In this wow classic video, we revisit an old gold farm, as there have been some large changes recently. Specifically, this gold farm is now capable of 140 or more gold per hour SOLO making it a great gold farm for those not interested in boosting, or when you don't have buyers! This farm is the DME Lasher Farm

To safely reset hydraspawn, run upstairs to satyr boss (save coc / nova for the stealth mob). When you are upstairs, jump off on your right to the ledge by hydraspawn. Mobs will stop upstairs, not cast, then reset
First of all Rly luv your videos and have been using them a lot!
Think this is the first vid where I might have something to contribute. :D
If you are bad geared or just feel these runs are too inconsistent due to RnG POD’s, resists and Hydrospawn position, I have found that the safest and most consistent way to do these runs (3 packs) is the following
1. When you enter satyr room, go body pull the first pack [09:31] and make sure to “trigger” the 2x POD’s there (theres a pod ind/next to the fireplace), Then Blink to broken pillar and jump up to evade them again.
2. Run past Hydro spawn to get to the third pack of satyrs (while passing Hydrospawn, mark him (skull or whatever you like) this way you can track his position.) [09:52]
[Hydrospawns position shifts between west ->South->East->South->West etc…]
3. When you pass the POD on the left side of the north wall from hydrospawn[09:58], just stick to the wall, then you wont agro the spawns [You can trigger the pod without being in range of agroing the lashers!.]
4. Drink up and get full health
5. When Hydrospawn just went West position pop Ice barrier and drink 1 tick (you can track his movement through the wall because you marked him)
6. Pull the pack with a wand and hug wall again if Lashers spawn. Wait to sec to see if the invis dude to the west is there (if so pull him too).
7. Blink through pack 2, Agro Pack 1 and pop seedling -> Ice block
8. When seedling pops first tick, leave IB and Nova (just like video)
9. Now only use Max Rank CoC to kite them with.
10. Keep CoC kiting and only use Nova in case theres a resis or you somehow lost too much mana and need to Evo.
(The reason for this is that if you nova and one or more resists, you only have Cold snap or ice barrier to let them hit you and kite, if they then poisen slow you, you are kinda screwed (escapeartist or poisen cleanse still possible)plus Flamestrike is very mana consumeing for low geared mages.)
Other than that this lasher farm can be done by the following chars (not as many packs at a time)
Warlocks, Mages, Holy Priests, Elemental/Resto shamans, Paladins (Maybe feral druids)
Next level strat for this, have two accounts with two Mages at 60. And try and push each run to 7minutes. And you can get in 8 lockouts per hour for maximum profits. Depending on how well you can do lashers, you can really cut the time down and maybe have time for 1 or 2 packs of satyrs as well.
i did it, my runs are 5.5 to 6 min, sometimes i do 5 CD on both mages in less than an hour D:

Hey, arl! that second reset spot on top of the pillar, you can actually still get the reset by standing behind it on the thick side, instead of having to jump up.
I haven't stopped doing this run since DME released. Something to note is that first satyr pack the warpwood pod right on top of the satyrs, if its visible then its a safe pod. if its not visible, its going pop lashers. Its the same with any other pods by the satyr packs in that room. Pod locations are always the same spot every run!
Hey buddy, you've confused Whipper Root Tuber from Felwood with Runn Tum Tubers, and Dark Runes with Demonic Runes. Runn Tum Tubers are used for 10 int food, not the health restoration thing. Great video regardless!

Few things i like to do:
Every other pull i'll do the three pack satyrs cause i can avoid the damage using a thornling seed (for the two pack you can usually just tank the damage using barrier +gnome racial to avoid being slowed).
Using the instance lockout if i notice i have 5+ min before i can reset again i jump up on the pillars where you are at on 25:44 by jumping on the stone to the left and jumping to the top of the smaller pillar then jumping to right . Putting on mage armor+dampen magic+fire barrier+ice barrier i just mow down the caster satyr using frostbolts, (the imps will stand around evading and watch you basically own the satyr beam battle style). I kill the two caster satyrs closest to the pillar, heal up ice armor+ice barrier+firebarrier then aoe down the imps using frost nova+shatter combo with arcane explosions. The imps can actually drop felcloth and superior mana pots, which in my server go for about a gold.

