Escape from New York reference). Maybe find an arms dealer in Khandaq (coming into conflict with Black Adam). Stealing an important weapon from Lexcorp in Metropolis mid Luthor-Superman, missions in Themyscira with an all-female squad only. Maybe have a Vandal Savage link to connect them (ending with a Legion of Doom base boss fight), that kind of thing. When a teammate dies, they stay dead throughout that play through, forcing you to choose new people each mission. Could have been fun. Maybe a DLC in Arkham Asylum (in the past). Really could have been interesting and fun.
I find it hilarious that the “fake” Deadshot has shown way more impressive skill with his firearms and trickshots than the new token Deadshot. No clue why they thought that was a good idea
@hgriffin2915 They were probably thinking some shit like "she's a strong independent woman and he's a privileged white guy." That sounds about like what they were thinking.
Right like she has the least right to say that like if they really wanted to have a scene bashing Batman like that they should have saved for a Playable red hood like only the bat family, Selina , or maybe Talia should have the right say that kind of thing since they are the only real victims
I think the biggest problem is not even the "killing batman by shooting him in the head", I feel like that is an ironic and good way for batman to be killed, the problems is all the stuff that happens before that point. Batman is supposed to be the super smart detective that can easily outsmart all of the suicide squad members with no problems and yet the best he could do was reuse the scarecrow fight?
Exactly, this is the same Batman who held his own against a militia in Arkham knight but gets killed by a bunch of C-tier villains. It really sucks that they did that and I am glad that the game bombed.
The funniest thing to me is that, warframe will be celebrating its 11th year this is year around summerish. Meanwhile this one will probably make it to 1-2 years and then be forgotten, unless they revamp alot
There're only like three successful live-service games (not counting gacha): Fortnite, Apex Legends and Warframe And guess what, all of them are free to play, instead of charging full price - this might be a major component in their success ^^
Its clear the writers only glanced at the Arkham games when writing this travesty because the amount of plot holes and inconsistent story threads is quite baffling. How do you write harley to be an anti hero when she helped murder little children. This could have been easily solved if this was a actual different universe but for some reason they had to tie this in with Arkham for some reason.
Why even make it part of the Arkham-verse? They could have made it take place in its own continuity and fans of those games wouldn't have thought of it differently. I think someone in the dev team knew this because I never saw the marketing imply this was a sequel to Arkham Knight. At least with the multi-verse backdrop and recasting you can argue this game takes place in a another universe that just happened to have a similar history. WB should have made this a sequel to the Superman ending of Injustice 2. Have evil Superman lose control of Braniac and get brainwashed alongside every other superhero. Batman was already brainwashed in that ending and Harley feels more like the one from Injustice anyway, wanting to move on from the Joker.
Sales. That's all there is to it. They wanted to gain more customers so they made Arkham canon to drag it Arkham fans since a lot of them would be interested to see what happens after Arkham Knight. Unfortunately for them, they never took into account how pissed off Arkham fans would be once they see how their Arkham universe would be treated, especially when we have to play Batman Arkham games now with this game hanging over our heads as the final outcome to the Arkhamverse. So really, their greed and desperation ended up shooting themselves in the foot and they would have been better off in sales had they just made their own universe. They'll probably backpedal at some point in the future by resurrecting the JL but the damage's done.
I remember before they announced SS, they said Rocksteady was developing another game in the Arkhamverse. As soon as they revealed it was Suicide Squad I immediately lost interest
Considering the fact that this entire game ends with the twist that the REAL JL are still alive & the ones you kill are clones. The real sin is WB thinking this game held ANY meaning! Although it should get HALF of a sin off for sparing the JL
5:05 That's cause Waller's new via is an extreme narcissist who basically requires any character she plays in a game to look exactly like her. No joke.

