It's a riff that tells the viewer Scott Tracy and his brothers will be back next week to perform more heroic deeds. Very much 'getting things done' music
As others have said, the fantastic coda during the glamour shot of the Rolls Royce is just superb. One of the only times Barry Gray really gets the percussion sections to just lay into it. The syncopation is such a classic finishing touch.
Thanks, It sure brings back memories, I remember quietly sneaking out of my bedroom at 6am here in Australia to watch this on the old black and white tv about 45 years ago!
1:08 music makes International Rescue seem super official and commands much respect from everybody. Like the whole Tracy family just received medals from all the leaders of the world and are now posing for a serious picture..just my take on it..😉
I credit this show specifically for being the Government Scientist I am today... It's funny how the Anderson shows influenced my life so much... I wish the Department of Homeland Security, NASA, FEMA and NRL would team up and take direction from these series! ;)
I always prefered the ending credits than the opening. The pullback shot of the vehicles w/ grey's music still send shiver down my spine. federalnutter, you're sooo right--that jet is wonderful. Let's face it--Gerry was the best at this stuff!
I remember when I was a little kid my parents got some kind of big huge mail order catalogue -- maybe the Sears Catalogue that had a toy section, and every year they'd advertise these amazingly cool-looking cast metal versions of all the Thunderbirds -- all of them enormously more expensive than I could ever talk my parents into spending, And now, 40 years later, I suspect if I tried to find those same toys as collectibles, they'd probably still be enormously more expensive than I could afford.
In order: the mobile command unit, the lifting body craft, the space rescue vehicle, the yellow submarine, the monitoring station, International Rescue's first mission, the tunneller, Penny's wheels, International Rescue's jurisdiction.
A great, stately theme. Gerry Anderson worked hard but didn't get as much thanks as he should in the TV medium, offered a little more than just a kid-oriented action series. As a boy there was one image I couldn't understand; I thought the grill of Lady Penelope's car was some kind of building!
Great Outro!! But, please, can we do without the "awesomevidoes, org" advertising?? WE just wanna see the Outro and nothing else. Great you posted this, anyway.
There is no doubt Gery Anderson was a genius... with cool shows like UFO and Stingray and that dark Captain Scarlett tv show. Some were a bit silly like that western one but others were good. Todays young kids/adult entertainment on tv is not very appealing. I am just saying.....
Yeah this tv show was awesome!! I wish tv channels around the world would show these tv shows instead of these hyper-violent so-called"modern cartoons",it's strange that broadcasting standards authorities allow hyper-violent modern cartoons to be shown when kids are home from school.
RIP Gerry Anderson. You may have died, but your great work on so many series like Thunderbirds will never been forgotten.
The piece at mark 1:09 is SO MAJESTIC; causing goosebumps!😮😮
1:09
If you have saved a life you have lived up to the Thunderbirds credo.
The rousing part at 1:06 with the front of the Rolls Royce: best bit. Truly amazing ending. I'd use that in a sample. Wicked tune.
It's a riff that tells the viewer Scott Tracy and his brothers will be back next week to perform more heroic deeds. Very much 'getting things done' music
Thunderbird 2 was always my favourite. It was the most important vehicle that International Rescue had!! Beast of a craft.
Thunderbird 3 is my favourite. I love of how it’s my favourite colour, Bright Red, and it is a big cool space Rocket.
The music when the rolls royce appears is the best bit of it
My late mum loved that bit aswell
Always loved that bit
should have lasted longer as well
Thunderbird 8
It actually took me years to realize that it was FAB 1 in that shot.
As others have said, the fantastic coda during the glamour shot of the Rolls Royce is just superb. One of the only times Barry Gray really gets the percussion sections to just lay into it. The syncopation is such a classic finishing touch.

Amazing show! Truly beautiful😊
A true genius not forgetting barry gray

Wrong the best part is the end credits and when the mole machine appears the beat becomes hard and passionate.
lool I get you
Last 20 seconds are totally boss
When kids shows are as good as the grow ups shows FAB !!! Get it !!
Thunderbirds in the USA, nothing gets better than that!!! 🇺🇸😂🤣
Play this for Minneapolis, Minnesota & the USA!!! HELP US IN AMERICA!!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸

What is it about the music from 1:08 that stil sounds so great...
Great memories of growing up as a kid in the sixties.
Thats Shane Rimmer an American Actor who did Scott Tracy's voice . He was in "The People that Time Forgot" with Patrick Wayne & Doug McClure.
I love the violin at 16 seconds
I loved the Fireflash, but I wouldn't want to fly on one! It kept crashing! =P
Really like this end theme. It has power. Barry Gray really captured the strength of the Thunderbirds.
thunderbird 5 was always my favorite featuring john tracy.Great closing music Big fan of the show.
TB2 is my favorite!!!!! 😂
Beyond awesome
Excellent video! Brings back memories!
It's My Birthday Today. Thanks Mate. X
Awesome theme
thunderbirds is my favorite serie
and always gonna be
AMAZING , MASTERPIECE !
Absolutely love that
This would more than likely fall under MGM's ownership today.
RIP, Shane "Scott Tracy" Rimmer. (Shane played the coach in the original "Rollerball.")

aka. Thunderbird 1, Thunderbird 2, Thunderbird 3, Thunderbird 4, Thunderbird 5, Fireflash, The Mole, FAB 1, and Earth.
“International Rescue’s jurisdiction”, ha.
Yeah! Fireflash was the best! A great outro, the end credits were goosebumpy-ing!
Love it
This should be the new US national anthem, yes I am American & I live in the USA!!!! 🇺🇸😂

@Cpt50Caliber Disney did NOT produce a live-action film adaptation of "Thunderbirds", it was Universal Pictures that did it.
Fireflash is my favourite vehicle from Thunderbirds!
TB2 is my favorite
the plane at 0:47 is sooo coool
That airplane is called Fireflash
lol Thunderbird 2. If it were a spacecraft alright, but in real life that would be a nightmare to get airborne.
Great Outro!! But, please, can we do without the "awesomevidoes, org" advertising?? WE just wanna see the Outro and nothing else. Great you posted this, anyway.
It's posted elsewhere-- Thunderbirds End Credits"
memories
「科学万能の時代」を感じさせる力強さ、たまらんっす・・・(´・ω・`)
Thunderbirds
Also...Thunderbird 4

What is TB1 post to be?! 🤔Is it an airplane rocket thing?? 🤔😂🤣
@federalnutter So true. We need a real life Fireflash! Someone start a fund! I would...but I'm a lazy cow.
Ao fim da apresentação da Mola, aparece a frente do Rolls Royce, com o "Espírito do Êxtase" em destauqe!
Yeah this tv show was awesome!!

I hate how they zoomed out of the pictures in the end credits!
@BambisaurusRex Love it!! TB2 /sodamncool!/
TIL the Rolls Royce isn't an air hangar
@dondonp12004
Oh ok....it still sucked :P
