i beat this game millions of times. i loved it ! but keep in mind i was like 8yrs old so anything as a kid was fun . We didnt think about the graphics or if it dealt with the movie. We used our imagination a different way.
Stage 2 is my favorite track. So atmospheric and moody. And then when it kicks into high gear, it sounds similar to the awesome tracks from Ninja Gaiden 2 to me.
I remember actively ignoring the game's ties to the movie and instead imagined it as a darker version of Little Nemo, with the Arnold looking protagonist navigating eerie dreamscapes. It actually made it more enjoyable to little kid me.
mcgibs That's awesome. I used to love to make up narratives too, one of the best parts of those old video games was using your imagination to fill in the gaps.
I wouldn't say this game is horrible, its just kinda odd. The music is pretty cool, especially the title theme. It stuck with me ever since the first time I played it. Maybe ill give it a go to beat it some time soon. :D
That opening kinda gives a sad nostalgia to me, cuz when i was a kid, i played this game at the end of the sunday and before going to bed for another day of school
The music is exceptional, but as kids, totally obsessed with the og predator movie, we were determined to finish the game. It's pretty wild. Only knew one kid who had this game and I bought it from him 😁
The main reason I die in this game is because of I concentrate so much in its awesome music that I forget to evade some evading sequences or I like to stop playing from time to time for hearing 3 or 4 times every track. I love so much Stage 1 theme, Stage 2 theme and the music from the duel against Predator (I don't know why you name it Stage 30). I like synchronization between Arnold's feet and Stage 1 theme. Stage 3 and Stage 4 are very catchy too.
I remember when games like this were enough to entertain. Gamers (myself included) are, in general, so much more picky and demanding when it comes to games these days...
Stage Theme 2 was my favorite back in '89 when I got the game, and still is to this day... there's a doom/gothic vibe to it, and the intro somehow reminds me of those hopping Chinese vampires/ghosts
Really top quality sound on the video. Love the game and my second favorite NES soundtrack, second only to "Battle of Olympus". I have been unable to find any additional information on the composer.
Well they were only Publishers and never designed those two games, they most likely had say in how soon to push the development and release of the games, I think Pack-In-Video still did well for whatever budget and time constraints they were given.
The sound track for Predator still stands strong even today..I played this the other night.....I'm still kicking it old school for life.
Are you still kicking it old school four years later?
Opening theme is so memorable I hear this in my head every time I see Arnold cthu!!
It is pretty darn good ;D
Thats my childhood soundtrack
Many people say that game is bad. I don't think is THAT bad. But the music is really better than the game itself.

It was one of my favourites growing up. It was so satisfying to beat it finally
Stage 2 is my favorite track.
So atmospheric and moody.
And then when it kicks into high gear, it sounds similar to the awesome tracks from Ninja Gaiden 2 to me.
9:31 the best
That deserves to be in a more fitting game.
I actually recorded this on a tape recorder and listened to it. That’s how much I liked it as a kid. 🤫

Little Arnold the Dream Predator - I'll never see this gaem or little Nemo the same again :P
2:27 - Is he wearing pink? Why'd they put him in pink? Did they see the movie? He doesn't wear pink in the movie!
RIDE THE SCORPION
Damn stage 4 theme is just amazing.
13:49 stage 30 was always my favorite!
Indeed. Final Area and Final Boss.
I wouldn't say this game is horrible, its just kinda odd. The music is pretty cool, especially the title theme. It stuck with me ever since the first time I played it. Maybe ill give it a go to beat it some time soon. :D

9:30 has stuck in my head since childhood. Hearing this track again did some weird shit to me
always seemed to me the stages featuring this track were to damn short
@Rayne Kraven truth!
Stage 2 theme just popped back in my head after thirty years early today.
The music is exceptional, but as kids, totally obsessed with the og predator movie, we were determined to finish the game. It's pretty wild. Only knew one kid who had this game and I bought it from him 😁
this game has one of the most precise jump control I ever see in a NES game
the last song as a kid gave me chills knowing i was ready to face the last predator one on one.
Wow, such a great soundtrack. Im so glad I remembered this the other day, and even more glad I found this video here.
2:27 Is he wearing pink?!
Why they put him in pink? Did they see the movie?! He didn't wear pink in the movie!!

