@@DJR5280 Needed an o ring on the pick up tube. I went ahead and replaced the water and oil pump when it was out. Only "major" work done besides belts, sensors, etc.
Lifted 4x4 Suburban’s are super hot right now with the Overlanding camping crowd. Get yourself some Fluid Film and coat the frame to help with the rust. It’s getting harder to find clean 4x4s now.
That's the plan with this one. The rust is pretty minimal beyond the rear bumper and hitch. I'm replacing the hitch on the truck with a Class 5 and running Nicopp brake lines now.
@@jeromeburrasca6710 I'm yet to see any except the SubOverland builds which is what this one will be based off of. Do you have a build on yours? I was gonna keep it simple with keys and 33's.
bruceyyyyy Yup, 7” lift and 35s. Mine is a 2011, doesn’t have keys. You don’t have to cut your front differential for clearance if you go with a 7” or bigger. I wouldn’t recommend going any taller than 7” with rear coil springs.
Most helpful, I needed to know about the bolt that went through the trailer hitch.fram bracket. Thank you!
2:54 thumbs up for the fury road. good video thanks
I would have just gone with a baseline bumper, oh wait that’s 2,500 nvm I would have just made my own the way I want it but that is still badass 👍👍
What in the road warrior is that at 2:56
I love the bluetooth bumper mod
Ya the license plate was structural
@@bruceyyyyy 😂
Great video but man that thing is rusty. My white 05 Z71 has zero rust on the rear bumper after 160k miles.
This one has double those miles and still gaining.
@bruceyyyyy Glad to hear that. Hopefully she has many more miles left. Any engine repairs needed ?

Update your video. Your amazon link doesn't work.
Thanks for the heads up. Fixed now.

bruceyyyyy Cool!! Soo many people are building off-road Suburban’s now it’s awesome! Love these do it all rigs.
Do you have one? I'm mostly a Subaru channel because I own one but I like all brands really.

It must snow salt in your neck of the woods. I’m in upstate New York and have never seen a rustier bumper 😂😂 thanks for the video.
freaky mad max valhalla picture.. i thought i was imagining it.. 😆
My dads 2004 Suburban has at least 370,000 miles and there is absolutely no rust since it is mostly a California car
All you needed was a hammer to remove that bumper lol
Excellent
Man I feel so sorry for you folks that live in salt country. That's insane