I'm so sick of this genre and I hate everyone who spends money on these games on a deep personal level. Normally I don't care but the money you spend is actively affecting me and the games that I love.
As far as I'm concerned the biggest sin is making me realise how much I want an entire game where you play the villain to Conroy's Batman, with no possibility of it ever actually happening.
42:07 in regards to who Lex Luthor might actually be: In Injustice 2, if you defeat Brainiac in it's games version of MK towers and see the ending of that character, you learn you were playing as "Brainiac 5, a descendent of Brainiac without homicidal tendencies. People fear Coulons because of my ancestor, so I elected to come back in time and fix that." That's probably what is going on here for the big reveal, a 14th Brainiac, but not really.
Surprised this video wasn't an HOUR long. I would also add the sin that Injustice 2 already did the whole Brainiac Attacks plot, and this version just feels like a discount brand of something better.

you expect these greedy lazy savages to read source material for their characters? This entire game was created solely as a slot machine. All Live Service games are slot machines. Minimal effort, high profit. Luckily this game was so god damn awful it failed on launch so WB probably won't make millions from it's lazy pile of dog poop. Somehow I think Rocksteady intentionally made this game bad, it's almost purposeful. Like they wanted it to fail as a big middle finger to WB.
2:45 Which would be fine EXCEPT we didn't see that transformation and the Arkham version of Harley Quinn is probably one of the most evil versions of the character so we REALLY needed to see that transformation.
Exactly in her last appearance (Arkham Knight) she was still remorselessly unhinged and obsessed with her “puddin’”. But they wanted to make her more in line with the popular version of her regardless of it making sense for this version of the character.
@@thomasraines1396 The biggest thing is the stuff with Poison Ivy. She and Harley were never beyond "friendly" in this series, and she died before anything could grow from that. That and Poison Ivy in this series is also not that interested in human connections.
For sin 42, Harley actually has seen a bat computer. Back in Arkham knight, she took over Panessa studios, a pseudo batcave with a bat computer in it. Despite this game getting that one singular moment right, everything else is beyond saving
I also see that the devs don't know how the speed force works. It doesn't give Flash his powers. He's a speedster without it. But it is a phenomena that makes him way stronger than just a "dude run fast" would allow.

Fun fact: They retconned the events of this game by stating that you're only fighting clones of the justice league, not the actual justice league. Oh, and they're discontinuing support for the game in June. Have to admit, it does my jaded, cynical heart a bit of good to see bad games fail.

So question: This is part of the Arkham series right? There's a high possibility that not many people played Blackgate, at the end of that game Waller takes Bronze tiger, Deadshot, Catwoman, and mentioned Deathstroke. What happened to that?
6:46 Yeah, you're right, but what's even more noticeable is the fact that Harley fails to see your point. OK, she's a chaos-driven psychopath, but she's also a psychiatrist - and she had plenty of experience about manipulation and mind games, due to the time she spent with the Joker. She should have been the first to comment about the stupidity of Waller's decision. Sure, she could have still chosen chaos, but, at least, she should have exposed the flaws in Waller's plan and explained why it would decrease their capacity to work together - a kind of reverse team bonding.
The really sad thing is there was lots of opportunity to make each character play uniquely while encouraging some actual cooperation beyond shooting at the same thing occasionally. - Deadshot: Good at long range single target damage and nothing else so he needs the others to cover him while he kills high priority targets. Can shoot healing/buff syringes to buff teammates. Only one who uses guns. - King Shark: Can pick up and throw teammates up to rooftops, teammates get a damage buff after being thrown. Teammates can ride on Shark's back. Shark is the best swimmer and teammates can ride on him while swimming. Have an Aquaman fight to emphasise this. Doesn't use guns, hands to big. Uses fists and jaws to rip and tear. - Harley: Ditch the Batman gadgets, use Joker gadgets. Playstyle based on area denial and placing equipment to help teammates like rappel lines to help teammates reach roofs. Uses small firearms and her baseball bat. - Captain Boomerang: Playstyle built around eccentric boomerangs that create distractions, opportunities and debuffs. What we got was 4 flavours of Uncharted 4 Nathan Drake
You know what's Ironic? Poison Ivy's plants, can burn, electrify, freeze and cause frenzy. But there's no Poison attribute...It's literally her name sake, hell it's the one thing plants ARE known to actually able to do.
5:30 Yeah what are Boomerang and Deadshot doing in Arkham? Not to mention what is King Shark doing there? His jumpsuit shows he’s been transported from a different facility to Arkham which has been reopened (I guess) solely just so Harley can be there. No wonder she can’t be killed! 28:00 Wouldn't traveling to another dimension count as stepping outside of Waller's allowed boundaries - thus activating the bombs in their heads ? If they're in another dimension, they can't be tracked anymore. If they can't be tracked anymore, they're either awol our somewhere outside of the intended boundaries. Both cases are reason enough for the bombs to detonate. And, if they can't be reached by the detonation signal, because they are in another dimension, then there's still a possibility that this detonation signal would 'resume connection' as soon as they are back in their original world - making them explode the very second they come back.

