Grand video, Mme I.B! Thanks so much. i'm 82 and about 30% disabled by cerebral palsy at birth. Life's been terrific thru education, incredible good friends and family plus good luck past anyone's dreams. Your own attitude speaks to exactly that! Stay well and I look forward to more great vids!!!
I remember visiting Assen for the 1980 TT Grand Prix. My wife and I stayed at the EuroMotel in Groningen, with many of the riders and teams. We then rode into the circuit on my Suzuki GS1000 and after parking, with tens of thousands of others, we sat on the Struben Tribune bend and saw Mike Hailwood do some demo laps, on the 297cc Honda six. That sound!!!! We were mad keen Barry Sheene fans but his Yamaha packed up, after less than 20 laps. I do remember that second place was Valentino Rossi's Dad, Graziano Rossi, but the Dutch went home happy after Jack Middleburg won. A great experience.

I first went to Assen TT in 1966, the year the IOM races was cancelled. The race control was a green wooden hut type building. The course was longer and perhaps more difficult. The riders bathroom facilities were so disgusting a number of very well know riders decided to improve them. They somehow got destroyed during the night !!. The temporary replacements were much better ! The racing was good, all the top teams were there, Agostini, Redman, Hailwood, Ivy and so on. The locals made us so welcome. Hell looking at this cannot believe how it's changed for the better. It was just a public roadway then mostly. Saturday was race day, Saturday night in the town was memorable. Thank you Assen for the memories.

