this game is good, im just playing it. but its not great. and its not the best bond game ive played. it just doesnt give you that ,,bond feeling". its like some good COD4 modification.

Some people think that it should've played like GoldenEye on the N64. I went back and played GE on the N64; The gameplay still holds up, but it doesn't hold up as well as everyone says it does, and it sure as hell doesn't compare to the CoD-style controls. As for Blood Stone, its only worth a rent. it's not a bad game, its just that everything about it was painfully average.The car chase parts were my favorite part of the game, they were they were really nicely handled. The TPS gameplay was generic. Graphically, characters looked dull and frankly some PS2 and Xbox titles looked better. Again, Blood Stone isn't a bad game, but it has numerous imperfections.

Perhaps the most memorable movie in the franchise that both brought Jaws back and gave him the only send off for a henchman in a bond film that wasn't a 9mm lobotomy, not even mentioning the boat chase which objectively featured the most badass bond vehicle of all time?

They already made a goldeneye follow up. it's called timesplitters. it's made by rare developers that split off and joined a different company. I've never played the first one, but 2 and 3 are fantastic games. way underrated series
the prob with bond games is that they are made to come out with the movies so i say give the lisonce back to rare and bace the games on the books and each game will have 3 books and 1 more book 4 DLC so the first game will have Casino Royale, Live and Let Die and Moonraker and the DLC will be Diamonds are Forever so what do u guys think

Yeah i played all of them and personally it felt like this James Bond release felt a bit more, way more than just patched or modded Call Of Duty. Theres more stealthy feel to it in places and 3rd person parts and those other little things that make it stand out a bit. I really enjoyed it and 007 Blood Stone too! But i guess you could say that certain fps parts do feel Call of dutyish, but game is way much more than that.

I just bought this and played the first level. Really not liking the switching from first person to third person execution. I much prefer the third person perspective. I absolutely adore 007 Blood Stone (which came out two years after this game) so to me, it seems they really improved on everything in this game. But so far, I am having fun with this game. But I keep returning to Blood Stone.
I do agree with you a little, I would also prefer Goldeneye any day over Cod. But the fact is that the only reason why Cod exists is because of Medal of Honor Allied Assault on PC! The same folks who made that game went over to start making Cod games on consoles!
I'm thinking Goldeneye was so much better than other Bond games because it was released a couple of years after the movie came out. That's a lot of time to tightening things up. In this case we have yet another game trying to match the release date of it's film partner. It's a shame really. This game doesn't look too bad though. It's just weird to think of Bond using so much cover when usually he takes people down with a lot of style instead of popping out and hiding again.
I sure would rate it 8.8/10. because the campaign is short! It only took me 2 days to complete it and if there was no school and i played non-stop ill beat it in like 10 hours. But non-the less it was great
The thing that disappointed me the most with this game is that they had absolutely no driving. There were just a few driving scenes shared between QOS and Casino Royale, but Treyarch decided to just make the game COD with a cover system and James Bond, when they could have added in some of those driving scenes. They could have also done a much better job with the cutscenes.
i know yh i was their like, well their is upgrades you buy the guns, i actually love this game, i have recomended it to so many people cos its not really overly played, i actually prefer this to cod 5, i dont know about 4 but 5 yes, a couple more online games an ill have the full 1000 too :D i love the live so much tbh
This game is good, but there didn't seem to be sufficient variety of missions. I know they established the feel of the "immature bond" who takes the "license to kill" too literally. lol However, there is no excuse to leave out the "knife struggle" between Demetri and Bond or VEHICULAR CHASES.

This was one of the first ps3 games i owned so i have quite the soft spot for it but i will admit it has some fails but yeah really good bond game..

How can you hate on Roger Moore having a laserbattle in space?
Not just that, but the lagging in many cases is annoying, that it actually reminded me of Goldeneye, which had instances of bad lagging too.

@SNIPERxCITY because call of duty is revolutionary and you know damn well every other first person shooter franchise tries to copy it in some ways.