Quick question - do you think the Satyrs are killable with a Frost/Winter's Chill build?
I m on a low pop server and been doing DME ok and off for the past 1 month, I love it! Not only I find it very easy and relaxing to do, I always get roughly 100-120G x hour (it varies on thr n. of ghost mushrooms x run). Of course I m stacking a lot of living essences for phase 5 release as well.
Happy the farm is treating you well. I've always loved the DME farm. It's just more relaxing than the others, with few things that can go wrong.
The reset pillar in the lasher room. You don't actually have to be on top of it you can just place your face into the side you reset on. Only problem is if they're to close to hit you. Also the back door to dme has an Extra lasher pack and pod(have to jump down and reset big mobs though)
What addon or weakaura do you use to get those ( ) around your mage that tells you your clearcast is up? And same question for that blue vertical bar next to your guy. I'm assuming it's an hp bar for your ice shield. Both are super cool and I've never seen them before.
hello arleus great video, let me give you a tip i use when i farming DM east and i need to reset hydrospawn, you go to the reset position and wait for for him to cast the knockback then use ice block, and hopefully he will reset before you get out of iceblock and cast it again.

haha i too got a hammer of northern wind early in my farming time. Gave it to a shaman guildie who replaced it like 2 levels later with AV 1h mace. Also got a shadowblade.
btw, what is your opinion on using zanzas swiftness potion (20% movement speed increase), for your last zg pull video?
I've found I have enough time if I'm hitting lockout to do the 2 satyr pack pull, and then do the last one as a separate pull. Nice little bonus if the 3 satyr pull ends up being too unforgiving and you've got time to kill.

The full jump run is pretty profitable right now too. Crystals are nearly 100g on my server at least. Got 4 in one run yesterday though so don't expect to see anymore for the next week.

Demonic Runes actually sells for 6silver each to vendor. The pod at the first Demon pack can spawn vines yes, but they are not a problem since they don't slow you through shield, i have done a lot of DME runs and i always do 3-pack pulls, the only time i die is when i get multiple resists in a row, which happens perhaps 1 time per 50 run.
I would actually advise on keeping the food stuff, a stack of it sells for 40 silver each, which is quite OK for 1 bagslot, i usually do 5 runs, have like 10-12 mins left until i can go for another reset and during that time i port back to org and sell/AH then fly back and go again. Im on a PvP server (mograine) but i have never been ganked when running back to DME, no one cares for DM pvp anymore, and only kills you if they are there to go for a run.

hey arleus, jsyk that lasher spawn in the satyr room that u said disables pulling the 3rd pack actually doesnt pull if u hard hug the right wall, u can slip right by them and they wont aggro. Can also solo hellcallers by getting on top of pillar in the back of room, theres a 3 jump to get up there, only casters can target u, imps are too short ranged

From my personal experience. I've done lashers tons on priest. If you got aegis of preservation (I think) you Can pull 3-4 packs safely. More difficult to handle not pulling any patrols however.
I've been farming this place for a long time, got 2 freezing brands from the lashers, all dropped from the group at the southwest corner.
The lashes that spawn from that last bulb 100% can be pulled separate. There is 1 imp that Pat's in a small area and you just need to pull them when he walks away a little.

It's a bit server related. I've done it on my server for 75g/h, even with blue item drops.

My first run is a quick lasher run to get the id reset timer started. From than on I finish the ids with the lasher packs.
Can you do the Satyrs in arcane spec ya think? Grouping them would be tough without block/barrier but I’m thinking it might be possible though hard
Awesome, this farm was my primary income on my disc priest main back before BWL came out, grinded it like mad to stock on consumes. Wish i could do some of the mage stuff you can do but having an aoe that heal me is pretty nice. I recently showed lashers to a 60 mage guildie saying it would be worth even more gold now with increased herb and living essences prices. those satyr pulls at the end are interesting. i wonder if a mage+warlock farm here killing all 3 bosses could be meta. prob still less total gold than each soloing, but i wonder.
What about pulling the 2 stealh satyrs with the rest of the pack? I do that myself and it works very well. Keep up the videos!
It's worth mentioning that you absolutely can turn demonic runes into gold via crafting felcloth gloves. It may vary server to server, but I make a ton of money crafting felcloth gloves with the runes I get from DME
You can farm these lashers and books also as priest and reflect paladin. I was lucky enough to get myself a freezing band :)
Arlaeus, Elemental Eearth farm in Mara is 150-200 gold per hour (more if you have engineering and alchemy alts)

