Awesome Noraly you are a legend. You get access to places very few people would and the enthusiasm of those showing you and teaching you is remarkable. Thank you beautiful and keep making these wonderful videos teaching your fans and the whole world what humanity means.
I remember visiting Assen for the 1980 TT Grand Prix. My wife and I stayed at the EuroMotel in Groningen, with many of the riders and teams. We then rode into the circuit on my Suzuki GS1000 and after parking, with tens of thousands of others, we sat on the Struben Tribune bend and saw Mike Hailwood do some demo laps, on the 297cc Honda six. That sound!!!! We were mad keen Barry Sheene fans but his Yamaha packed up, after less than 20 laps. I do remember that second place was Valentino Rossi's Dad, Graziano Rossi, but the Dutch went home happy after Jack Middleburg won. A great experience.
Noraly is truly unstoppable. Not even the Covid lockdowns can keep her from making awesome videos. She went from being locked down in Peru to getting herself back to The Netherlands, where she gave her TH-cam viewers a tour of her native country. And then on to Northern Europe including Iceland and the northernmost tip of Norway. And now she’s doing a whole new series on racetracks and the motorbike racing community. She has one of the most original and most inventive channels on TH-cam. 👍🏽
1) There is nothing "wrong" with her bike. 2) What tyres would you recommend for the wet track condition? I think she is still riding Pirelli MT 90's, while not the "best" my guess is that for the wet track they may be better than high end dry race tires, yes there are special "wet" race tires that may be better, but the track guy said that the bike they prepared for her did not have "wet" tires in it.
Not even close to season one when she squeezed between a truck and the bank of a raging river on the Iran-Afghanistan border. The road was mostly potholes and the bank looked like it could collapse at any time.
Awesome! Love how you’re adapting during the pandemic and getting creative. A change up is interesting too! One important thing... THANK YOU for making these videos with captions/subtitles. I’m Deaf, so even this subscriber of yours can enjoy it without feeling excluded... unfortunately not enough you tubers think it’s worth their time. Much appreciated!
@@ItchyBoots Now there's a long job for a rainy week: going back through past series and adding subtitles...;) If you ever get the chance, you must visit the Isle of Man for the TT races, preferably the Classic TT and Manx GP (usually last week in August, first week in September). Absolutely brilliant super-friendly atmosphere, fantastic 'Manx' hospitality and some legendary racing...there's nothing like it anywhere else in the world. I've been to superspeedways in Indianapolis, Daytona, Michigan. But, I've never been riding on the track with a champion, or allowed a private tour of the race control room. Noraly, YOU ROCK! Your adventures range from peril to exhuberance, and you share those experiences with all of us on video. Thank you!
Noraly is an absolute beast - Scared of Nothing !! To get on that wet track in the rain, and follow that Champion rider around those tight turns.. WOW !
Grand video, Mme I.B! Thanks so much. i'm 82 and about 30% disabled by cerebral palsy at birth. Life's been terrific thru education, incredible good friends and family plus good luck past anyone's dreams. Rode bicycles and even a few Harley motorcycles but nothing like your videos :) Attitude and getting up from many, many spills is the key - along with trying not to make the same mistakes twice. Your own attitude speaks to exactly that! Stay well and I look forward to more great vids!!!
Holy Cow! I'm watching this two years after you released it and my hands are sweating! ROFL! I now have two favorite female racers. Valery Thompson, (world record land speed holder), and Itchy Boots! Two of the most awesome women in the world!
What a gentleman! You discussed his challanges, successes and courage and he immediately mentioned "You know it's not Norway, it's not Peru, it's not Alaska..." highlighting your accepting challanges with little hope of support, successes in difficult situations (and FILIMING IT!), and courage in outrageous circumstances. He mentioned his corporate sponsorship, years of training and all types of support; pointing out your success despite having no support crew, following behind with spare tires, emergency tools and other rescouces. Your skills may not be tailor made for a race track, but have surely served you well for what you have achieved.
This goes to show how flexible you are as a motovlogger -- from world traveler to geology teacher to cultural sherpa and now ... track racer! One a side note, last week I had a patient who recognized my last name as Norwegian. Turns out, he's from Lofoten, Norway and saw your episodes on your travels there! He's in digital advertising and was aware of your burgeoning viewership. All that said, I now have a standing invitation to stay at his family cabin if/when I get to Norway ... all because of Itchy Boots!
