It is actually amazing how much these guys can accomplish using such primitive tools and manual labor. I am willing to bet these guys don't make as money as they should. Much respect from the USA.
I was working for an engineering firm, producing large diameter cast iron rolls for use in Offset Metal Sheet printing machines. They would buy 'spun/cast drainage pipes' and cut them down (we had a big pile of chopped off ends, for the scrap man). Turned ends were heat/shrunk into the fully machined 'pipe' and.... There you have it 👍 tooSavvy

This process appeared to have been carried out in a disorderly manner using tools from a bygone era. However, it is a finesse that meets the needs and resources available. What amazes me the most is the centrifugal casting, probably of cast iron, of a thick-walled sleeve. The mere production of the charge is thought-provoking, because there was no air compressor in sight. The assembly, at its ends, of rollers also arouses admiration during the devices used! Doesn't know what angular grooving of the shaft sleeve is for? Greetings and congratulations 👌.
Looks like they are using high quality scrap for these items, judging by the chips it is cast steel. The scrap used looks like brake calipers etc. Press rollers for sugar cane processing?
Impressive results so much from so little with much labor, cheers to them for a great job. Very cool, however safety is of little concern for sure. OSHA in the US would pad lock the doors.
It was pretty fascinating to see the 'spin casting process' I've heard about it but never seen it done so I now understand why it's so expensive to get spun cast cast iron in USA as I doubt the process is very much different but labor costs and insurance far higher
If we had tools and machinery like u we could’ve achieved 1000 more advanced than what you guys are doing right now we are making same things with old tech and 100 times cheaper compared to west , we got best talented men who can give u product regardless of what equipment you give them at the end they give u the desired product and that days are not far when our mechanists will have updated tech they’re in money saving and phase right now it next 10 to 15 years everyone of them are going to upgrade their equipment and working environment

There's no need for the filth and squalor in that workplace, it costs nothing to sweep or even rake up, even on a dirt floor. Why would you transfer the job to three or more different machines, surely one machinist could do the whole job and save set up time and accuracy?
Just wonder how many of Americas criminals would never have been if in early life they didn't have to meet so much certification to go hands on to engineering projects in early life? Somewhere in the middle with you.
These guys do some pretty crappy work. "Straight", "sharp", "Clean" are foreign concepts that they can't grasp. Everything gets rolled in the dirt at least 5 times, both before and after the work is done. I do think they could be taught though. They're tenacious and driven. Какой очаровательный шлак на полу, а они в сандалях. Я так понимаю местные изготовители сандалии без работы не сидят. Периодически обувь меняют.
👍👍👍 the industrial sector that still uses human resources is a good government policy for the sake of healthy economic and industrial enthusiasm.
In the UK we called this spin casting.
The rotating mold was lined with carbon sand .
Used for the cylinder liners in engines mainly
