Thanks for this video. I am still messing around with my 109. Been trying to figure out how to remove steering wheel as there is a lot of slop in the column and the steering itself. No luck yet getting it off. Keep posting.
@@seanteacherman2385 I think I remember a guy telling me that he used a bunch of house wire wrapped evenly around the wheel to make a sling and then picked the tractor off the ground by that sling (in a straight pull direction) with a hoist and just waited for it to pop off. He said it worked...
I remember during the service video, you took the gas tank out to grease the steering column, I found out on mine, you can take the bottom plate underneath the column off (4 5/16 bolts I believe) and grease it from there, I think it’s easier than taking the tank out each time.
I’m thinking about buying one of these it’s identical to yours but it’s red it’s got a little rake mower roller and something else I forget it’s $600 is that a cheap price for one of thses?
Red would normally indicate it's part of the x82 series, which is about 15 years newer than this one. I hesitate to say anything about pricing or ownership because these machines can (and are) expensive to maintain and usually everything is worn out on them. If you go into as a hobby then you won't be disappointed.

I've never had the wheel off of one, but I've heard it can be a nightmare. I don't think there's much more to it than pressure and time.
@@TheBrokenLife Thanks again. I will keep at it.
