Well, that's because part of Spidey's thing is that he's not supposed to be respected by the populace, and becoming an Avenger would give him some measure of respect. Spidey is a hero, but he's supposed to be shit on by everyone. It's basically a lesson how it is important to do the right thing, even if you aren't appreciated for it.

I highly disagree, Mandalorian is nothing more than a generic western with a Star Wars reskin. As a story, there is no value whatsoever. As a entertaining product... why not? The enemy of the week, baby yoda always have to be rescued (and used to sell toys), etc.. brainless entertainment, just like the entirety of this pathetic franchise.

The character can be anything, really. Who gives a shit about Bruce Banner? A second rate character at best. It's not like Spiderman for example, who have defined traits as being young, down to earth, poor as fuck, etc.. Banner is just a average character. It's all about the Hulk... and even the Hulk himself is not that iconic, most people don't even know the character is literally a rainbow

LIBRA s I’d say the opposite. Representation is garbage, but they don’t make it a focal point of the story so it isn’t a problem. But she’s annoying, doesn’t really grow, and the way they write her story is so on-the-nose that it borders on parody. The quote at the beginning “good isn’t a thing you are, it’s a thing you do” has to be the most obvious foreshadow that it’ll be used during a pivotal event.
What’s funny/sad is that even by the end... she still feels like a tag-along. She doesn’t actually integrate into the group she just happens to be there. Her and a Bruce are the only ones that have any time together. The rest just say she’s awesome and that’s about the extent of their interaction. Although the Avengers themselves don’t really feel like a team with their own dynamic, but you would think the main character would get the most effort.
This whole game feels like it’s all one big fanfic by Kamala.
The fact the avengers didn’t have a mass mob of fans trying to get to this in the beginning of the game is evidence of that, especially since Kamala gets to see talk to all the avengers and no one else.
Think of how painful this would’ve been if this was a justice league game?
Just my opinion though.

If black widow was tiny dancer why the fuck didn’t she give the footage of what happened to captain America to the other avengers and instead to Kamala, what makes her so special that things needed to happen like they did? I see what you’re trying to say but the part where she gets the video is that anyone could’ve hacked in and get the video but it would be difficult given that aim would find them if they guessed the password wrong too many times or just in general they were going to be on the watchlist of aim even if they guessed the password.

This game is literally Anthem. heroes are blamed for 1 situation, a fan becomes one of those heroes to bring back the gang a, plot twist that one of the members is questionable, a fight happens, Flying levels are the only thing decent
Literally a glorified beat n' up with lots of overacting. Considering it's size on PC, 130gbs, it's actually more efficient to play Streets of Rage or any of those 16bits beat n' ups (like the Avengers itself, TMNT, etc). Same kind of fun, but without the self indulgence

The last they saw Thor, he was storming off, heh, because he refused to put up with the argument Tony and Bruce were having or let it get in the way of him helping others. That raises the possibility that he was reluctant to believe that they had truly stopped by the time theu were able to track down his contact info. And factoring in the time it took to contact Pym, raid the compound where A.I.M. stored the Pym particles, save the Ant Hill from an attack by A.I.M., and finish the space suit,, nothing rules out the possibility that someone actually did try to contact Thor while the others were working on the space suit plan.

Yes, it is. He used to slightly change his voice in his earlier videos to make it less monotonous because he thought people wouldn’t appreciate his real voice. Now he doesn’t care as much about that. I think a monotonous voice is perfect to nitpick something like video games.

When I first watched the final fight and saw the huge robot, my mind immediately jumped to "Oh, it's a sentinel" but I was disappointed when Thor corrected me. Everyone in other videos I watched all said the same thing, and the dark blue/ borderline purple color tone doesn't help either.

That shit's always bothered me and I don't even read comics much, I just watch the MCU. How in the living shit bricks is any religious system in any of the Marvel Universes still around when Thor, the Norse God of Thunder, is an alien? You'd think someone would consider that Jesus Christ was actually an alien from another dimension and that the Paradise of Heaven is another universe entirely. Or that Buddha was actually a vessel a creature from another planet used to communicate to ours. Or that Islam is a cult an alien created that needs human blood or souls to keep itself alive.
Or anything else than what those actual faiths believe. Every single Marvel Universe should be going through a massive Crisis of Faith and trying to reconcile this with their beliefs. Take Charles Darwin's Theory of Evolution arising and the the threat it had to religion and then increase by 1,000,000%.
Pretty much. And things are even worse in the DC universe, considering Superman is literally Alien Jesus wearing a cape. Mankind would be impacted in such ways, it will not be just "our same New York, but insert a mutant here". This New York would be a completely different place than the real thing.

To further expand on this. The Mutant gene was a result of experimentation of early humanity by the Celestials. A race of powerful cosmic beings.
They created 3 civilisations, the eternals, the deviants and then humans who possessed a latent gene which could lead to greater potential ie, powers.
The deviants went to war and wiped out most of the eternals, which led to the celestials returning and wiping out the deviants, leaving only the humans. Eventually the latent gene started manifesting resulting in mutants.

