In 2020 , I can confirm it , this game was an actual gem ,I played it back when I was a kid . It was awesome and now I m gonna play it again
7 out of 10 would be reasonable.
6 would be understandable.

This game is so underrated. Shame it wasn't appreciated when it came out. It is for sure the best Bond game since Everything or Nothing.

Im a BIG and tbh biased james bond fan, this game does not deserve a 5, its more like a 7.5. I do think they could have made it a lot better, you can beat the game in a little over 5 hours but there's really no reason to go back after you beat it like other games. In short it's a must ''rent'', a 5 rating is just cruel!!

I just played this amazing game again, and I'm still as disgusted at this review video as I was 9 years ago. This game easily deserves a 7/8 and arguably an 8/10.

The best things about the game are 1.The Soundtrack 2.The Tunnel Drill part and *maybe* the minigun on the hovercraft-boat-thing.
I think that goldeneye n64 and nightfire everything or nothing were the best I liked from Russia with love just as much as the other 3
great game with a great storyline. the gameplay was smooth and entertaining and felt like a real bond movie.

This game was better than what reviewers think. Yes the game was too short and the online melee system was horrible. But besides that chases where fun and the story was interesting.
Cat guy, it was pretty good but it did have some flaws and wasn't challenging enough, also the multiplayer was laggy. 8/10
I like the twist at the end of the game it also leads up to a sequel , WHICH FOR SOME REASON WE HAVEN'T GOT YET.

I'm remember how excited I was when this came out, played it several times, if I still had a Xbox 360 I'd play it again no doubt !! Graphics still look slick in my opinion

I think the lack of gadgets is due to the fact that the reboot of Bond (Craig Era) follows a more grounded, realistic feel hence the lack of toys and gadgets even in the movies.

I first started playing this today, and its awesome!
I'm currently playing this game and I can honestly tell you that it is quite fun. The graphics might not be that great but the fun-factor more than makes up for it. I would give it a solid 8.0!
There's no reward for being stealthy... yes there is you get to see awesome take down cut scenes
which no doubt get old... really quick.
He's right there's no advantage except on the Monaco level where you get an achievement for having no one notice you sneak into the mansion
Never mentioned anything about multiplayer. Picked it up solely for the single player experience, which I think is well worth a 15-20 dollar price tag.
@jk2008jk I agree with you; 5.0 is too low; the game is pretty enjoyable, the music is awesome and since it is an original story suited for the current tone of the movie series (CR and QoS don't show more gadgets than this game) it is not fair to compare it with GoldenEye; it should be rated considering the previous outing (that disappointed me a bit) the only two things I didn't like about it were some plot holes ( Aston Martin DB5 out of the blue) and the price.
I sort of agree with this guy, but I think this is a solid rental. It does lack a weapons cache like sc and AOT 30th day. JB can not crouch or tuck and roll which means jumping from cover to cover your standing up. The hand to hand is SWEET-I like the graphics, the sound is great on a real surroundsound. I wish you could choose his outfits after you complete the campaign. I would rate it a 7 on the fun scale and since I only like 3rd person shooters it's gotta hold me till ghost recon 2011
Back when I first got an xbox 360 as a kid i wasnt allowed to buy any shooting games. I would rent this game at the video store and play the campaign. I had so much fun with it even though it wasnt the best at the time.
This game was really good! I think it was meant to be like an interactive bond movie so they don't focus that much on the gameplay

Awww I was hoping for some sort of 007 Blood Stone is so hard, its like trying to get blood from a stone line....or something thats actually true.
But basically it involves that getting blood from a stone line
I give this game 8.0 its really good feeling when you kick somebody ass. I love mele combat system like this one.

I loved this game!! The multiplayer is pretty weak yes, but I thought the campaign was phenomenal! I've replayed this game a countless number of times.

yh, couldnt agree more with the gadgets, i miss the old 'world is not enough' games with all the gadgets but tbh, think its due to the films aslo with the films not featuring as many gadgets as they used to

there did not hate on BF3,red dead redemption,killzone 3, super mario galaxy 2, max payne 3, the walking dead episode 1, assains creed 2, dead space 1 and 2,grand theft auto iv and i can just keep going on about the good games which they gave good review for

I am a huge massive James Bond 007 fan and I am only fourteen years old. This is one of the best bond games I have ever played and IGN should have rated this game more than just a 5, also I thought Rak was a memorable villan
They always seem to get things wrong now a days ... the Daniel Craig version of bond is to be seen as more action over flare such as the Pierce Brosnan character from Bond ... they have moved bond away from 50's 60's version of a spy movie to Suter the taste of a moderate crowd that's why you don't see gadgets and these games but reviewers seem to be stuck on that they even made a joke about it in Skyfall where Q said what were you expecting an exploding pen ... all in all a very unappreciated game

All I want is a stealth James bond game. I think that's why I got into splinter cell so much.