Why would they do this for our Noraly? Because on race day they have 105,000 spectators and Itchy Boots has 600,000 subscribers (most of whom have a motorcycle-Jones and want to do what she is doing)!! Keep it upright Noraly!! "If you don't get scared, you aren't pushing hard enough!" Mario Andretti
From the mines of Peru to the racetracks of the Netherlands... so very impressed Noraly! As a tall man without a bike license, I had sweaty feet just watching you ride in the rain on that track at (relatively) high speeds. Well done - I am in awe!
What a special privilege. To ride the most historic bike track in the world with an amazing instructor, and no one else on track! Shame it was so wet. I reckon you did really well. 150 kph on a 500cc road bike in awful weather is pretty impressive. Great series from Assen, thank you Noraly.

Noraly, happy Second Anniversary of being the BEST UTUBER starting on the 22 of November 2018 with your Teaser video. Also congratulations on over 600k subscribers in two years. Cannot wait to see what has transpired by your third anniversary. Keep on with the world famous "Let's GO".
I am super impressed, a tour of the facility, the facility manager, the event director and then private tuition with the resident racing legend on a closed circuit. How did you pull that off? What a blast and what an experience! Thoroughly enjoyed that and I think I held my breath for most of the 23:30.
I first went to Assen TT in 1966, the year the IOM races was cancelled. The race control was a green wooden hut type building. The course was longer and perhaps more difficult. The riders bathroom facilities were so disgusting a number of very well know riders decided to improve them. They somehow got destroyed during the night !!. The temporary replacements were much better ! The racing was good, all the top teams were there, Agostini, Redman, Hailwood, Ivy and so on. The locals made us so welcome. Hell looking at this cannot believe how it's changed for the better. It was just a public roadway then mostly. Saturday was race day, Saturday night in the town was memorable. Thank you Assen for the memories.
@@steveellis5854 Sorry Steve, getting old mate, memory about worn out !. Did they have the TT and the Manx GP that year ? A month apart ? . I know we was booked for the TT but the ferries went on strike I think and we had some quick reorganising to do . Went on my genuine BSA Rocket Gold Star Clubmans and then on to the Belgian at Spa. Damned magneto packed up coming home, had to leave it as no spares available. Went back a week later and fixed it and rode it home ?. Great memories.
Wow. Just wow. What an unbelievable experience. I was smiling from ear to ear just watching this, so god knows what it felt like for you. Hats off to Assen for allowing you access to everything and to you for organising it. Well done 👍
I liked this video a lot. It gave rare insight into TT and GP racing in the Netherlands which has a strong tradition among other European countries. England has its Brands Hatch and other countries its famous tracks. Its a sport that unites people of various countries who share a love of motorcycle racing. We have our share of tracks on the international circuit here in the US. It's great that the Eastern European countries of the former Soviet Block now are free to be part of the world's racing circuits. The Isle of Man and its 'man', Joey Dunlop, and other great racers like Barry, make the sport as exciting as it is. It's a 'flip side' of touring.
You never let us down... Oh what a brilliant vid this was. Never mind the rain, I was with you every rpm of this journey. I hope Valli gets to see it. I'm sure he would be proud of you. It's no wonder that you now have 600K+ Subs.. I have to watch it again right now to follow all what was said in the subtitles.. Brilliant. Thankyou
That showed real guts on your part. Can’t believe you did that in such terrible weather . What a real Gentleman he was . Clearly the Netherlands is full of very polite women , men and young people . Can’t wait to visit one day ❤️.
You are so brave to take those corners at that speed in the wet without very soft mix tyres! Your technique at the corners got better as you lapped, but mostly taking the turn too early. The thing I love most about Noraly as vlogger is that she talks to the person in front of her properly, not like other youtube vloggers who keep on staring on the camera while talking to others.
Thank you Noraly that was Epic. I work in a Honda Motorcycle Shop in Vancouver Canada. Many riders from around the World stop by for Service. Mostly Africa Twins on the way to and from Alaska. My Parts Manager Lori and I often chat about your exploits. Thank you for sharing. Stay safe!