A game about killing superheroes set in an universe where this is their first appearance should’ve been the biggest red flag about this game
Not to mention the Batman we had 4 games with
A movie featuring Superman's death and setting up the Justice League where it's the Man of Steel's second appearance and everyone else's first should've been the biggest red flag about Dawn of Justice.
Lol it WAS the biggest red flag. Them setting this in the Arkhamverse was just criminal
What's even worse is that they introduced multiverse bullshit here so if they somehow manage to avoid studio closure after this game, they're ready to use the another universe excuse if they want to actually create a justice league game down the line.

ArkhamVerse Harley helped joker torture Jason Todd into becoming the Arkham Knight btw.

I have to say one thing that extremely bothered me is the way the team treats king shark
King shark doesn’t have a defined character so every writer just does whatever they feel like with him and for some reason they decided in this game to make him a patient, wise and respectful, albeit a bit clumsy demigod
He’s so nice to listen too and a lot of his dialogue is poignant and every single person treats him like *garbage*
he is constantly disrespected and not a single character listens to him, just resorting to calling him a shark and then moving on
He stands out like a sore thumb because it shows that the writing room is capable of making compelling and likeable characters but *deliberately chose not to*
It’s not the first time I’ve seen it, which just enforces things like doing it on purpose and personal profit by leeching money from the company
All that seems to matter is showing off the fancy shamancy motion capture and graphic manipulations to show what their games CAN BE MADE TO DO.

*100% THIS!*
Batman too.
The fact that Waller could detect them going out of the mission zone but didn't have their communicators wired or bugged to her was stupid.
And Riddler
It's really not disscused enough how Rocksteady spent years perfecting a combat engine that redefined hand-to-hand combat in video games, managed to perfectly balance large-scale combat and stealth, and then ditched it for the kind of shooting gameplay that was out of date when Fortnite came out.
And remember, these are the same people that made it possible to get 200x hit combos. Oh, how the mighty have fallen

The last time we saw Arkham Harley she was still enamored with her “puddin’” and Ivy died.
Because IT'S THAT EASY!
... Except it isn't.

One of the issues I have with this game is that the contingency plans against the Leaguers essentially boils down to simply shooting them with special bullets. There is no real alteration to the gameplay style or anything of that sort.
And it’s done with a 2-minute image slideshow that doesn’t acknowledge that Wonder Woman is still dead and Robin is still gone
Sin: This game exists.
Sin count: 1000000000
5:05 That's cause Waller's new via is an extreme narcissist who basically requires any character she plays in a game to look exactly like her. No joke.
For real, I think I've seen that bug eyed character model in like 10 games now.

@@AngelOfDæth_4 Look at any human character she's played in a video game, they literally all look exactly the same.
so... she's perfect for the role? lol
I literally just said like 2 days ago, I wonder when Dartigan is doing Suicide Squad KTJL. I've seen a bunch of TH-cam videos but the amount of depth and relevant gameplay is unmatched
6:14 Correction: THIS Deadshot is the Deadshot from a different Universe.
Debra Wilson playing another slight variation of the same character, I see.
I know. Very creative.
Her eyes also seem to be bigger and further apart in every iteration.
Some day, they will just float next to her character's head ^^
And they pretty much always look the same. Either the creators really like her as a person or Ms. Wilson refuses to voice a character that doesn't look like her.
@@thefanwithoutaface8105 Unlikely that it's the latter, since she voiced a moth monster in Destiny and a little robot in the latest Ratchet and Clank game.
@@arsenelupin9697 Let me rephrase, every Human character.