Noraly, happy Second Anniversary of being the BEST UTUBER starting on the 22 of November 2018 with your Teaser video. Also congratulations on over 600k subscribers in two years. Cannot wait to see what has transpired by your third anniversary. Keep on with the world famous "Let's GO".
Itchy Boots on the starting line at Assen! I have been extremely impressed by your continually advancing moto-skills as you travelled the world. With this video, all of that has doubled. So great to get your narration and perspective on your first road race track session. As a former club racer, I must warn you: motorcycle racing is highly addictive! I predict we will see more of this activity on your channel. 10 out of 10 on this video, just fantastic!
Er zijn genoeg presentator op de Nederland TV en op het internet die niet zo spontaan zijn als dat jij dat bent. Je bent een geboren presentatrice. Topper 🌹🌹
You never let us down... Oh what a brilliant vid this was. Never mind the rain, I was with you every rpm of this journey. I hope Valli gets to see it. I'm sure he would be proud of you. It's no wonder that you now have 600K+ Subs.. I have to watch it again right now to follow all what was said in the subtitles.. Brilliant. Thankyou
Nail biting suspense and thrill. I can feel every scary turn. My nerves are on edge seeing the wet tracks then Noraly speeding up. I keep on looking at the spedo as if I am the one riding. What a ride Noraly! Wheeew!!!
I am super impressed, a tour of the facility, the facility manager, the event director and then private tuition with the resident racing legend on a closed circuit. How did you pull that off? What a blast and what an experience! Thoroughly enjoyed that and I think I held my breath for most of the 23:30.
I liked this video a lot. It gave rare insight into TT and GP racing in the Netherlands which has a strong tradition among other European countries. England has its Brands Hatch and other countries its famous tracks. Its a sport that unites people of various countries who share a love of motorcycle racing. We have our share of tracks on the international circuit here in the US. It's great that the Eastern European countries of the former Soviet Block now are free to be part of the world's racing circuits. The Isle of Man and its 'man', Joey Dunlop, and other great racers like Barry, make the sport as exciting as it is. It's a 'flip side' of touring.
Looks almost as scary as a cliffside water crossing. But waaay more fun! Barry is such a gentleman. Today I had one of my toughest days of 2020 so far and you made me smile when I didn't think I could. Thank you 🌻
@@dedwin8930 the other option of turning back was even riskier. She took the better of only two options. It's obvious by her riding decisions that she knows her own limits, when it's time to say no, when it's time to turn back and when it isn't the time to turn back.
153 km/h on a wet race track and high accelerate out of each curve as a non professional race driver .... my greatest respekt to you Girl. You nailed it. Please keep going to do this videos every monday. You’re us given alternative was a brilliant idea from you. 👍👍💪🏍🚀
“The Pearl of The Netherlands”, well said. I can almost guarantee you, there is nothing cooler than that experience anywhere from Peru to Alaska. What a cool track, management, and instructor! 👍👍
Noraly, Always remember that your life is an adventure, as it should be. Those things that you experience on the edge (meaning those things that you experience while you challenge yourself), will always be the things that you remember as being the best times of your life. Always reach out an embrace those new challenges, always strive to grow and be more. Life is not something to approach with caution, but to face head on. I love your spirit. I love your videos. Keep your shiny side up and your rubber side down and God bless. J.H. Parker
You done an amazing and awesome ride on the wet TT Assen race track, You can never have enough of advance rider training skills, there is always time to refresh what you know and to learn new skills. Once again so proud of you and your videos, you are a very brave woman. Well done Norlay... Cheers from Australia...
As if we needed more surprises... you come and go race with a CB500X in Assen in the rain! You are one special person, Noraly. Congratulations on your success :)
Wow, what an honor to have the whole track for yourself to ride, and with a professional escort. I had the opportunity to watch races there a couple times, but I didn’t own a motorcycle when I lived in the Netherlands, so I went to the races by car, with friends. Can’t imagine the thrill to ride around the Cathedral. Well done, Noraly. Cheers from Brazil.
What i like the most about you is the way you enjoy your rides alone, by yourself. I admire and respect that very much. That's the right way to do it, and the way I do it...but flying. I home builder and a pilot. Thanks for those beautiful videos.
Thank you, Noraly! I ride motorcycle since 39 years and i've never been on a race track. Your last 2 videos with their unique and exciting race track atmosphere and your racing lessons inspired me to book a German ADAC all-inclusive lessons package at the Nürburgring race track next spring with my Honda all-rounder, designed to improve the general riding skills and especially curve techniques! Thank you for giving me this idea to widen my motorcycle horizon!!!
Oh Noraly, you are so fantastic. 600k subscribers is amazing and I’m sure it is because of your upbeat personality and willingness to put yourself out there for us to enjoy. Thanks for all your hard work, it is really paying off. Best wishes
Why would they do this for our Noraly? Because on race day they have 105,000 spectators and Itchy Boots has 600,000 subscribers (most of whom have a motorcycle-Jones and want to do what she is doing)!! Keep it upright Noraly!! That was fantastic, I was clenching my coffee cup and the tv remote watching! What a great episode to see where and how the track works. TO ITCHY BOOTS GOES THE SILVER!
I could tell that was a special thing for you even though it was raining. I felt the same way riding my motorcycle on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for a charity event. These aren't just any old stretches of asphalt. So much history; triumph and tragedy, happened right where you're riding. It's an incredible experience.
what a great behind the scenes look at how it all works,Dutch people are so worldly, down to earth open frame of mind luv it, Hans Hummel my high school mate best buddy, RIP

