I had used this strategy before. My go-to is the height one by saying (jokingly of course) "I don't usually go for girls shorter than me, but you seem really cool so I may make an exception this one time." And I'm 6'3", so this always seems over the top and makes her laugh.
Of note, what I say after is usually a follow-up question to something she said before. It helps to sho w that I listened and decreases the chance of awkward silence. Love your videos, Tripp!!