They don't explain any of that in game. They make it seem like anyone exposed to the mist will become an Inhuman. Also, Inhumans aren't hated in the Comics like Mutants are, that's why where copying comes from.
Celestial Soldier and Magee Aaron, Inhumans are just a discount of Meta-Humans from DC, and Kamala Khan is just a discount of Luffy from One Piece.

The Inhunans were introduce in 1965, but they lived on the moon since they wanted to avoid ordinary humans because they weren't advanced yet. Also, since people on Earth were disrespecting mutants, the Inhumans didn't want to deal with that ludicrous. The Meta humans were introduce in 1986.
The reason Inhumans are being brought up more often because since the MCU didn't have the rights to the X-men characters yet, they decided to go with the Inhumans instead. It was also during the same time that Scarlett Witch destroyed half of the Mutant population in the comics and the number of Inhumans were increasing.
Voice acting sin couldn't be more accurate. Imagine wanting to hear this group that has a near monopoly on video games rolls for the thousandth time. They aren't even challenged anymore. All of them sound like themselves. Even Travis' Thor is just "insert any of his previous characters trying to play Thor" You know what's sad. All the VAs from Ultimate where there sans maybe Captain America and Widow. How do you let Baker do Hulk and not Fred Tatasciore. How?

Sometimes that kind of silly design can be charming, like in One Piece for example... but most of the time it's just ridiculous (which is the case here)
It's good thing that there are all these beta testers that test this game and it's issues. I'm sure it will be fine when the full game comes out.

It's a shame that I prefer the Marvel Ultimate Alliance trilogy over this any day of the week. You do way more in that game and its feels earned.
I loved the story of MUA 1. From a single attack on the helicarrier you end up in hell, then om asgard, then with the Shiar and in the middle of Galactus feeding. Say whatever you want about gameplay, but the story is way better than the one in this game.

Given what I've been exposed to with this game, it's not actually bad, just underwhelming. The Avengers game isn't really doing a lot to distinguish itself on its own merits and thus lacks impact, which is actually pretty frustrating.
Tbh this could avengers game could have the spiritual successor to Ps4 spiderman. I am just really dissatisfied and disgusted and disappointed

This game feels like a highly polished, less fun version of Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Oh well, at least we got cool characters like diversity Elastigirl.
Is it pretty to look at? Yes. Did Ultimate Alliance glitch nearly as much? No.

Pedranza Actually Mister Fantastic isn’t a rip-off of Plastic Man, while they do have similar powers, that’s about it. They have contrasting personalities, Reed is a scientific genius who isn’t very emotional and Plastic Man is a sillier character who makes jokes, and they don’t even look the same as they don’t even share any costume similarities and their hair color is different. Honestly it’s a huge stretch to call Mister Fantastic a copy of Plastic Man.

I still can't get over the how big a deal is being made over a fanfic contest in this game.
Seems something tony would do to feed his ego
Cap remembering all the entries is something he would do as he would be the one reading them to give the kids hope
crashing it seems like something villains would do
The heroes being framed for a disaster seems like something people would do as guilt by association exist in real life
Banner putting the blame on the avengers saying they are dangerous makes since since he struggles with the hulk ever since he became him and he sees the destruction after every battle possibly due to ptsd for when the hulk was just a monster
So that part makes the story make since but everyone in the avengers turning to a kid they met only once before she had powers relying on her and telling her she is awesome while the plot only drives forward due to her
Banner trusting someone with his research knowing full well people will try to replicate it
Tony willing to take kamala even when bruce showed that he was abandoning her (this could be overlooked as in the movies he looks after peter and the fact banner basically is dropping her off in the middle of nowhere
being smarter that black widow and tony during a interrogation though its mostly widows job
Tony not thinking the audio was doctored for the evidence of caps death after an attack with a technopath and even if he did not know the extent of his powers he already said the video was already encrypted to be different so there could be one that swap the original audio
Widow not liking kids but still congratulating and telling her shes awesome even when she does something stupid
Widow not being able to get into a heavily fortified building and talking about how a kid got in there even though she was captured
Widow talking to herself as much as she did even when she was trying to be stealthy
Banner knowing tony's personality and thor's of not listening when told to do something still not watching kamala when she shows sign she is not going to follow orders and not faulting her when she would have died if not for widow
Cap using her for the final missions of the game without knowing anything about her
To be fair any of the avengers bringing her on dangerous missions
And finally the avengers just plain getting along and not bickering directly and beyond after kamala trying to stop them from fighting with words
I'm tired of hearing Tony Stark repeating the same line again and again after blowing off enemies "I am so Proud of me!". :/

It really makes me angry how this game turned out. It´s like a Warriors game without the substance that makes warriors games so fun to play. Speaking of that:

