In my opinion, this game have one of the best 8-Bit soundtrack of all times. I love that synths, fits so good with a retro Space Opera ambient from the 80s
So im 42 and just realized 😳 this may be a Hideo Kojima game lol depending when he was with Konami I doubt it but that would be so cool childhood memories and yess best 8 bit sound track
This was all done through Propellorhead Reason 4. Most of the instruments are custom-made using subtractor and sampler synthesizers, usually with reverb/chorus/unison/etc. for added effect.
Hm,Contra 4 and Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night in addition to DuckTales?...I'd be for this if they'd collab with IntiCreates by virtue of Blaster Master Zero.
@@SonicSlicer Ducktales was the main reason I'd choose 'em. They did such a fantastic job with that remake, I'm sure they'd do Bucky O'Hare justice as well. Also mega late reply. XD
BEST MUSIC!!! in all of Nintendo History!!! And yes my friend i am well familiar with this game. it happens to be one of my favorites & i beat this game back in 1992. Such well performed Soundtrack to an Epic Video Game from the Past! Thank you for the memories....
This game this game made other platformers jealous. In my mind, only MAYBE Ducktales could stand up to it in terms of overall quality. Oh sure, Mega Man gets points for style and creativity, but man, I just loved Bucky O'Hare. I was obsessed with the T.V. Show and comic as well, so yeah, probably a bit of bias here, but this game... It had everything! Awesome music, awesome boss fights, awesome level design, it even took a page from the multiple powers of Mega Man if you considered each character you could play as to be a different "power."
This might be sacrilegious, but I prefer Bucky O'Hare to any of the NES Mega Man games. The level design is more creative and tightly designed, replacing ammo-reliant power ups with actual unique characters without worrying about how much ammo you have is a clever idea that makes the game flow better, and most of all; As incredible as the OST for the NES Mega Man games are, Bucky O' Hare is somehow even better. Real shame the game is likely stuck in licensing hell. Fantastic remix dude, you nailed it!
Difficult, but intense and good game! And i really loved the soundtrack and wanted them to be remixed... Just like this! I'm listening to this video once again, because it's way too darn good. Nice job!
Dude are you kidding? This is amazing! I agree with everyone who's commenting about the nostalgia of the game and its music, and how good these rearrangements are. I especially like the faithful attention to details like the 16th-note bass riffs. I'm kind of a slight perfectionist lol
Outstanding work on this! I've been listening to the original music a lot lately, and not only regarding it as one of the best NES OSTs, but your choices in instruments really brought out that 80s and 90s sci-fi energy, while adding some extra freestyle to a few tracks that made it even better. Hopefully more get to discover this arrangement, even after I share it!
Your arrangement is so impressive! A lot of these sound like they could be in a Sega CD or Turbo Grafix CD game. I think I'm going to have to subscribe!
i love the style this game had in terms of game play, everytime you saved one of the crew memebers you could used them in the game and the cool part was each memeber had their own unic game play, but no obstacle was unreachable to each member on every stage you just had to be creative to reach your goals. i also like the story line alot, the bad guys where bad but not intirely giving potencial if it have had a sequel. i kind of wish this game can get a remake.
Dear Konami Let’s do a remastered version of Bucky O’Hare in hand drawn animation, with the original voice cast like Capcom did with Ducktales. And if you do please use this for the soundtrack!
Loved this game, I don't really see the flaws though I think the challenge grew depending on how far you got into the game. Like the toad flying robot machine boss, that was pretty hard and where I got stuck the most. The music is amazing, thanks for this arranged music, was nice to listen to. :)
At 00:00 - This is going to suck. Every video I see of arranged old OSTs suck. At 00:10 - This is actually pretty good. At 00:20 - Ok, here's my like. At 00:30 onwards - AWESOME.
Remember when Konami didn't suck ass? We'd get awesome games like this. I was already an adult and played this on an emulator when I instantly fell in love with it's music. It's right up there with classics like Megaman.
Sure, the characters aren't as well known as the ninja turtles or other late 80's early 90's TV show characters, but this game kicks butt. If you haven't played it, it is in many ways similar to the classic Mega Man series.
i love this work of love man, you got my respect, also would be possible to get a longer version of each soundtrack, and i mean of those not like the endgame music? Great work!
If Konami would be planning on releasing Bucky o' Hare NES in the current gen consoles with navigation/hints system, arranged music, and extra content, just like what Capcom did to their Rockman NES games before on the Playstation, that'll be great. :D
...do this as a CD release alongside your take on Ufouria the Saga on the same disc and I would pay to be able to play it in my car when driving around. Amazing stuff this and I am only sad I did not discover this until now
Cool, could never have guessed. Reason is really a great software, very diverse, dont use no more though. Cubase is all I use. Things tend to sound too fat in cubase, especially when trying to make retro game music stuff. Was never a problem in reason.
If they made another TMNT game for the NES or SNES in 1993, this could be a soundtrack for it! This could work if they used it in a new Contra game too! Maybe Super Bucky O'Hare II with the Turtles in Time composer!

i didn´t play all, but i seriously think this the best soundtrack on nes
Don't know, don't care. Just awesome 8-Bit Soundtrack 😊
In the right Hands the NES was so much more

Space synthwave vibes!
This was all done through Propellorhead Reason 4. Most of the instruments are custom-made using subtractor and sampler synthesizers, usually with reverb/chorus/unison/etc. for added effect.
How am I just stumbling across this masterpiece now... amazingly done.
One of the best soundtracks on the NES. This is great! 👍
Still listening. Still my favorite version of my childhood favorite game's soundtrack.
Still listening to this. Never delete this.
This game seriously deserves a remake. Who should be the ones to remake it? My vote goes to WayForward.
Hm,Contra 4 and Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night in addition to DuckTales?...I'd be for this if they'd collab with IntiCreates by virtue of Blaster Master Zero.
I'd drop $90 for a remake

Perfect choice!
Супер игра, супер музыка. Друг спасибо, детство вспомнил, но игру так и не прошёл. Ностальгия.
This might be my favorite NES OST!
same here, trying to beat this game as a kid with my mom, was so much fun. This and Megaman iv were my favorite Nintendo games
The past week, the Salvage Chute theme has been stuck in my head. Not that that's a bad thing.
The way the intro, green planet, and level complete tracks flow into each other is outstanding.

It's crazy how stage select (02:44) sounds like Pokemon.
Cara que nostalgia foi o jogo que marcou a minha infância no polistation 8 bits e essas músicas remix ta irada de mais.😊

Fabulous! Underrated game and music. Game was hard as balls too
Sweet. This arrange makes it sound 90's arcade-y.

Very good arrangement. I listen to this and the original soundtrack frequently

Ducktales 1 pales in comparison to Ducktales 2 on NES.
