    Hello Rene.
Thank you for sharing your podcast.
What strikes me the most is that you are able to talk about your
terrible and life changing experience with a smile on your face,
and instead of feeling bitter about it,
you are using your life to teach others how to deal with brain injury.
You are a graceful and loving example for anyone to follow.
I believe there is strength in LOVE, and you are living proof of it.
Good luck selling your book; I'm sure it will be a success.
    Maria.

This was a superb interview. Rene is my amazing sister in law. Her journey into and out of, and living with her brain injury has been frustrating and cathartic. People look the same, but they are not the same with a brain injury. We must remember to be tolerant and kind.

I had the pleasure of meeting Rene today at Trillium Lake on Mt. Hood. She is a wonderful person and not afraid to tell her story. I have suffered 2 TBI's in my life, one as a child and one in the military. It was wonderful to be able to talk with her and we had great conversation about photography and TBI. Sure made my day!