Looks almost as scary as a cliffside water crossing. But waaay more fun! Barry is such a gentleman. Today I had one of my toughest days of 2020 so far and you made me smile when I didn't think I could. Thank you 🌻
@@dedwin8930 the other option of turning back was even riskier. She took the better of only two options. It's obvious by her riding decisions that she knows her own limits, when it's time to say no, when it's time to turn back and when it isn't the time to turn back.
153 km/h on a wet race track and high accelerate out of each curve as a non professional race driver .... my greatest respekt to you Girl. You nailed it. Please keep going to do this videos every monday. You’re us given alternative was a brilliant idea from you. 👍👍💪🏍🚀
You done an amazing and awesome ride on the wet TT Assen race track, You can never have enough of advance rider training skills, there is always time to refresh what you know and to learn new skills. Once again so proud of you and your videos, you are a very brave woman. Well done Norlay... Cheers from Australia...
Nail biting suspense and thrill. I can feel every scary turn. My nerves are on edge seeing the wet tracks then Noraly speeding up. I keep on looking at the spedo as if I am the one riding. What a ride Noraly! Wheeew!!!
As if we needed more surprises... you come and go race with a CB500X in Assen in the rain! You are one special person, Noraly. Congratulations on your success :)
Oh Noraly, you are so fantastic. 600k subscribers is amazing and I’m sure it is because of your upbeat personality and willingness to put yourself out there for us to enjoy. Thanks for all your hard work, it is really paying off. Best wishes
That was fantastic, I was clenching my coffee cup and the tv remote watching! What a great episode to see where and how the track works. TO ITCHY BOOTS GOES THE SILVER!
Admire your courage and commitment riding at those speeds and in those conditions, and how you enjoyed yourself so much! I always like your positive and optimistic thoughts too, thanks!
My 1st GP was in Assen 1979. Wil Hartog racing against Barry Sheen and King Kenny Roberts! The Dutch went crazy for Wil! A memory I will always cherish! I rode my BSA 650 Lightning there and back. The roads home were packed with people on the over passes, just watching the thousands of motorcycles leaving the track.
I could tell that was a special thing for you even though it was raining. I felt the same way riding my motorcycle on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for a charity event. These aren't just any old stretches of asphalt. So much history; triumph and tragedy, happened right where you're riding. It's an incredible experience.
What i like the most about you is the way you enjoy your rides alone, by yourself. I admire and respect that very much. That's the right way to do it, and the way I do it...but flying. I home builder and a pilot. Thanks for those beautiful videos.
what a great behind the scenes look at how it all works,Dutch people are so worldly, down to earth open frame of mind luv it, Hans Hummel my high school mate best buddy, RIP
Wow, what an honor to have the whole track for yourself to ride, and with a professional escort. I had the opportunity to watch races there a couple times, but I didn’t own a motorcycle when I lived in the Netherlands, so I went to the races by car, with friends. Can’t imagine the thrill to ride around the Cathedral. Well done, Noraly. Cheers from Brazil.
Wow Woman, you are a wonder! you rode so well I thought, for your first time racing on a track bravo. Bravo! I am so glad you got to have this experience, and Your enthusiasm was catching.
“The Pearl of The Netherlands”, well said. I can almost guarantee you, there is nothing cooler than that experience anywhere from Peru to Alaska. What a cool track, management, and instructor! 👍👍
When i was in my teenage years i went to the races many times. I lived close to the circuit and on friday night we went into town and then straight through to the races with a terrible hangover. Sleep all day in the sun and go home without seeing anything from the races itself. Aaaah memories.
Itchy: What a great idea to video laps around the Tourist Trophy Closed course right there in Assen while the WEC practices it's lock down on us. That track may not be as prestigious as Mugello, but it's pretty far up there. I'd recon it to be like Daytona International during Bike Week in the States. It's very impressive that you were "allowed" to take Ronin out there and "roll that power on." That little twin can really pack a punch if handled right and a track like that can swallow that punch right up. It's too bad it rained, but it's all good! ben/ michigan
Thank you, Noraly! I ride motorcycle since 39 years and i've never been on a race track. Your last 2 videos with their unique and exciting race track atmosphere and your racing lessons inspired me to book a German ADAC all-inclusive lessons package at the Nürburgring race track next spring with my Honda all-rounder, designed to improve the general riding skills and especially curve techniques! Thank you for giving me this idea to widen my motorcycle horizon!!!
