#1 mistake I made is texting with her too much. Even when she is the one who keeps initiating throughout the day, keep it brief and exciting but don't show her you want to text her all day. Keep in contact with her but don't text everyday even if she shows a lot of interest because she will lose it.

Good vid, good tips. But a little update from a guy in his early 20s. No one texts people using SMS these days, its really outdated. I do not know about other generations but people my age stopped texting using sms 4-5 years ago. It is only done in emergency situations when a person does not have access to mobile data or wifi atm. Honestly, it is even considered to be weird when someone asks for a persons phone number. Texting via messenger or instagram is the new thing and a better thing due to multiple reasons such as the ability to send visuals(pics, gifs, photos) and ability to see her pictures, story highlights which can be helpful when trying to think of a convo starter better than "hey" right after getting her ig. Bottom line, sms is a thing of the past and i think it is where it belongs unless ur target audience are guys in their 40s-50s who do not understand tech

Tripp, what to do, when you agreed to meet up, but its like a week from here, do you just stop/decrease your texts? Its somewhat weird to go from “getting interest on dating app with texting” to agreeing to meet and stop the texts.

Might be a regional thing, but from where i am from SMS texting is way dead, maybe using if internet connection is lost.
My question to you trip, is what if you have moved your conversations to either FaceTime, a zoom call, or another form such as Skype considering at least the days and time you cannot physically meet up.

I think with texting on whatsapp there is nothing wrong, because you need the number anyway to text on whatsapp. SMS comes of as lame and outdated imo.

The only thing about this that is insanely stupid is the aversion to whatsapp. Texting might be a US thing, but I checked and I've not looked at my Imessages//Texts in so long I have over 200 unread chats (more unread individual messages) - I don't think people in the rest of the world use texts. Definitely not in the UK or Europe. If you're "texting" girls in Europe or UK you'll be seen as really weird, creepy and old.

respectfully disagree with point 3. Building attraction over texting is very much possible. just don't be available all the time, if possible text at night after 12 when a person is most vulnerable, trigger her emotions, flirt, make her laugh. She'll be hooked and addicted

Seems that texting is a lot more personal than social media. Which means it adds more pressure to the woman.
I think women are drawn to mystery. When you text a girl with unintentional or uncertain motives I feel it turns her off.
An example is I met a girl at work, we chatted for a bit (some very light flirting), she ended up asking me to follow her instagram. I waited a day, looked her up, followed her. Waited another day, and sent her a DM that said this. “Let’s hang out sometime.”

It's ridiculous to tell people to text only on texting apps but not on a damn phone. Makes no sense. Hell, there are some guys who lead busy lives who only REMEMBER a woman once in a while, or who travel, who still want to keep a number 'warm' while they lead a busy damn life. Makes no sense to just ditch a # just because the guy can't get with the woman straight away, or to be a needy bitch and say 'I'm going travelling for 3 months but why don't we get together when I get back'. Depends on one’s location and age, etc. Most fun thing I’ve done is watching the same movie and texting occasionally notes laughter etc. and doing a phone call after. Additionally, doing a phone call over a a few drinks and texting funny memes. Maybe this stuff will mess up the future ? It’s working fun for now.
