Dettori suspended for only 9 Victorian race days for doing a left hand turn into Il Paradiso and costing him the race. There could have been a nasty fall so Dettori's penalty seems a bit light. In comparison, several other jockeys were severely punished for using the whip a few more times than allowed prior to the last 100 metres

@carol m evry stewards enquiry ove ever witnessed the jockeys tell fibs they are trying to keep the race. And its up to the stewards to decide the wrong doer. There is no dount frankie is the second best third vest jockey to ever do it
