@ Thanks! I got it cleaned up, adjusted valves, compression checks at 215 each side, and added a rotary broom, and 2 stage snowblower. Came with 48 deck and am restoring a 54 over winter. One will be used with leaf vac, other for mowing all summer as permanent mulcher.
@jd1029 I thought about doing a compression check on this machine but it seems to run fine and nothing makes me think it isn't. Where in MN see you? You seem very knowledgeable about these
I bet the original owner was an elderly gentleman with a name like Charles Van Simmerson the III. I bet he had a super long driveway and a lot of parking at his mansion. Am I close? lol 😆
that is a nice tractor
I have a 2000 445 with 2100 hrs, still runs great. Nice find.
Great to hear, hoping this machine lasts that long!
I know someone who has a brand new 60" mower deck still in the original crate for this tractor (445/455 JD).
@@marvinjackson2641 wow! Where?!

Very nice. I got my 530 hour 445 aws out of MN this year
awesome! I have an AWS myself for mowing and it is a great machine!

@@jqentertainment6966 I am in MI, but had mine shipped from MN. Sorry I am not closer. But if yours runs fine then you should be set!

@@GeorgeBonez He passed away and lived on a farm!!!
Dang I live 30 minutes from Owatonna, I would have bought this all day if I knew. Great find man
Thanks! Just keep looking on craigslist and FB marketplace, you never know what will pop up
get new weather strip for the door don't foam it and put a liner actuator instead of that cable for the chute deflector
@kw900lkevin good idea, the foam idea was just temporary. I'll look into the actuator
@@jqentertainment6966 with all that original paper work did you get the Cozy Cab manual ?
@kw900lkevin yes, I got the cozy cab manual that has every part number for everything. Also have the tractor manual and snowblower manual
