- It has been requested so many time I have caved and did it. This is a totally biased tier list of all the armies in age of fantasy with a short summary of their strengths and weaknesses.

I was schooled by my wife's Lust Daemon army just the other day.
Not joking - one of her leaders is a school marm succubus.
My army was a Human Empire/Empire of Man alliance. (From the recent Worlds Beyond crowdfunder.) A lot of my points were tied up in my Galleon - which lasted two rounds.
Rigged! Huge Orc Bias! You ate too many squigs and went bonkers on us!
My friend plays Deep Sea Elves and I will say, their shooting vehicles (sea turtle) and magic absolutely have diced both my havoc warriors and my ghosts. It seems they really revolve around mobile hammers and casters supporting key units, which is a very odd but interesting playstyle
As someone who loves bretonnia, chivalrous kingdom is kinda disappointing
Especially the grail knights. I don't care if you up the points value but grail knights should have a better quaility and an extra attack

Totally agree with vampiric undead. Spawning zombies and the rising dead rule for the "normal" zombies are just insane. I like it. 40 zombies right in your face are awesome😂
i've been loving the plague daemons in GFF and AOFS, the ambush/scout and the combo of rending and poison is pretty stompy
Awesome! Imo even in a balanced game it's still fun and useful to rank and rate factions.
Also good to see some AoF love.
I hate to see it, but my poor Volcanic Dwarves are indeed on the lower part of balanced. Maybe OPR will give us the 3 man mini-drake riders us firey bois have been craving!
It’s funny you started with a disclaimer about any army beating any other, my first AoF game a Dwarf army completely bodied an Ogre army by turn 3. Rangers are underrated as chaff units.

I don't think my ratmen squad has beat my mummified undead squad a single time. And my mummified undead outlive my lust demon squad, but they can capture SO much ground that I have lost on points.
Ratmen have Storm Ogres, which are one of the best elite units in the game. They only thing they lack is high-AP shooting.
It’s so well balanced - especially with access to allies - it’s incredible
I'm genuinely happy to see my Halflings at B. They dont get a lot of love. B seems right.

I didn't realize there were so many armies! I can't wait to a 3d printer! I bought the jackels starter set from only-games and haven't gotten it yet. I ordered in freaking MAY
they are coming from the UK. Sometimes it takes while because customs want to sit on it for a bit
Nice video! Vampire cavalry with a hero is indeed a terrifying force, and my poor HElfs get curbstomped in almost every game I play them :( , so I Iam looking forward to what you can do with them!

As a proud Orc player, with Gork or possibly Mork tattooed on my neck, I love to see my greens on S tier, together with my beloved Ghostly undead, a shame my Dwarves and Havoc warriors are not doing that great though
the armies are so close to each other that it was a very nit picked list. Dwarves and havoc warriors are still good and can beat the higher armies on the list if even a single dice roll goes their way.
But yes orcs is best!
@@WarbossFitz yeah I know and that’s what make this game awesome you can have fun with whatever, I saw your dwarves games, they had very miserable dice rolls, not their faults lol
So agree from what I've watched on you tube. I was bummed because the war havoc army which is the "forces of the abyss" in kings of war is an army I love and want to do well but alas I can not seem to make them work. Anyways GREAT list Buddy!!!!! Sorry the pointy ears are giving you a hard time:)!!!!!!

Wait. Some of those armies I never seen the minis on their stl download page (Like the Angel ones) do they appear elsewhere?
You can use what ever models you like in OPR. The game is model agnostic.
OPR is working on making all of the armies they have rules for as STLs, but considering there are so many it will take a while.
its funny like the orcs are the WEAKEST army in the game but here they are S :3
