    I've tried over and over to convince my boyfriend to stand up when he gets a calf cramp, and he insists on holding his leg up in the air and massaging it instead. He always ends up with a sore leg. I finally quit trying. Let the idiot suffer.

    All I learned from this is that symptoms for dehydration are every known ailment documented in the observable universe.

    • @toasterofdoom9629
      @toasterofdoom9629 3 ปีที่แล้ว +15

      I mean, yeah, because literally every system in your body requires water to function efficiently. Every. Single. Bodily process. works more efficiently when well-hydrated.

    • @gnarthdarkanen7464
      @gnarthdarkanen7464 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The legitimately logical conclusion (take away?) should then be "rehydrate at top priority" before you jump to consider any other likely reason for your symptoms... It shouldn't take too long to try it, and if it doesn't work, you're no worse for the "home remedy" attempt. When it does work, you've avoided wasting money and time on doctors who weren't necessary. ;o)

    If your mouth burn from eating spicy food; close your mouth for a while (like 30 seconds), it will hurts as hell but the burning sensation should be milder (?), Do this for like 2-3 times and it should be gone. Im not sure is this going to work or not but it surely works for me.

    • @AshesAshes44
      @AshesAshes44 3 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      I feel the same and resisted for ages. A nice walk, at your preferred speed and time, location, is enough to see an improvement though. It's more about moving. Heck, pruning rose bushes is enough for me to feel better and get a bit of vitamin d.

    • @Davtwan
      @Davtwan 3 ปีที่แล้ว +19

      Eclipsinq - Avoid intense exercises then. Just focus on moving and breathing. Short walks, gentle biking, laying down to stretch, and other stuff like this will help you feel better rather than ending up feeling like you’re out of breath. You don’t need to lift weights or run to get the effects of dopamine and endorphins.
      Don’t worry about how long you exercise either. Even if you’re just going for a walk around the block, it’ll make a small but welcoming difference.

    • @connorofbells

      Always stretch before and after your workout to get more blood flow, especially to the parts of your body that you are going to work out. You should also know your limits and don’t push yourself too hard.

    When I am in physical pain. I find that focusing directly on feeling that pain, numb it's effect. But trying to run from it mentally only intensifies such effect. Also to add. Exercising to build more endurance goes alot smoother in a chilled environment. As the cold reduces friction stress over the body allowing the muscle and joints to continue. Avoiding breaking down and inducing full rest stop periods. Another thing. Drinking only water, I can get away with eating what ever sugar or calories I want. As long as I follow this procedure with getting enough sleep as well. Then most of all the access waste gets filtered out over my body sleep and empties out when I wake up to pee. It's just how I do.

    I have acid reflux in the mornings. Just eating something gets rid of it. Breakfast is a requirement for me, because if I don't eat breakfast, I feel very nauseous. Then after it gets to a point of no return, I feel like I'm about to throw up at any point, and because of this I don't want to eat, but then I'm hungry, but then I know that if I eat I'll throw up. But if I don't eat I'll also throw up. Like I said, there's a certain time that when it goes past it its a point of no return, and puking is imminent

    well if you kinda knock on your chest (a little aggressively don't just tap) really quickly after you know you fucked up, you can stop the pain almost instantly by doing that. just don't beat the shit out of your chest.

      The light rays that pass the middle of a lens will be bent less, than the light from the edges of a lens. So in the middle the error of your eye lens doesn't really affect the light a lot. The pinhole removes all light that would fall onto the edge of your lens.

      That's because it's a mental placebo. What really happened is the person was using cigarettes as an emotional crutch, and they replaced the habit with a different one. It's possible they were only emotionally addicted and did not yet have a dependence on the nicotine yet, but even if they did have that, it is still possible to trick your mind into replacing one habit with another.
      Definitely isn't easy though, and it probably wouldn't have worked if they were actively trying to do that.

    I’m watching this laying in bed because I can’t sleep because I’m so nauseous and like a few minutes ago my mouth filled with saliva and I spit it out and I feel less nauseous now.
    I literally had no clue that that first one was a thing and I feel like it’s so odd that I see it LIKE RIGHT AFTER IT BASICALLY HAPPENED TO ME idk that’s wild

    0:04 I actually figured this out when I was 10, just from experience. Now when I feel nauseous I wait 10-15 minutes. If my mouth isn't salivating by then, I'll assume I'm not going to throw up and prepare for the virus/nauseous to bludgeon my intestines. 🤢

    better brain freeze hack: after making sure your thumb is clean, press it against the roof of your mouth. you can rub your hands together first if your hands are cold or to increase effectiveness. it doesn't taste very good, but it does work a lot better, especially since your tongue is probably already cold if you've got a brain freeze.

    Coloidal silver cures bacterial, viral and fungal infections.
    Doctors used to use it but after anti biotics/virals it went away.
    I use it for strep, ear infections, stomach issues, colds and flu for my whole family and me. Told friends about it and they have been shocked at it's effectiveness.

    what makes it funnier is the fact that I'm a pale af artist who sits in front of a computer all day, thus I can joke that I'm some kind of vampire or nocturnal gremlin
    the only time it's not fun is when I have to cross the street or exit a store into a parking lot, and I feel a sneeze come on

    When I have brainfreeze I usually just rub at my nose like a dog kind of. The bone part. When I'm alone in my room of course. It helps until it goes away. Same effect as when you rub at a bruise or scratch to make it stop hurting.

    This one isn't useful at all but it's pretty cool: practice crossing your eyes and keeping them in that position, so you should see two images. Try to stare at one of the images - I find it easier to look at the left - while still keeping your eyes crossed, and Voila! You can move one eye independently!

    For hiccups. Put a butter knife handle up in a standard glass (or cup) half full with water. Raise the glass up and place a flat side of the handle on the middle of your forehead in a way that makes it possible for you to drink the water. The knife should be diagonal and the tip of it should be at at the bottom of the glass at the point where the bottom and side meet. Drink the entire glass and done. Hiccups are gone. A coworker showed me this and I have no clue how it works but it does. Every. Single. Time.

    But my personal favorite solution that works every time is rubbing peanut butter on the roof of my mouth nd using my tongue to lick it off
