to throw or not to throw, in a few years I have to bring everything indoors, First all the healthy Thriving Orchids come in, than everybody else, but the sick ,weak or scraggly ones get a good look over, most get thrown away, if it was something that was hard to come by and it looks savable why not give it a chance, I had a two leaf piece and I threw it in a small basket and sat it in the palm trees pot, I gave it no care only water that splashed on it when watering the tree, It the Spring time when I put the plants out it had 4 leaves and lots of Roots, it's a nice little plant now but I don't know what it is now, no tag! your plants look lovely, and I hope the small pieces pull through for you! great video

The slugs caused quite a bit of damage. Hope the dendrobium pulls through. The Phrags are beautiful. The Phragmipedium Carol Kanzer really caught my eye. Thanks for sharing 😊

Autumn is in the air here in Wisconsin. Our evenings and early mornings have a coolness to them along with that crisp autumn smell.

I believe that dendrobium will do well . Moss held plenty of moisture to encourage new roots , isn’t ?Absolutely love Andeans Fire colour ! Wish you a lovely bright Sunday !

I stopped nursing plants too long, if they don't want to grow or keep getting worse I bin them (usually divisions or very young plants)

No shame throwing them out. I've been getting increasingly brutal with binning plants.

Get yourself some slug pellets Ed, perfectly safe within the confines of the greenhouse.