this, its always apparent they do what they complain about cause projection
written by a ESG company, of course its filled with pedo bait
Ah yes the oppressed straight male 😂
Honestly at this point you can just see if Debra Wilson plays a character in a game to know if it's going to be shit.
The market is so oversaturated with these live service games and each one demand so much of your time that it's basically a second job.
Sweet Baby Inc. kills the Justice League is a more fitting title for this game.
"Was there a New Zealander on the writing team?" Like we could teach one to read! 😹🤣
42:07 in regards to who Lex Luthor might actually be:
In Injustice 2, if you defeat Brainiac in it's games version of MK towers and see the ending of that character, you learn you were playing as "Brainiac 5, a descendent of Brainiac without homicidal tendencies. People fear Coulons because of my ancestor, so I elected to come back in time and fix that."
That's probably what is going on here for the big reveal, a 14th Brainiac, but not really.
So wonder Woman, whom we've NEVER SEEN BEFORE up until now has a more respectable death than batman, who died on a PARK BENCH😭😭😭😭😭😭
Because she's wahmon. Same goes to any character that is "What is a female?"
@@thientuongnguyen2564oh hell nahh you're one of those terminally political online culture worrior
Surprised this video wasn't an HOUR long.
I would also add the sin that Injustice 2 already did the whole Brainiac Attacks plot, and this version just feels like a discount brand of something better.
Not to mention there was barely any glass covering the speed gauntlet, so either boomerang got cut by an invisible piece of glass, or he was so stupid that he went to touch the glass first that was under the gauntlet
Everything wrong with this game: its existence
Ive been waiting on all the sins for this one
If there was a question if this would get a DLC, considering WB just said a day or two ago this game was a waste of money, safe bet it will be a no.
I would hope that Warner learned something from this failure but it's likely not
Remember when the green lantern ring owners died and their rings fell to earth and those tings were worn by people who arnt worthy??? I forgot the book, but the people became braindead, and the lantern ring dragged them around using giant green babies, and the heros had to run because the green babies (not jojo's) were feral.
Point is DC ALREADY HAD DECIDED WHAT HAPPENS WHEN SOMEONE WHO ISN'T WORTHY OF A LANTERN RING WEARS ONE
Did... did they not read any of the relevant comics?
Or talk to people who did??
you expect these greedy lazy savages to read source material for their characters? This entire game was created solely as a slot machine. All Live Service games are slot machines.
Minimal effort, high profit.
Luckily this game was so god damn awful it failed on launch so WB probably won't make millions from it's lazy pile of dog poop. Somehow I think Rocksteady intentionally made this game bad, it's almost purposeful. Like they wanted it to fail as a big middle finger to WB.
2:45
Which would be fine EXCEPT we didn't see that transformation and the Arkham version of Harley Quinn is probably one of the most evil versions of the character so we REALLY needed to see that transformation.
@@invidatauro8922 exactly it felt so fan service-y.
"Successful" and "live services" is not something that goes together well.
It’s rare but it has happened, look at warframe, and helldivers 2
For sin 42, Harley actually has seen a bat computer. Back in Arkham knight, she took over Panessa studios, a pseudo batcave with a bat computer in it. Despite this game getting that one singular moment right, everything else is beyond saving
I also see that the devs don't know how the speed force works. It doesn't give Flash his powers. He's a speedster without it. But it is a phenomena that makes him way stronger than just a "dude run fast" would allow.
What a horrendous game, the contempt and hatred for Batman and arkham universe is evident in the that one line, "Its our turn now"
FF7 rebirth next my good sir!
I really admire how badly Dartigan seemed to want to do this video. The game came out at the beginning of February and the video is up in 3 weeks instead of the, I assume, month and a half it usually takes.
At about 30:00 , I'm glad someone else noticed how weird it is that the villains are critical of Batman's methods when they torture, maim, or kill for LITERALLY fun and profit.
35:21 in a weird show of fanservice, it actually is recent canon Batman apparently couldnt think of a specific contingency for Diana, the reasoning which was left open. (Didnt have any obvious weaknesses, doesn't have a hard code against killing, etc.). Well, Plastic Man too. And some other guys. But they aren't one of the main five.
13:27 It's been a thing in the comics for years, WW and Powergirl are her two big hero crushes and tricks them into coming to her neighbourhood faking emergencies
I already knew it was a giant red flag from the moment they killed arkham batman in the trailer, you didn’t just killed any batman, you killed the batman that carried out your entire series
14:33 what is that locker made from cardboard? Also can’t believe there wasn’t a narrative tie-in for gizmo’s Batmobile, if the writers were actually invested in the series they might’ve said it was the original one salvaged after the fight with Bane in Arkham Asylum.
Fun fact: They retconned the events of this game by stating that you're only fighting clones of the justice league, not the actual justice league. Oh, and they're discontinuing support for the game in June. Have to admit, it does my jaded, cynical heart a bit of good to see bad games fail.
Why are the subtitles so small?
Atomic heart did this too. And yet I don’t hear anyone mention that. Is it really just me?
What does it matter?