I was expecting to see Loki, you know the best marvel villain of all time.
I had a conversation with someone about how the end credits should of had loki appear and say
"you thought i would be in this game stay tuned for the second or maybe the dlc"
Then i thought the line would be better for deadpool but that would make less since than a loki breaking the fourth wall like deadpool

The only thing they have to do is follow the storyline of the avengers earths mightiest heroes it’s been canceled long enough for a lot of people not to remember it but the whole plotline of all four prisons breaking down and The team tracking down 74 super villains was the best way to go at it
Also by doing that add so much more different characters and 74 super villains alone could’ve been the free DLC that they could’ve kept adding to it we would’ve got all kinds of versions of people that’s the way they should’ve did it that would’ve been perfect
I enjoyed the story for this game, I thought it was good, not stand out, but good...gameplay wise......I mean how can you have 4 Avengers movie showing you what the avengers do (save lives, minimize damage, fight armies yes, etc) and all they came up with was... “hey let’s have the avengers game where all they do is fight monotonous armies of robots and...yeah that’s it.
Hulk should literally just one-shot nearly every enemy he comes across, yet it looks like he's got marshmallows for fists in this game :/
They could have just limited your use as Hulk and when you do use him he’s just a fist of pure power instead of nerfing him to the ground.
damond green Can’t really do that since there would be a huge disconnect when you play post-game stuff. Plus your level/gear in single-player is also used across multiplayer too.
It’s less a “nerf” problem and moreso an ensemble problem. Some characters you can’t do “right” because it would break the game. Because then Thor should also be able to one-shot enemies. You kind of just have to accept it. If you did a linear game where you can only use characters in scripted sections, then people would complain that they didn’t get to use X character enough and wanted to play them more.
mrshmuga9 Doesn’t make sense as I’m talking about the campaign and not co-op and games have done this before and people like it especially when Hulk is supposed to be an almost unstoppable power so they wouldn’t get an argument anywhere.
Kamala references things in the comics and movies and they treat the events of the movies like they happened I thought because like in the comics the heroes exploits and likenesses are used for comics and are exaggerated but are generally just public knowledge funnily enough by the publishing title marvel comics like she hulk got paid for signing her likeness to marvel and a bunch of comics got made about her and captain america even worked as an artist for the in universe marvel comics at one point
KENDALL BROWN The problem there is that it doesn’t really make sense if that was the case. Characters like Abomination look vastly different from how they appeared in the MCU and Hank Pym is much younger compared to how the MCU portrayed him in Ant-Man and he has an actual relationship with the Avengers that was never there in the MCU due to him currently being retired and very old, so that explanation doesn’t actually work. The real problem here is that the devs want to have their cake and eat it too. They want to include things from the Comics, but also want to include things from the movies, which doesn’t fundamentally work because both are vastly different continuities. And even your explanation doesn’t explain everything. Like how can they have a comic version of Civil War here when they seemingly didn’t have a 9/11 event occur, which influenced the storyline of Civil War quite a bit. And are we to believe that Tony would allow any comic writers to make him as detestable as Iron Man was during Civil War? They legit had him make a clone of his then dead friend Thor and have him use it to attack the anti-reg side, which result per in Clor actually killing a black man named Goliath, who’s corpse they covered in chains for the funeral. Do you really think philanthropist billionaire Tony Stark would let any comic writer make him the guy who sent superheroes to a prison in the goddamn Negative Zone, a place that induces emotional and mental trauma the more people stay there? Yeah, just like I’m sure that Hank would allow them to write him as a guy who slapped his wife once and never lived it down.
Why do we even have Kamala when her powers are identical to Mr. Fantastic's? She doesn't offer anything new to the table with her abilities.

Your first sin is something that I've seen that can alter at the moment something comes out or gets DLC patches in the future (I'm gonna assume you know this), because if the product is actually better than what was previously theorized and examined via trailers and stuff (Most recent example would be Pokemon Sword and Shield) than all the fans can "Call out" all the "Haters" that they were too judgmental of the product, but on the flip side, if the game turns out to be just as bad, sometimes lesser than previously thought (Which also only comes when the thing comes out) or is just "meh" than the initial theorizers and "HATERS" can simply say "Yup, turns out I was pretty much right" and then make videos that at least have a "Now there are some good ideas here, it's just few in between all the bad stuff"
Except the DLC added more problems than it supposedly 'solved'.

And most likely this concept will reach a complete rupture sooner rather than later. To repeat the same heroes and tropes for 8+ decades... Everything has a limit, I highly doubt these characters can be recycled for more than a century

It been know for years that Isaac Pearlmutter has been trying to move inhumans into the xmen role because Marvel didn't have the movie rights.

there is one thing i thought worked about this game. MODOK. Sure, he was cliche and a basic villain, but i do like his design, ideals and motivation, if not executed well. also, turning a joke villain into the main villain for an avengers game and it at least somewhat makes sense is impressive.

Honestly the only things that were wrong with this game are the cutscenes, the graphics, and how short it was, like I don’t wanna spend $60 on a game that would take me like five hours to beat, games should either be short with a lower price or long and expensive
