Thanks for showing my village! Guzelyurt is the Turkish name. In Greek the village is called "kalvari" or "Karvali". My grandparents came to Greece in 1924 from there and they created from zero a new village called "Nea karvali" (new Karvali). Good job Gabriel! You are a hero, needs a lot of courage to go into these caves alone..quite scary...

Guzelyurt is the latest name, it was "Gelveri" before , most likely villagers' pronunciation of Kalvari

    Gabriel:
It is time to move out of the caves of Turkey and do a question and answer with your viewers!
I suspect that many of your readers are fascinated with your travels and life on the road and learning the back story. If I met you in person I would have a thousand questions and I suspect what you would say would be fascinating.
My suggestion is to encourage your viewers to give you questions and you would spend some of your videos answering them.
To get things started here are just a few of my questions:
    1) How do you decide where to stay when you are traveling? Do you have a budget? As you get older are you more bothered by noise, a hard mattress, dirt, and grime, or just a creepy location? As your viewership grows do you feel like you can start staying in nicer hotels and stop staying in hostels?
    2) How do you decide where you are going next? Now that you covered the Balkins and Turkey and the weather is getting cold, how did you decide what places you wanted to visit next?
    3) Why don't you go to more places in Latin America? I hear Americans can now go to Brazil and Costa Rica? If you are not planning a trip there in the next few months, why not?
(I could come up with many more questions. Thanks!)

I’m still in Montréal, my trip to Crete it’s still on hold from March ..here in Montréal 2nd quarantine plus today November 20, 20 our prime minister Trudeau said to stay home and we see in to early 2021 .. Greece is in a mess with the government and issues with Turkey ... I’m on my 1st month retirement.. your videos series on Turkey are awesome.. Greece are in a lockdown and the people are fractured government don’t care plus is 2021 all home owners even if they payed off their house now have to pay rent for the next 12 years. One way to pay off the loans ... check Greece before you take your next trip there .. ..I do enjoy your videos ..take care ..

Obviously Greeks were living there before this population exchange with Turkey..
You show places, which I personally will never see myself, so I m happy to discover them through your eyes, although I ve visited Cappadocia twice, years ago...but didn't explore the way you do...Anyways fascinating layers of cultures...in the wild
    far east 😀
As I understand, you left Turkey...I wonder what s your next destination..maybe South America with warm weather, beaches ...and relaxing conditions..
if some countries are open over there ..
Best regards from Paris 👋 waiting for new explorations !

But which caveman wouldn't want to live in all those natural caves? Probably had underground water pools too. One day they will do digs and see that I am correct.

The place is far from the centrum. How the my could manage? We have homeless people but they like collecting trash and garbage etc. they need to stay close to the centrums. Also sleeping at forests and abandoned historical places are forbidden and the government will cut you bill. Before this, the villagers of Cappadocia are very traditional & strictly old minded and won't let the homeless people be in peace there. Their life is also managed by truism and they can't afford to fill the places with the homeless and scare the tourists. They will simple create trouble to them after they find out or hear a rumour that a homeless lives there. Also homeless people won't stay there because if anything strange happens in the village they will think it was the homeless who committed the crime.
