Thank you all for being here ❤ I just realized Quentin and I had been in a car together before, when we hitchhiked back to Los Arcos on Day 7 😆 How do you cope with the Camino blues? They still hit me hard after I got home, but this trip definitely softened the blow 💙
I love Porto. My 2 eldest daughters were born there, in Trindade & my eldest lives there now. Actually, close to one of the bars you were drinking outside, near a small park. 🎉
Seems to me that there is no better place to maintain old and build new friendships than being in a place where everyone is sure to be happy.....Porto is definitely one of those places 😀. Great video!
@@StefanieHurtado Great idea. I spent 2 weeks learning Spanish in Guatemala and was so depressed to return home. Loved your Walking through Fire video, especially as a solo woman.
Well said.. we need that transition. Did Porto to Santiago last May, and going back for Camino Frances in a few weeks :) The Camino definitely has that "pull."
...this video showed up at the top of my youtube list this morning, and I assumed its probably the one about you walking with your mom in October... then realizing, its your last camino blues one - 5 days in Porto... as I loved it so much on first view, I just watched it again... its so happy, almost dream-like, as if of a better, more congenial world, than we're in... also the song playing (...I'm coming home...) adds to that - a true deep sense of 'home-coming'... 💖 Wishing you a wonderful, magical 2024, Stefanie 🌈
Stephanie, your Camino film is truly beautiful, the best I've seen without a doubt! I'm glad you enjoyed my city (I'm from Porto). I'm actually going on the Portuguese Camino next month :) Santiago de Compostela holds a very special place in my heart because I used to live there (went to university there). Some of the best years of my life
That’s so sweet, thank you!!! How exciting to take off from your own city to such a special place for you 🥹 I hope you have an amazing time! 💖 Buen Camino! ✨
Funny you ask, I’m actually going back in September!! 😭🥳 I’ll make a proper video to discuss it this week 🤗 I found a pretty last minute flight through Frenchbee for $200 to Paris. I haven’t bought my return yet 🤭 but not too bad, considering the timing!
Nice ! I’ll have to look at fights… I did the Portuguese costal route this past April. Next one will be the one you completed . I look forward to seeing your announcement video.
Hi Kate! Thanks so much 💖 I hope you have the best time!! Buen Camino ✨ The exact camera and SD card I used are linked in my description under My Gear 🤗
Watched your Camino video just before. Lovely film. Portugal- check out Tomar where the Templars built their first HQ in 1160. Estubal south of Lisbon is a lovely industrial city. Love, love, love Portugal Want to do the Camino
Love your Camino videos. I'm doing the Camino de Frances through to Finisterre and would like to spend some time in Porto after. Did you send luggage ahead at the start of your Camino for your Porto trip? what service did you use? thanks for all of your vids, they've been so helpful!
Aw thank you, I'm so glad! 💖I did not send any luggage ahead and only brought what I carried with me everyday. There is a service through Correos (the postal service of Spain) that does daily luggage transfers, OR you can send a whole suitcase or box to Santiago and they will hold it for you in their office for 45 days 🤗 Just google "Correos Paq Peregrino" and their page should come up. Buen Camino! ✨
Hahah thank youuu! Danna, Quentin, Bruno, Marco and Aldo ALL speak Portuguese so I had to try 😅 And I’m going on the Portuguese Camino next-time to start practicing 🥳
Stephanie can one get a pedicure done in a city along the Camino ? My feet will get rough and icky so II’ve heard there are some massage but what about pedicure ?

Love seeing Quentin again!!!!
New fav comment. He's so special! I got to see Quentin in Paris last month before my Camino Portuguese :)
👌Awsome music. Good friends, good times.👍Porto looks amazing.
Thank you!! 🫶🏼
I love this. A realization that separating from your Camino friends must be so difficult. Great music. Sadly not on Spotify.
Thanks so much Mike 🤗 def bittersweet, so grateful!
By the way… the video, music, imageries,… awesome!
Thank you so much! 💙

@@StefanieHurtado ohh! Central.. kinda due to time constraints. Would love to do the Coastal route as well:)
So lovely! I think I definitely want to keep a Camino friends notebook so I can keep in touch with all the people I meet on my Camino next year!
I def recommend getting WhatsApp if you don’t have it already! It’s the best way to keep in touch with everyone from around the world 🤗
Really wonderful film,music and message
Thank you so much Chris! 🤗

Ahhh I only just watched your Camino film a few days ago. It was truly beautiful. I'm ready for this 😊
Yayyy! 💖 Thanks so much Lissy!
I’m ready to go back! If flights were cheaper to Europe from the states I would already be on the Camino :). Great videos ! When you going back ?

Camino Frances starting again at SJPD@@StefanieHurtado
4:25 - no cat was hurt during the making of this video. 🐱
Haha no, the kitty was okay! Being a cat mom, I was super worried and watched until they backed up and were safe 🤗
