I enjoyed playing though Goldeneye Reloaded, but I'm just gonna say temper your expectations on if he covers it. Cause it has a lot of really bad qualities. I still had my fun in it though.
@@taintsmacker4008 i saw it at the thrift store and my mom told me to choose between goldeneye 007 reloaded and halo CEA, i chose halo CEA but I should have asked her for both
Fun fact, while the M14 was designed to be full auto, the fire selector could be removed which locked the rifle into semi automatic, and this was how they were generally issued.
I never had this game, but I was watching a long play for this back when I was in 9th grade. I also remember that this game had a pretty cool intro and the song they used to accompany the intro was a real banger
I do agree. A story needs to be contained within the game. Knowing the source material should be a plus and enhance the enjoyment, but the games story should also aim to draw in new fans.
10:30 About Black Ops 2 and other games untile MW 2019,I wholeheartedly agree. Not only BO 2 featured a great campaign and soundtrack but it was the right combo of hi-tech and modern weaponry. Also Menendez Best Villain.
I actually played this on the Wii version and the multiplayer was awesome! The cover mechanic worked great. You do great work don’t usually comment on videos but just wanted to for this one!
The way I always thought of the older Treyarch games (BO2 and older) was that they were heavy. Movement had a lot of weight to it, jumping, mantling, even the reloading. It was all very deliberate and had more weight than the IW CoD games. BO3 and after just feel stiff while they try to capture that heaviness. All the reloads and the movement have lost the feeling of weight, but the timing of everything is similar so it just feels drawn out and restrictive.
“I never care about 007” Ok that fine, not for everyone but I highly recommend nightfire for a 007 game not as good than golden eye but it’s petty good
Nightfire's definitely the modern iteration of Goldeneye in terms of quality and multiplayer gameplay. Goldeneye 2010's a good game but it's a bit too much Call of Duty-esque to be comparable.
6:30 Don't worry Jarek, I watched the movies and I also have no fucking clue what was the story of Quantum of Solace in particular. Pretty sure no one does.
Okay I have to ask, and this is in regards to the sniper "bug(?)" in Rainbow 6 Vegas 2. Blind fire is super inaccurate, UNLESS you press the zoom button while using a sniper rifle, then your blind fire is 100% accurate. I swear I've only seen this posted once on a forum from 2009. Is this not known by many?
Not sure a bout Quantum of Solace but I remember really enjoying a 007 game called "Everything or Nothing". Anyone else remember that? Also, I didn't notice at first, but when you're close to dying in this game instead of your screen going red and faded the 'mechanical lens' or whatever it is closes over your screen. I'm not too into 007 myself but what a bloody clever use of the series' iconic thing for a video game, that sort of little thing I think we have to take a moment to appreciate.
I remember there being 2 or 3 stealth sections in the PS2 version of the game that would hard fail you if you were detected and I remember not liking them at all. Although they were hardly stealth and more for obvious path of cover and wait for guards to hit their cues for either turning their vision away or setting themselves up for a takedown. They never really lasted long and I'm pretty certain were always at the very beginning of the levels so everything onwards would be appropriate levels of Daniel Craig Bond "Sprywork"
The multiplayer was such a blast on 360, had a pretty decicated group of players til 2013-14, when most players had moved to the X1/PS4 gen & other games. Despite how busted Hutchinson A4, Proxies, and SAF 9mm with rapid fire was, the fun & tight knit community kept me coming back.
@@LynxChannel Since *no one* seems post any of these announcements anywhere, stream/capture the game on these gamedays and last time I tried to get on doing this, no one really showed up. Heyyy Jarek. Not sure whether you take suggestions from comments or not but if so, I hope it's okay if I list about 5 games I thought would be interesting for you to cover. Hope ya don't mind bro, love your content... Also, I'm gonna do a quick description of what they're about. 1. Bedlam - Traveling through history of FPS games. Hard Reset - Fast paced cyberpunk robot fighting where everything explodes even if you do as little as sneeze at it. 3. It's almost like Red Steel 2, but with much more refined ranged AND melee combat... Everything explodes here too. 5. Clive Barker's Undying - Simple FPS with not only guns, but also magic and outdated horror elements. I'd say it's pretty much BioShock WAY before it was a thing.

you can find sites that have the game either by buying it or you know pirate it, the installations usually is pretty simple just press one button to install and everything is in one folder. Now for safety it all depends where you get it, very common if you pirate games that your antivirus will flag something, for the most part this is a false positive but still. And for the crashing and stuff it's mostly depends on your hardware and/or the quality of the installer you got, i would still say it's worth it to test some sites out shouldn't be too hard to get it to work . You may need to find a crack for the Games For Windows Live fix unless it's included in the games while getting it, it's not always the case. Plus get the fps and fov fix too. If this doesn't work then do as the other comment said and just get it on console.
I remember playing this on the Wii, single player and online, and having an absoute blast with it. I did wish it was Rainbow Six Vegas throughout the entire game, but pointer aimed third person cover system with bindfire, campaign or online, well, that was good enough to forgive a lot of technical flaws, and it not being R6 Vegas
I played the hell out of this game back in the day. It can be messy at times, and the campaign is just a bunch of set pieces from Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace without much coherence. But it was a genuinely well-crafted game that played well and still looks good today. Plus they actually got the cast from both movies reprising their roles (even if they mostly just phoned it in). As a 007 experience, Blood Stone is a more coherent story and it's a decent enough game when taken on its own merits, but the gunplay isn't anywhere near as good as Quantum of Solace.
i remember playing a bit of this on the PS3 and thinking it was pretty good (didn't beat it though). shame multiplayers dead, as it actually looks somewhat fun, like a mix of 007, COD 4, and black ops 1 (don't know if the console versions of this game have splitscreen and/or LAN play) also would you please be willing to do review's on the 2 other James Bond FPS games of the 7th generation, Goldeneye 007 Reloaded and 007 legends? @xj0462 yep if I am right almost all of 007 games relased on nintendo consoles have splitscreen since goldeneye (the n64 one) probably to keep the legacy? i don't really know (except handheld ports btw)
I was just wondering when you'd cover this, I really wish these would all be on steam again, I know they're not perfect but I wish we at least had some James Bond games on Steam. If you want a weird FPS game to cover, there's "7554" which was released for free on the official website to commemorate a battle, it's basically Call of Duty set during the First Indochina war, where you play as Vietnamese soldiers fighting against the French, there's a small bug where it will install into Vietnamese instead of Englsih but PCgaming wiki has a fix for that. (Since the translation is just text you just find the game's settings and change the langauge to english in-game.) I've only played a little bit but it seems like a game that should be covered more, (Especially since it's now free.) it has some neat stuff, like being able to fully equip the knife/grenade and actually seeing your character pick-up weapons. Or, if you want something Awful, Tunnel Rats on steam, which is the only licensed game based on a Uwe Boll movie.

you can literally blindfire every enemy in the game from behind cover with laser accuracy if you just remember the invisible crosshair in the middle of the screen lol
One minor thing that always bothered me about this game even back in the day is ‘why does every two-handed weapon in this game have a foregrip?’. I mean I know its trivial but as a firearms fanatic I always hated looking at the non-optional foregrip on the guns, I mean it makes sense for the Steyr AUG and UMP but why would you put a foregrip on a Dragonuv or a Walther WA2000?