Noraly, Always remember that your life is an adventure, as it should be. Those things that you experience on the edge (meaning those things that you experience while you challenge yourself), will always be the things that you remember as being the best times of your life. Always reach out an embrace those new challenges, always strive to grow and be more. Life is not something to approach with caution, but to face head on. I love your spirit. I love your videos. Keep your shiny side up and your rubber side down and God bless. J.H. Parker
Itchy Boots on the starting line at Assen! I have been extremely impressed by your continually advancing moto-skills as you travelled the world. With this video, all of that has doubled. So great to get your narration and perspective on your first road race track session. As a former club racer, I must warn you: motorcycle racing is highly addictive! I predict we will see more of this activity on your channel. 10 out of 10 on this video, just fantastic!
It was a ride. I felt like my years were gone. I went back to my youth, when my Polish motorcycle was the WSK-175 in 1975-1980. Thank you for a great ride and best regards.
Apexing a turn is doing your best to straighten it out. Go in wide cut to the apex (inside) and while getting on the throttle slide out wide again. It gets more difficult when a double apex turn is thrown in. It is surprising the grip level even on a wet track. Because it is not a roadway with cars and trucks you don't have the grease and oils laid down like on a city road.
At least you managed to stay upright and on the track, while others before you, have slipped and slid off into the gravel and finished their races in somewhat of a disgrace, having to walk back to the pits. So well done Ronin you kept your lines and helped Noraly achieve her first achievement .
Another really interesting and informative ride with you, Noraly. No matter what the weather throws at you, you take it in your stride. I really look forward to Mondays now. Please take care and stay safe.
Neale, below said it very well...you are an intrepid spirit and quick learner. Being Dutch myself I very much appreciate you taking us around Holland. I think I want to go back at least for a visit. Thanks so much for sharing this episode but also the previous one with your parents. I was living in Breda as a child during the big flood in 1953 but it hardly touched Breda.
I was there in 1969 to see the races. Fabulous especially the noise and smell really hit your senses. One of the highlights was seeing smaller bikes such as Kreidler I believe they were known as and the speed they achieved. The races with sidecars were most impressive as well. Stay safe and greetings from Western Canada 🇨🇦..
This is turning into a fab series again! So proud of this track, watched all the greats from the 70's n 80's live here, Barry Sheene (mad version of Veneman ;-) , Jumpin'Jack, Boet, Will, Streuer&Schnieders, so much amazing history. Thanks for the modern-day peek behind the scenes and turning it into a track day for us Itchi Boots fans :-D

A world class track, world class "instructor" just outstanding . Thank you for this track day rain or shine a great day at the track. Bravo! Thanks for the "ride" from cold Minnesota.
A great pity about the weather but you have ridden in worse conditions than that. Loved the fact that you really put Ronin through his paces. Ride safe, stay safe and ..............'Keep the knees in the breeze'

One aspect of riding is the ability to go fast with the bike. And the only place to experience that (unless breaking the law) is on a race track. Unlucky about the rain, on the other hand doing it when it is slippery is experience well needed for coming trips. Looked like you really had fun there, and made a great video for us to watch. The thing I love most about Noraly as vlogger is that she talks to the person in front of her properly, not like other youtube vloggers who keep on staring on the camera while talking to others.
Great video. It was wonderful to see how nice and accommodating they were of you.
The road to fame: Noraly helps define it. The Honda sounds good spinning fast. Excellent riding in the wet.
Thank you 🌻
Water crossing could have ended it all! That was a poor decision ....
Hang in there Leosia. Dwell on the positives.
d lorton Ah I see a down voter in your attitude.
@@lhollybow thank you. And good advice ✌🏽
Wheeew!!!
Itchy: "Com'on, Ronin, let's have a race in the rain!"
Ronin: "I will survive....I will survive...."
😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂
As if we needed more surprises... you come and go race with a CB500X in Assen in the rain!