Hi Noraly. I am Spanish. I am 60 and ride a Triumph Bonneville T100 carb 2005. I follow you from the first days of confinment and every day I enjoy 2 chapters of your interesting and amazing world wide adventure journeys. I am in love with motorbikes and in love with world travelling and you help me a lot combining both mainly at this times. I went to a motorbike training course this year , it was in a race circuit as Assen and it was raining heavily all through, so your video reminded me a lot that day. I suggest everybody to go to a motorbike course, even if they think they know how to ride. Thanks Noraly . And go on.......
Admire your courage and commitment riding at those speeds and in those conditions, and how you enjoyed yourself so much! I always like your positive and optimistic thoughts too, thanks!
Thank you Noraly that was Epic. I work in a Honda Motorcycle Shop in Vancouver Canada. Many riders from around the World stop by for Service. Mostly Africa Twins on the way to and from Alaska. My Parts Manager Lori and I often chat about your exploits. Thank you for sharing. Stay safe!
Wow Woman, you are a wonder! you rode so well I thought, for your first time racing on a track bravo. Bravo! I am so glad you got to have this experience, and Your enthusiasm was catching.
Neale, below said it very well...you are an intrepid spirit and quick learner. Being Dutch myself I very much appreciate you taking us around Holland. I think I want to go back at least for a visit. Thanks so much for sharing this episode but also the previous one with your parents. I was living in Breda as a child during the big flood in 1953 but it hardly touched Breda.
It was a ride. I felt like my years were gone. I went back to my youth, when my Polish motorcycle was the WSK-175 in 1975-1980. Thank you for a great ride and best regards.
Noraly, I am so very Proud and Happy for you. You did a super fine job! Have a bodacious day my friend. You never cease to amaze me with your fortitude. Chuck, Life biker 50+yrs -still riding at 68. Stay true to yourself, enjoy our allotted time.
A world class track, world class "instructor" just outstanding . Thank you for this track day rain or shine a great day at the track. Bravo! Thanks for the "ride" from cold Minnesota.
Oh, last night I seen a video you posted of an epic road between Pakistan and Afghanistan, just wow...I'll admit youtube was on auto play and I was in bed falling asleep, I'm surprised you watch Itchy! lol, I'll subscribe to you now as it would be good to see more. :)
This is turning into a fab series again! So proud of this track, watched all the greats from the 70's n 80's live here, Barry Sheene (mad version of Veneman ;-) , Jumpin'Jack, Boet, Will, Streuer&Schnieders, so much amazing history. Thanks for the modern-day peek behind the scenes and turning it into a track day for us Itchi Boots fans :-D
You are so brave to take those corners at that speed in the wet without very soft mix tyres! Your technique at the corners got better as you lapped, but mostly taking the turn too early. In using the full width of track, later into a corner can enable a faster out! Love the Dutch for Isle of Man - sounds like 'Izal of men'
I was there in 1969 to see the races. Fabulous especially the noise and smell really hit your senses. One of the highlights was seeing smaller bikes such as Kreidler I believe they were known as and the speed they achieved. The races with sidecars were most impressive as well. Stay safe and greetings from Western Canada 🇨🇦..
In this world of uncertainty we've been amazingly blessed to be with Noraly on her journey...a journey that shows us not only the joy of motorcycling and adventure, but the overwhelming warmth of folks everywhere.
Another really interesting and informative ride with you, Noraly. No matter what the weather throws at you, you take it in your stride. I really look forward to Mondays now. Please take care and stay safe.
Greetings from Wisconsin u.s.a , I have been following your adventures for the last week or so. You are amazing in the fact you are able to navigate such desolate and harsh roads, often not much more than off road trials. And, the views and scenery is absolutely beautiful. The track experience at assen was interesting. As a longtime motorcycle rider and Motorsports fan, I can tell from numerous comments that many people commenting are non or very beginning riders. Phrases such as " coach" or " instructor" kinda gives that away. The fact is you were riding with a god, someone of such pedigree ( former WSB( world super bike) world champion ) is normally reserved for more elite riders already fairly advanced riding on a circuit. We are talking moto gp level talent. There