  • I'm installing an AEM wideband air fuel gauge in my car today! I need an oxygen sensor to better tune my carburetor on my 1969 Mustang. In this video we go through step by step as we install the AEM wideband oxygen sensor to get ready to tune.
I ended up welding the oxygen sensor bung to the exhaust on the car since the car never had any sort of oxygen sensor or feedback loop. During the process I learned it is extremely important to have all exhaust leaks sorted out BEFORE starting the install.

Blue and white color gauge wire can be use for both data logging tuning or just the blue for data logging?

The blue is serial data, where the white is 0-5V I believe. If you had a data logger with an analog input you could use that to measure A/F through that if you wanted.