You are one special person, Noraly. Congratulations on your success :)
Oh Noraly, you are so fantastic. 600k subscribers is amazing and I’m sure it is because of your upbeat personality and willingness to put yourself out there for us to enjoy. Thanks for all your hard work, it is really paying off. Best wishes
Awesome to have my first track day ever...Thanks for taking me along
That was fantastic, I was clenching my coffee cup and the tv remote watching! What a great episode to see where and how the track works. TO ITCHY BOOTS GOES THE SILVER!
Thanks for this video, Noraly!! Very super race. TT Assen
Great experience for you. Thank you for the video
Fantastic video, rain and all. I was leaning in to the curves and smiling all the while. Well done!
I'd be terrified at those speeds in the rain. Chapeau to you for conquering your fear! The coach is an amazing rider. Amazing.
I think you did very well, learning to race and in the Wet! God Bless You!
Noraly, Great video !! 😊❤👌👌
Get well as fast as possibile !! Be healthy again! (... sad end of S7 )
Strange thing to hear Noraly shout out my name on the track... "Go Rossi..." I'm sure this is a quite unique experience ;-) You made my day again.
What a stunning video Noraly! Makes me long back for the track, really miss it......
So much fun. Even in the rain. You are brave. Thanks Noraly. If you ever make it to Arizona, you can ride dry and warm and incredible landscapes.
Noraly,
Always remember that your life is an adventure, as it should be.
Absolutely amazing, can only imagine how that must have been !
Yes, nothing to add. ONLY: strong Rain on an Adventure Bike on Assen Race track.👍👍👍👍 BR Stefan
Even in the rain Assen is a very grippy circuit if you dare
Great wisdoms in the talk from Barry at 20:00; here is kudos to Noraly for getting that and doing the perfect editing, absolutely no filler… ❤
Great to see Assen and you taking on new challenges, really loving the new stuff. Still watching the previous episodes too. Inspiring stuff!!
Each time I see one of your videos, you are more awesome than the previous! Can we all say" Awesomer !!!???????
At least you managed to stay upright and on the track, while others before you, have slipped and slid off into the gravel and finished their races in somewhat of a disgrace, having to walk back to the pits. So well done Ronin you kept your lines and helped Noraly achieve her first achievement .
A great watch. Well done you.
I love it when Noraly says "A little bit".I don't know why.❤️❤️😂
Tsamina mina, eh eh
Waka waka, eh eh
Tsamina mina zangalewa
This time for Africa😂
What a lucky lucky, very lucky woman to have Assen all to yourself basically. And despite the weather you stayed upright, well done
It made me grip onto my computer chair when you missed the apex of that left hand bend.. :)
yep, me too. Serious pucker factor there....
15:45. Every rider knows that feeling.
Zo leuk daar rijden! Ik ben er vorige maand geweest tijdens de riding days georganiseerd door de KNMV en heb tevens mogen rijden met Barry Venema!! Top ervaring, droog weer en tegen de 200km/u op de teller 😨
A world class track, world class "instructor" just outstanding . Thank you for this track day rain or shine a great day at the track. Bravo! Thanks for the "ride" from cold Minnesota.
Great shot watching the Triumph wheelie away!
Itchy Boots transition from a Packhorse to a Thoroughbred 😀👍
A great pity about the weather but you have ridden in worse conditions than that. Loved the fact that you really put Ronin through his paces. Ride safe, stay safe and ..............'Keep the knees in the breeze'
Wonderful video! You do such a great editing job!!! Now get some more scarfs in stock, I want one!
Noraly, I am so very Proud and Happy for you. You did a super fine job! Have a bodacious day my friend. You never cease to amaze me with your fortitude. Chuck, Life biker 50+yrs -still riding at 68. Stay true to yourself, enjoy our allotted time.
Absolutely brilliant I live in Scotland where the TH-cam content from from you tubers is boring and predictable from the bike scene . Your content is brilliant and interesting and your passion shines through keep it up
One aspect of riding is the ability to go fast with the bike. And the only place to experience that (unless breaking the law) is on a race track. Unlucky about the rain, on the other hand doing it when it is slippery is experience well needed for coming trips. Looked like you really had fun there, and made a great video for us to watch. Thanks for that, and for this great channel.