should have been a huge shout out and kudus to him for taking the time to show you around the track and sharing his knowledge one on one. I have done numerous track days at road America ( current bike Kawasaki zx6r), a beautiful circuit with 3 long straightaways. I remember second track day it rained all day, not hard at first but in afternoon considerably harder. First session after lunch I thought we won't go out in this pouring rain! Wow was I wrong, as our instructor waved our group onto the track. I was second in the group behind the instructor, and I will never forget seeing the rooster tails of water spray 30 feet long coming from behind his rear tire. Although we tipped toed around the corners, much like you did we gassed it hard on the straights just like in the dry. I remember seeing about 252 k.p.h.( about 148 miles per hour) before having to slow down for turn 1. So much fun!!!!!!!!!!I think if you convert k.p.h. to miles per hour you were flirting with around 90 miles an hour, on the straights not bad at all for your adventure bike! There are times watching your videos when you are out in nowhere and I can't help but worry for your safety. But you are so organized ( I wish I was!) and well prepared. Please keep your videos coming and stay safe! Godspeed
Boots you are the best. I am a keen rider, have two bikes, love touring. 6 weeks ago I injured myself and will not be able to get on a bike again for probably a year. A friend introduced me to your channel. You have saved my sanity. I hope you never change Noraly, and I hope you can soon continue your travels. You must be obedience of the best ambassadors adventure motorcycling has ever had! I don't know how you are going to do it given the current circumstances but i really hope you can keep making videos. Cheers, Ian from South Australia
When i was in my teenage years i went to the races many times. I lived close to the circuit and on friday night we went into town and then straight through to the races with a terrible hangover. Sleep all day in the sun and go home without seeing anything from the races itself. Aaaah memories.
One aspect of riding is the ability to go fast with the bike. And the only place to experience that (unless breaking the law) is on a race track. Unlucky about the rain, on the other hand doing it when it is slippery is experience well needed for coming trips. Looked like you really had fun there, and made a great video for us to watch. Thanks for that, and for this great channel.
I'm a long time rider and am jealous. I could see you learning quickly how to judge your line from apex to apex and trying to grab more power from Robin that she didn't have to give. All in all it was fabulous to see you having fun on the track, in the rain! Stay safe and thank you for bringing us along for the ride.
For having Dual Sport(70% on / 30% off road) tires on the bike I am really impressed with the wet weather cornering speeds. It also looked like a great learning experience which also had the rare ability of teaching something potentially dangerous, while still being a highly enjoyable experience overall. Keep up the great work Noraly, I can't wait to see the next vid!
At least you managed to stay upright and on the track, while others before you, have slipped and slid off into the gravel and finished their races in somewhat of a disgrace, having to walk back to the pits. So well done Ronin you kept your lines and helped Noraly achieve her first achievement .
Absolutley best experience for any rider, unregarding kind of bike,or ridingstyle is to go on a proper track whit an experienced rider as a guide, you learn so so much that all riders have proper use of..the more times you ride on a track, the better you will handle the bike and react better on the road - extremely usefull
Good for you Noraly, being a nonbiker I was sitting on the edge of my seat in fear, the main thing is you enjoyed it, and you're gracious enough to take us on the ride as well. a fan from Australia
Assen is my hometown. Not a very special town but a very special circuit and a big part of the Dutch motorcycle culture. Loved seeing it this way, awesome video 👌. Just got my license a few month back and I can't wait to start riding. You keep doing what you're doing cause this is awesome content.
Some day you should go to the Isle of Man TT race. Going for the forth time this year and it is an unbelievable experience! The Mount Everest of motorcycle road racing. "TT racers.....so astronauts have someone to look up to."
I bet you hold the record for fastest lap on a CB500X in all of the Netherlands 😋. Even with all of the rain and clouds the footage turned out great, looking forward to next Monday!

