Hey man pro tip with these small cc engines that use press-fit bearings, I built 3 Rotax 122 engines up till now as i own 2 RS 125. I preheat the cases slightly over the operating temperature (careful with alu) and then use Lighter fluid in cans (liquid butane) to cool the bearings down. Never felt well hitting C4 bearings. Helps if you use 800-1000 grit sand paper to lightly clean the seats and they slide right in! nice little ding too.
@mrsteel9145 hey man thanks for the tip. The problem with the crank bearing was the seal was in there the rest were preheated and tapped to get them fully in the seat. The idea with butane is one im definitiv gonna remember when i rebuild this fucker again😂😂
@@eloymartingarcia442 hey i have a video over @monkeycrafting where you can see for yourself. Done arond 2.5k km on the 36mm smartcarb it costs a pretty buck or better some organd but man was it easy to tune and relayable. Attitude compensation is also woth its money. I have a wideband o2 on it and it keeps it diled
No wonder engine failed with abuse like that . Watching this hurt my mechanic heart lol. As long you dont hit your crank hard with a hammer you should be fine ??? Yikes lol. A hammer should never be used on a crank unless its a copper hammer and you are straightening the crank.
Thanks for uploading the 14 min skill issue compilation :D
See you soon
Hey thanks for the feedback would you like to fight little man😂😘
