Falta una de Marc vs Lorenzo que gana Lorenzo en la línea. No recuerdo donde pero esa fue épica, esperaba que estuviera en el video! Y las de Dovi y Marc hubo una en Japón bajo la lluvia que para mí fue mejor que las dos que pusieron en el top.
Lorenzo vs Rossi in Catalunya and Stoner vs Rossi at Laguna Seca are probably the 2 most iconic ever MotoGP moments, but to me Oliveira's last corner double overtake is one of the finest moments in all forms of motorsports.
The commentary in catalunya 09 was legendary
The fact that Stoner crashed and still finish second is just unbelievable, both Stoner and Rossi gave everything they had on their fight for win, Rossi knows his bike can't compete the speed of Ducati, so he just trying to pull every bit of strings to overtake him on every corner.
That Oliviera win on Tech3 KTM at Styria will be one of the most iconic moments. Decided at the last turn. I remember seeing the race live and just lost it when Oliviera crossed the line P1. Unbelievable stuff.
I went berserk, my neighbours came to my door asking if everything was OK. 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Schwantz vs Rainey Hockenheim '91!!! Possibly, the most legendary braking of all time. There wasn't no one like Schwantz, when it comes to braking, no one. (Alex Barros was also very good)

Damn, I miss those days. Lorenzo vs Rossi, Marquez vs Rossi and Marquez vs Dovi. It was amazing that i got to watch them battle it out live on TV. I hope in the near future, Marquez will be able to sort out problems with honda and probably fight for the title upfront with Pecco

Rossi vs Marquez Sepang 2015 was the single most intense battle ever....absolutely insane
regardless of the drama that happened between them, the overtake in sepang is one of the best

For me the battles of the greatest rivalry, Rainey vs Schwantz always memorable, when pure skills over the wild iron horse and the unforgotable rossi vs lorenzo catalunya 2009 from start to finish was crazy !!!
Lorenzo vs Pedrosa, Brno 2012 was epic too
Roberts V Sheene was epic, Schwantz V Rainey was fantastic, Rossi V Stoner was legendary but Rossi V Lorenzo is platinum MotoGP

Watching MotoGP since childhood, I was 7 when Rossi beats Stoner in Laguna Seca. Remember that race like it was yesterday. Great performance all those years by all of them :-)

No doubt today's MotoGP riders are legendary in their own way - but they do have advantages of high technology on their side.
But just look at those guys who rode 300 kmph machines in the 1970s and 80s as well as early 90s! Just wowwww!
Those old bikes had none of the techno-trickery of today's bikes! No rider assists - nothing...Those old bikes used to be referred to as "unrideables"! And yet these heroes rode them to the limits! The acceleration of 2-stroke bikes used to be very sudden and fierce - very tough to control!! So, people who had those close battles in the 2-stroke era were definitely something!
This is not to dismiss the great competition provided by today's riders - they are super hard working - no doubt...

Stoner was really bitter about that Laguna race. Yeah Rossi was racing tough but they both were, the race was still on after Rossi cut the corkscrew and pushed Stoner wide... the truth is Stoner crapped the bed that day. He was missing the apex on that final turn a few time then it happened. He was lucky that it was a low speed spill in the relatively soft gravel so that none of the leavers and pegs broke off and that it was only inches away from the tarmac, which meant that he could still finish second (comfortably).

Yeah, for me it's my all time favorite next to Catalunya 2009, just pure and raw talent, both of them gave everything they had just for win, Stoner with the power of the Ducati on the straight line, and Rossi with cornering speed with that M1. And my God, that feet manuever of Rossi on the first turn 1 of Catalunya Gran Prix was if not, the most beautiful overtake I have ever seen on MotoGP
What about Styrian GP 2020, Silverstone 2019, Estoril 2006, Austria 2021, Argentina 2018, Brno 2012

Funnily, one of the greatest riders of all time - Mick Doohan - is not in these battles - because he used to be so far ahead of everyone else at the end - that it almost created a threat to the survival of MotoGP itself because for almost 5+ years, it felt like he was in his own zone and everybody fought only for the 2nd place!! That chap always came through irrespective of his qualifying position back in those days!!

When you realized that the battles between Dovi and Marc are so intense and brutal to the point that they have to put at least two of them into this video.
Yeah, fighting the prime version of Marc wasn't an easy job, every battle between him and Marc always so intense to the points, Dovi always know that Marc weakness is on the last lap, on the last very corner, poor guy didn't have enough luck to win a championship
@@tsanirisfanfadillah1977 Agreed, Dovi's consistency, his spirited challenge over a prime Marc Marquez for the race win and his status being an underrated rider (at least when compared to riders like Marc, Rossi and Lorenzo) is what I like Dovi in the first place.
And yeah, imagine if his luck wasn't that bad he might capture a single MotoGP world title or two.

This list could be all Rossi to be fair.
It's the 2015 Assen TT. And it's Not Even Close. You did have 28 All-Time Battles to choose from in Rossi's Career just counting ones he won. But the 2015 Assen TT was the ONLY Time you get 2 Potential GOAT's, one in his prime, the other still just Barely in their prime, to go head to head in a race tat will Define their status against each other. And AS WELL, a Last Corner Pass. HOW ANYONE could say this wasn't the greatest race in MotoGP History, and maybe the Most Important and Greatest Race in Motorsports History, honestly, is beyond me.
