Good video, thanks. I found a short cut on my 2004 tahoe. I just removed the 2 18mm bolts and the 15 mm bolt that connect the frame to the mounting bracket. The bumper slid right off with the brackets still attached. The three nuts were welded on so no wrench needed.
If i cannot access the spare tire/or the hoist mount from the underside of the tahoe will this allow me to access and remove the entire hoist? I have tried all the tricks to lower the tire ive found on youtube and have had no success in even lowering the tire a mm, and its fully hoisted up to the most it can be lifted.... Im trying to remove tire and hoist so i can replace with new updated hoist that wont get stuck. Thank you