Stage 3 and Stage 4 are very catchy too.
9:31 The best music!!
Beat this game back the the 90s. The music at 10:10 always reminded me of the "Don't hang up" , song from the Orlons.
0:22 when I hear that part I can see with my mind's eye Arnold flexing on Mr. Olympia stage.
Doesn't anyone agree that the Stage 3 music resembles "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen"?
fascinante....
I remember when games like this were enough to entertain. Gamers (myself included) are, in general, so much more picky and demanding when it comes to games these days...
Anyone ever play a game until your reached the level with your favorite song just to listen to it? lol
Love this game and even for today's standards the music is pretty good
Good work Junichi Saito!
Stage Theme 2 was my favorite back in '89 when I got the game, and still is to this day... there's a doom/gothic vibe to it, and the intro somehow reminds me of those hopping Chinese vampires/ghosts
GET TO THE CHOPPA
The music is kind of good, though. I love the variety of music in the game, and some of the music sounds extremely good.
Hidden gem. Mario-like platforming, pink clothes, guns and predators. What is not to like?
It would be interesting to see someone (like 2 Steps From Hell) remake these songs with more classical/proessional instruments.
My god I forgot how much a bad ass the intro theme was.
fantastic soundtrack
Stage 4 slaps harder than it has any right to be
i loved this game ! i was like 8 when i played it. and beat it quickly. Had alot of replay value.
you're awesome. i used to watch to some of the old walkthrough's to re-live the 8bit soundtrack!
I was referring to this game's composer, but that link you gave answered my question.
Thank you, it's a really great site.
Otro gran juego del NES y su gran musica. gracias por compartirlo :)
Really top quality sound on the video.
Love the game and my second favorite NES soundtrack, second only to "Battle of Olympus".
I have been unable to find any additional information on the composer.
Heh, I like how Contra pretty much swiped the same artwork that this game's cover was based on.
IM INDEBTED TO YOU FOR THIS
stage theme 5 is not a stage theme. it's for a special static screen after you finish stage 1
Used to own this game as a kid.
Mediocre game with a kickass soundtrack
GET THA HOSTAGES
Stage 4 is my favorite theme
Agreed
This could be so bomb remixed lol. Takes me back
This is a bad game, but the music is actually pretty cool!
It ain't that bad, just a tough challenge. With awesome music! ;3
geocraftsman I don't know but to me this game is more like a puzzle game
kicks ass!!
there was a predator game for the nes?! :/
Oh my God that game !! 😬 lol
stage 3 la mejor cancion...
Stage 3 was that upbeat music I needed to let me know things were getting real.
13:49
We all know the only true predator and aliens game was contra. Rambo was even a selectable character.
*0% Autotune detect*
The games ending sucks it reads congratulations you have survived
BRITTO
Love 4:35
Could almost pass as early snes music
2:27 FALSTO BRITTO
I came only for Stage 30.
Official 5OR5 its giving me a headache
ACTIVISION came a long way
But Forget about ghost busters or the nes
To Catch An Awesome Predator Soundtrack.....fail.
2:27 BRITTO
* cabeça voando *
4:37
FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT GAME! LOVED THE MUSIC THOUGH! yeah my childhood growing up haha
The game was boring but the music was great.
This game is same shit as Rambo on NES. Both are designed by Activision.
Well they were only Publishers and never designed those two games, they most likely had say in how soon to push the development and release of the games, I think Pack-In-Video still did well for whatever budget and time constraints they were given.
And pretty much shows they were as much of a good company as they are now. (Seriously though, I fucking hate that company! >X^( )
Pfft Predator lol.
Games kinda trash but the soundtrack is top tier.
Great sound track , The game is not as good as the sound track.
Is it fun for you?
+Josh Smith yes it is. But the play control is bad. I play it til the end. But the controls, not easy.
+Edrick Grullon Do you think the giant Predator head would make a better Mario boss?
4:54 is the shit.
Not as good as dooms but