OGH Squad. Whats the addon that allows you to have templates for talents?
Whats the addon you use to track your Gold per hour and the one that prompts your loot n value?
Priests need a minimum of 6k mana to do this with Holy Nova spam, preferably 6.5k or more, but that's not hard to get if you watch out for high Int gear like the Dungeon sets (Necropile>Magister>Devout) while questing or getting prebis. Don't worry about +DMG, it's all about Int for base mana pool and then maybe some Hit, Crit or Stam. When you reach 6.5k mana you can double pull packs with a pre pull shield, then Power Infusion (PI) and Inner Focus in quick succession once they're stacked.
To stack two packs pull the first pack at range, then melee pull the 2nd pack, and once both packs are close jump past the first pack you pulled and backpedal-kite them back the way you came (but NOT across where patrols run).
On my route I double pull the North-West pack, then single pull the one just South of it, then skip to the very South (after drinking under the friendly giant) and PI is then ready to double pull the two South packs. I then single pull the last pack on the West side, skip up to the North-East while picking any herbs I missed along the way, then double pull the last two packs on the East side.
After this you have time to check the Hydro area (South-East door) for lightly guarded Ghost Mushrooms; the single Satyr are soloable, and if you walk past Hydro through the right (East) side of his pool while heading north there's one Mushroom spawn on the East wall and another on the platform through the North-East corridor. If you find you have time you need to kill after all that you can clean up the solo Satyr, or if you have Engineering use Invisibility Trinket to skip the Satyr packs to the South-East of Hydro and grab herbs in the room above on runs where you notice there's a lot up there.
Final notes from personal experience and way too many wipes:
- Bring a few lvl 35+ HP & Mana Pots for emergencies; Dwarf or Human also recommended for Desperate Prayer and Stoneform.
- Always have Inner Fire buff up to start the pull, but don't bother to reapply mid-pull; Shadow Protection is also nice because the Lashers will do the odd Shadow DMG attack.
- Moving up to the next safe spot before you drink is more efficient than drinking right away and then running around with full mana.
- Bring a LOT (6 stacks or so) of water, but asides from that only bring a Hearthstone and what you need to use for the run, since bag slots = more income per trip.
- You will die while figuring out pathing and safe spots, but there's a surprising amount of them once you do!
- Don't get greedy on dodging Treant patrols as you move, and mind both theirs and the Lashers' paths when you pull, since they can chain each other.
- Always expect the seed pods to be hostile; put a shield up first, be ready to dispel yourself, and be above 6k mana before you get close. I like to assume they'll spawn adds, and I approach them while I'm pulling packs for a shot at extra loot. It even works on the double pulls, but it's risky; you'll need to double shield and probably pop everything else defensive (save Thornlings for these 2 1/2 pulls). If in doubt on that then abort and split it into two pulls.
- Unlike Mages, when it comes to herbs that are "guarded" by large Lashers I'd recommend just skipping them - the big flowers do too much damage to solo, and even with a 15 minute CD Thornling taunt you're more often than not going to get yourself killed if you try to grab the herb and run.
- Eye of the Beast and Mark of the Chosen are great trinkets to grab/keep for this, but as long as you have the base 6.5k mana anything works there.
And of course, Stay Safe! :-)
I never stopped doing this run on my Paladin. Super easy and fun! Only problem is I need to have enough time available to make going to Feralas worth it

Do you have any special way to avoid getting resists?
Stop getting shit RNG. you're hit capped from talents to these dudes, so you should be fine. You see him also getting resists, which he sometimes deals with by nading the one that resisted. I'm not engineering, so what i do, is i move, but i let the guy proc the ice armor slow, then i blink to the other side of the slowed pack, and wait for the resist dude to catch up to the main group, that is timeable to when CoC comes off cooldown, and i nail em with that, then wait like 3 seconds, nova, another shatter burst.
Is the addon thats showing the price on herbs you loot in the middle of your screen lootappraiser, or farmlog? I want to have that feature, but cant seem to find it. Anyone?

When lashers spawn from the pod near hydrospawn, you wanne hug the pillar, Dont run next to the pillar just walk into the pillar and foward. That way you dont pull aggro from them. When you pull the Satyr pack you do it again and you wont pull.

I think the main reason for the price increase of Dreamfoil and Groms Blood is the lower price on Black Lotus. Now more players play with Flasks --> more Groms Blood and Dreamfoil needed.