Hey Boots, congratulations on coming in second...nothing to be ashamed of! Thank you for sharing this experience with us...I needed a pick-me-up today! Stay safe and healthy and as always, see you in the next video! ❤️
You should feel proud of yourself. Assen has always been considered a real "Rider's Circuit", meaning skill can often win over outright horsepower. And doing it in the rain as well! What a great opportunity for you. Ask any top international rider what their favourite tracks are, Assen will always be mentioned. Glad you were able to bring us along.

Noraly, Great video !! 😊❤👌👌
Get well as fast as possibile !! Be healthy again! (... sad end of S7 )
I have started to love Monday afternoon. always a great entertainment.Itchy Boots what a woman!
Absolutely amazing, can only imagine how that must have been !
Yes, nothing to add. ONLY: strong Rain on an Adventure Bike on Assen Race track.👍👍👍👍 BR Stefan
Even in the rain Assen is a very grippy circuit if you dare
Normally I hate Mondays 😂, but now I got something to look forward to on mondays. Keep the videos coming ❤️❤️

Brilliant. Thankyou
Noraly, You are an Absolute Delight! This Old man will be watching Your Exploits until I Pass On!
Life is like a box of chocolates. With Noraly‘s TH-cam, you know that every episode is a real good one. Cheers from Hamburg, Juergen
Hi Ms Boots, I’m watching this 3 years after & wow, very brave & strong sweet lady. Stay safe my dear 🙏🕉️🥰
You have gained such loyal subscribers who would watch an hour of you just riding on a flat highway! This content is pure GOLD 😍
Thank you 🌻
Water crossing could have ended it all! That was a poor decision ....
Hang in there Leosia. Dwell on the positives.
d lorton Ah I see a down voter in your attitude.
@@lhollybow thank you. And good advice ✌🏽
Noraly,
Always remember that your life is an adventure, as it should be.

"If you don't get scared, you aren't pushing hard enough!" Mario Andretti
Exactly, these 600,000 are not just any one they are people who enjoy motorcycles, travel and adventure it makes their advertising value high.
In these hard times everybody tries to help the others. Some day it will pay back in large amounts. I hope so!
That was fantastic, I was clenching my coffee cup and the tv remote watching! What a great episode to see where and how the track works. TO ITCHY BOOTS GOES THE SILVER!
Itchy: "Com'on, Ronin, let's have a race in the rain!"
Ronin: "I will survive....I will survive...."

Assen TT - The cathedral of speed
Thks 4 taking us on a lap Noraly .What an .awesome experience . 👌
That showed real guts on your part. Can’t believe you did that in such terrible weather .
What a real Gentleman he was . Clearly the Netherlands is full of very polite women , men and young people . Can’t wait to visit one day ❤️.
Stay safe!
I'd be terrified at those speeds in the rain. Chapeau to you for conquering your fear! The coach is an amazing rider. Amazing.
Wow Woman, you are a wonder! you rode so well I thought, for your first time racing on a track bravo. Bravo! I am so glad you got to have this experience, and Your enthusiasm was catching.
The road to fame: Noraly helps define it. The Honda sounds good spinning fast. Excellent riding in the wet.
Holy smokes Noraly!!, I am totally jealous of you young lady!!!!..espectacular video!...cuidate!
Track days make you a better daily driver. Super addictive too.

I LOVE it...."we have rossi, followed by marquez, here comes boots !" I LOL'd for 5 minutes straight ! Noraly....adventurer, racer, comedian ! :)
Strange thing to hear Noraly shout out my name on the track... "Go Rossi..." I'm sure this is a quite unique experience ;-) You made my day again.
I think you did very well, learning to race and in the Wet! God Bless You!
So much fun. Even in the rain. You are brave. Thanks Noraly. If you ever make it to Arizona, you can ride dry and warm and incredible landscapes.
Brilliant, fantastic, super awesome , what ells to say WOW ....
Danke 🙏 für dieses spannende Video. Deine Erlebnisse, deine Organisationen sind wirklich mega.🤗
Godspeed
Great to see Assen and you taking on new challenges, really loving the new stuff. Still watching the previous episodes too. Inspiring stuff!!
Fantastic video, rain and all. I was leaning in to the curves and smiling all the while. Well done!
It made me grip onto my computer chair when you missed the apex of that left hand bend.. :)
yep, me too. Serious pucker factor there....
15:45. Every rider knows that feeling.
I love it when Noraly says "A little bit".I don't know why.❤️❤️😂
Tsamina mina, eh eh
Waka waka, eh eh

Noraly: once when I was young, I raced on the TT.
Neighborhood kids : yeah right!
What an awesome memorable video. Yet another one for the archives.
Thank you for sharing.