It matters if you can’t read the text if say loud noises from the game get in the way of the dialogue
Or the help analyze the game’s text. Yeah I know, this game is awful, but still make the font size bigger.
When do monster like to party the most?
April Ghoul's Day.
it's too much to not point out but notice how every male character is desecrated and joked about, then notice how every female character always get a more dignified outcome.
If I could sum this video up with one quote it would be “You’re shorter than I expected”.
They should’ve used Red Hood and the outlaws instead of the Suicide Squad. That way there be more emotion for when the Justice League die because these characters have a personal relationship with the League.
Hell the Teen Titans especially if the playable roster of 4 had Connor Kent/Kon-El aka Superboy, and either Nightwing, Red Robin, Orphan, Spoiler, or Robin, and Kid Flash, or Wally West Flash due to potential for amazing emotional dialogue with Superman, Batman, and Barry.
Sadly I want to say the people who know of the teen titans is pretty few but maybe im wrong. @@derrickhaggard
The heroes may be clones made by Braniac. With his influence, he hasnt really mind controlled them but manipulating their thoughts into believing he is a hero. You can see that the heroes see it as justice. But the clone theory also expains why the bad guy Flash isnt missing a finger.
It doesn't explain how Wonder Woman's Lasso of Truth temporarily brought Flash to his senses, though.
And they most definitely not meant THAT!
OR... bare with me here... the developers were simply too stupid and lazy to keep the continuity intact?
besides, The clone theory doesn't work.
A) Wonder Woman's lasso wouldn't have brought Barry back if he was just a cloned slave.
B) Barry already has his finger back when he tackles Batman prior to his brainwashing.
C) We have leaked audio of the league needing to be resurrected since the squad killed them.

So question: This is part of the Arkham series right? There's a high possibility that not many people played Blackgate, at the end of that game Waller takes Bronze tiger, Deadshot, Catwoman, and mentioned Deathstroke. What happened to that?
This game goes against plot of main games and you're talking like spinoff is gonna make them care?
let's be real did anyone take wallers threat against deathstroke seriously
0:50 jesus god man that's your opening? This is gonna be amazing

Everything is wrong with Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
There fixed it.
"Why would a shark be jumping?" because this game is literally jumping the shark.
I did't think it was possible to create a worse suicide squad then 2016 but here we are.
"If you had the pick of any criminals in Arkham, why would you choose these ones?"
Important question!😎
You know what's Ironic?
Poison Ivy's plants, can burn, electrify, freeze and cause frenzy.
But there's no Poison attribute...It's literally her name sake, hell it's the one thing plants ARE known to actually able to do.
5:30 Yeah what are Boomerang and Deadshot doing in Arkham? Not to mention what is King Shark doing there? His jumpsuit shows he’s been transported from a different facility to Arkham which has been reopened (I guess) solely just so Harley can be there. No wonder she can’t be killed! She has so much meta plot armor she actually keeps her whole team alive! It’s like that Larry Niven Sci-Fi novel where people are bread for luck.
Disrespecting source material and established canon, as well as taking a figurative dump all over beloved legacy characters
Lazy writing: plot armor, contrivances, coincidences, and happenstance
A shallow gameplay experience
Greedy monetization in what is already a full-priced game
... is it any wonder why this game crashed and burned harder than the Hindenburg?
28:00 Wouldn't traveling to another dimension count as stepping outside of Waller's allowed boundaries - thus activating the bombs in their heads ? If they're in another dimension, they can't be tracked anymore. If they can't be tracked anymore, they're either awol our somewhere outside of the intended boundaries. Both cases are reason enough for the bombs to detonate. And, if they can't be reached by the detonation signal, because they are in another dimension, then there's still a possibility that this detonation signal would 'resume connection' as soon as they are back in their original world - making them explode the very second they come back.
Fair point
Although I would assume the another dimension tracker picks them up instead, as Earth-2 Luthor says he already has the bombs in his head.