@@drafman1 warriors will want iceblade hacker as it does a static amount of frost dmg per hit and rogues will want faster weapons like daggers that have an on hit frost effect. The amount of dmg the effect does and the dmg from the weapon doesnt matter, just the amount of frost hits that viscidous takes.
@@Sevem7m in vanilla the +frost dmg on Iceblade Hacker *did not work* on Viscidus. They had trouble coding flat +elemental dmg and it acted as melee dmg. Procs still worked as spell dmg. Remains to be seen when PTRs come out if Iceblade Hacker works or not in classic, probably not unless blizz specifically recoded for that. Hammer of the Northern Winds has the best proc rate of all the melee weapons with frost procs (classic.wowhead.com/weapons?filter=237;4;0)

Antok the rogue version the take all the herbs and chests including upstairs so they get lots of greens blues out the chest and a lot more ghost mushrooms then they go our reset and do the run backwards, pretty interesting TH-cam it 😊

Hi.Good video, but i miss one thing and it is what you should do if you do not have a 2nd account. You used the 2nd account to reset but majority of the players do not have double accounts or can find people to help you reset every 8-10 min. Is there anywhere else we should go instead or should we still go this and try to get someone to help reset every time or?

You can reset without another account. Just do this:
1.) Find someone to invite your mage to a group, either guildie (or stand in SW/IF and wait for someone needing a porting and ask them to help after you port them)
2.) Log off mage once in group, log on an alt and have the person invite your alt. Your group will now have your mage, random person, your alt
3.) Helper person can now leave your group so you're grouped with your alt
4.) Do a run on your mage, once finished log off and log on your alt, wait 2 minutes for leader to pass, reset all dungeons, log in your mage and you'll be @ the ent of DM:E with a fresh instance. rinse and repeat
Is this any good for exp at all? or just gold?
I do the same thing - ish(not taking the satyrs). I do go kill the satyr boss that sacrifices though, with my mage - talk with the tree boss and solo the last boss to 50% (on my druid) reset him and mine the veins too.. I can do that in about 17min.. I get through all the lashers, herbs, 2 stealth satyrs, Satyr boss and the last veins.. best run so far been a Glowing brightwood staff and 2 crystals in one run :D

In terms of selling every single item you get through either vendor or AH, it's amazing. Personally though I use this farm as not only a gold farm but as a farm for mats to the consumables I use. You get a massive influx of Dreamfoil which is needed in most recipes aswell as Gromsblood. Then there's also Ghost Mushrooms which are great money.
What I'm trying to say is that this farm is extremely viable and versatile. You can use it for both for making and saving gold which makes it one of the best out there.

You can always block on a reset spot so you dont get kncoked by Hydrospawn

IDK why but everytime i iceblock and frost nova in the beginning pull theres always one or two that resist and im talented correctly i dont get it .-.

The times that the pods seem to do nothing they actually give you a little mana back. If you're already at full mana it effectively did nothing though lol.
i got a glowing brightwood staff from lashers along with some other random epics like hammer of the northern wind. Its going for about 150g on AH right now because of viscidus in AQ

Love these guides but I’m not a mage main. It would be helpful if you give a rough estimate for minimum mana/health/sp for this farm to be efficient or doable.
The resetspot shown in the video (by the satyrs) does NOT work reliably for female ud. You will have more luck getting on top of the pillar by jumping towards the lower end of the pillar right at the edge.
keep Hammer of Northern Wind it might go for more when AQ40 comes out

@110:40 you show a reset spot on the second pillar, you can actually reset on the ground as well at that pillar. specifically on the wide end (base) behind the shrub that is there if you hug it at about the center point you can evade. This works for every mob/pack and can LOS hydrospawn if you are fast enough. you will need to kill the lasher pack that is normally there when you go to leave ( you can make them path all the way around the pillar to do so.

Just a quick note : Hammer of northern wind is not garbage, for the love of god dont vendor it. It is used in AQ for Viscidus , actually bis there for melee. Sold 1 for 180g today.
How much would you guys say you'd be missing out on if you didnt have herbing? IE. If you made 100g per hour, how much of that was the herbs you had to pick?

@@BumkinCaffeine there is precisely one 1h weapon that has +frost damage on it in the Iceblade Hacker off Ras in Scholo. You say "weapons" (plural) out there, cite any other 1h (there are also 2h, but lawl). That weapon's frost damage *did not work* on Viscidus in vanilla, only time will tell on PTR if it works or not in classic. Plus not all melee can equip it as an axe. Hammer of the Northern Winds has the best frost proc rate, everyone can use it as a mace, and should be using frost oils too.

mana shield and ice barrier before entering the block, and use a dispell aura on the block whilst simultaneously jumping out and nova-ing
11:56 There is even a closer reset spot, lol. When you enter the big room coming from Hydro, the pillar on the right side right next to the entrance is also a reset spot, you can reset Hydro there before he even entered the room.

I've tried my hand at this for well over 5 hours and cannot get the sader packs they resist to much even with a high amount of hit.
my FARMLOG shows me only vendor price for herbs , how fix it ?
I got the first pull down to where i ice block, but I get clapped to death or near death out of ice block
