As a fan of Nicky, I feel bad for Colin. He ended up never winning a single race in MotoGP, and Assen '06 was indeed his best bet. Really hope MotoGP would upload a full race of Assen '06.

@@mark675 At least with 3 to his name, a title was collected. Look at Jack or Miguel now, having like 4 and 5 wins yet never even in the top 3 in the championship. Even Dani had like 31 wins and still, no title. 💀

How was Assen 2007 not mentioned?! That has to be probably one of the, if not the greatest charge through the field in any MotoGP!!

Actually no, he would've missed out by one point (in theory). If Colin won, Hayden would've scored 5 points less (the difference in the end). But at the same time, Rossi also would've finished one place lower in that race and scored one point less here which would've have been missing in the end.
@@hAnD90 In conclusion, even if Edwards won this race, Hayden would still be the world champion (albeit by only a single point).
I remember the first battles of the Motogp era with Rossi,Barros and Gibernau (2002,2003/2004-05) and they were incredible with 7km of track and the race on Saturday. Today it is less fascinating and easier as a route
Im surprised how they didnt have jack millers win. They stopped the race because the rain got that heavy and it of been petrucci first win but then they continued and jack was flying

Tbh Assen has too many iconic moments to count, but my favourites will always be these below:
- Assen 2017 (where a chaotic race saw Rossi get the last laugh and his last ever premier class victory)
- Assen 2018 (This is one of the best races in the MotoGP history, plain and simple)
2013 ie last 10 years TT Assen Rossi win is also Honourable Mention after Yamaha Comeback Win no 80 equal to 4646 tally
So you mention the chaotic race and how Retired Rossi got the last laugh but the people are desperate to know who who got the last laugh in Assen 2018?. But before you announced his name, I think it's mandatory to rise from your seat, stand in a respectful manner with your hand on your chest and say his name loud and clearly while reminiscing all the great heroic deeds he had done for Moto Gp

@@Beau_Rivage Just to remember that when Marc won championship 8 times until 2019 , he has no competitors except finished Jorge and retired 37 years old Vale . In Vale era 2000-2010 , there are more competitive . Vale , Nicky , Casey , young Jorge and Dani , Max , King Kenny .

in Vale's era , there are many great riders . Some of them had won Championship . Vale , Nicky , Casey , young Jorge and Dani , King K , Max . Marc Marquez really luck to live in 2013-2019 ,yet still loose to 35 years old Rossi in 2015

Why you dont show Marquez going strike Rins ON PURPOSE , 1 or 2 laps later , to take his revenge after Rins stroke him NOT ON PURPOSE ? Is it because it was when Marquez had time to lose in a race to do such maneuver because he had the best bike by far and he cant do that any more when his bike isnt the best ? 😂

People may hate me for that, but... Rossi should have been relegated to second place in 2015. He clearly had made up his mind that if Marquez came up the inside he would shortcut the chicane. Real disgrace in my view!
Yep and Marquez should relegated at last place in 2015 due to his special dumb action , lean on another pilot to break his bike and make fall another pilot , so Rossi retrieved fairly his first place 😂
