    I have been looking at robot vac reviews for a couple of weeks but didn't find any of them showing the information that I was looking for. I came across your videos yesterday and love them. Subscribed!
    Just one thing, could you tell me how you perform the carpet and deep cleaning test. I am looking to buy and my home is 80% carpet.

    Could you do a comparison between the revo and the dreamebot L10 ultra pro? I think they are comparably priced and have similar specifications. I wonder if design tweaks have any measurable impact on overall performance.

    I have the Q Revo and it’s amazing. No complaints from me and I really like the spinning dual mop pad design.

    How well does this mop the edges of the walls? Go to the very edge?

    How does the q revo wet the mop pads? Does it have a water tank?

    As a user who owns the S7 MaxV Ultra, not knowing Q Revo existed before I finally the purchased on s7mvu (w/ dry) on cheapest sale price ($1,060 before tax). I am happy to say as in my home environment of 65% carpet and 35% vinyl stick on floor tiles. Q Revo's dock station is what I wanted, but the performance and features is what I needed on the s7mvu.
    The only cons I can say compared to the Q Revo, is that on the s7mvu ;
    - Cleaning the dock station takes a bit more time to clean, more parts/area to clean.
    - Dumping that dirty water into the toilet is slightly difficult, due to the handle bar and lid design.
    - Vacuum on carpet (mid/high pile) is alright, gets the job done, usably takes x2 or x3 runs for it pick up a piece of cotton/hair (sometimes won't).
    - Obstacle Avoidance on carpet (mid/high pile) became a bit of problem "most of the time" not being able to avoid plastic bags aka "small objects" ( it eats it sometimes).
    - It likes to go very close to some obstacles.
    - Can get very dusty inside the robot's crevice areas, due to the bottom design of the robot.
    Everything else I am really satisfied with the robot s7mvu.
    What I like about the Q Revo compared to the s7mvu (from the looks of it)
    - The simple easy to clean mop tray.
    - The dock includes a built in mop dry.
    - The better designed water bin handle and lid.
    Basically I like the Dock Station of the Q Revo, that's about it.

      Same situation. The handle bar/lid design got fixed in the S8, it is a bit odd on the S7 but at least it is manageable. I do wish they added a distance to obstacle setting as it does get close to obstacles. I do like the mops and base station on the Q Revo more and it does seem very cost/feature efficient, I'd probably get it over the S7 MaxV Ultra if I could choose again. The base station just looks better, more liquid which lets you do deeper mopping, and the built in heater really looks a lot better than the S7 dock+drying. I feel like you're paying more for S7 just for the better obstacle avoidance. Hopefully my pets have an accident and the S7 MaxV Ultra avoids it so that I can say I made a good decision though.

    is it possible to do vacuum only
    with the qrevo ? and if yes, are the mops lifted ?

    • @CordlessVacuumGuide
      @CordlessVacuumGuide  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes it's possible, there's only a vacuum only function with the mops lifted. You can also use the no-go zone to block the robot from going on rugs

    My parents want a robot vac and they have dogs / mom has long hair so I am going to recommend the S7 MaxV Ultra. But the Q Revo had me thinking twice. The hair test really is the difference maker for me.

    Q Revo is amazing. In real world scenarios obstacle avoidance is fine. Kids leave toys and stuff everywhere but it never got stuck so far. Mopping and hoovering is top notch - I just swipe breadcrumbs on the floor after breakfast, press a button and walk away. Spotless every time

      You find the carpet performance acceptable? My home is 80% medium pile carpet. I would like a bot that does a decent enough job to keep clean and I could manually vacuum once a month or so.
      Have you ever found it leaves your carpet wet with the mop? I have seen some reviewers mention this even with the lift function. I have medium pile carpets and a bit concerned about this.

    • @forkeMuffin

      @@imranghafoor7639 to be honest it's hard to tell. I find it decent but in my very limited experience the very old roborock with bristle brushes did make the carpet look fresh a bit better. Maybe S8 series is better in that respect because of dual brush. Unfortunately our Revo started leaking water a few weeks after we got it. I wasn't sure if this is the common issue, but I saw another popular comment on Amazon about having the same issue after a few weeks and I decided to send it back. There was a really good promotion for dreame LS10 ultra. It's their last year's top of the line model which has really good object recognition because of the camera and it cleans the carpet quite well but the moping performance is not as good as Revo.

      @@imranghafoor7639 about the wetness of the carpet. I wouldn't say let's stay would leave it wet. Maybe the edges get into contact a little bit but overall I didn't notice this being a problem
