Thanks for the home. Love the exterior and grounds. I'd like to see this place totally renovated back to it's former glory, didn't see even where the kitchen would have been, I would tear off that addition.
Canadian taxpayers own this building not the Canadian government.and we are still paying for the light bill even though it is abandoned frigging ridiculous.
He had to move out the house is too expensive to renovate. Doesn't matter who is the prime minister. If someone wants their tax dollars used to renovate it instead of being used for something else.....
Wow! The outside of this place is magnificent. It's every description of the word "Dream Mansion" I absolutely loved this explore! Thank you so much!! The entryway..... breathtaking the staircase, the knoll post all the woodwork..... Awesome find, thank you so much for sharing this with us. Awesome job!!! ✌️❤️
Thank you for the detailed tour. Stephen Harper was the last primeminister to live here. I think the government is still contemplating whether to renovate or tear it down as it would cost millions.
No it wouldn't cost millions to just clean it up and leave it as is, not tear down walls just to make Modern, some people love the Traditional Homes not this modern craziness.
That is not 24 Sussex drive, the official residence of the prime Minister, that trudeau has never used. You cannot get anywhere near it, it is not a park, its still partially active and monitored. Other than being stone, the house and property are completely different.
I don’t know what house you were in, but 24 Sussex has a spiral staircase, which is nowhere in your video. You should know more about your government. 24 Sussex was the prime minister of Canada’s official residence. Whoever was in power at the time, he lived in the house. It was built in 1867. It became unliveable because it is full of asbestos, still has the old knob and tube wiring, probably leaded paint, has awfully outdated heating, cooling and plumbing systems and is not well insulated. Case in point, those “nice old windows” let in a lot of cold air in the winter. Any “upgrades” were done as patches, look at all the pipes and electrical wires running along the ceilings and walls. Imagine inviting a visiting head of state for dinner at a house like this.
Well it didn't look like this when Steven Harper et al entertained heads of state, obviously . It has been left to deteriorate since Steven Harper lived there . Of in fact this is 24 Susex Drive.
@@karenmcinnis2652 But if it was haunted by the ghost of Stephen Harper perpetually reading his old budget speeches. at least the rats would just get really bored and leave!
Wow! I would love to have the contract to restore 34 Sussex. I would come back to Canada in a heartbeat. Eliminate all the surface mounted conduits and boxes. Restore the place to its original glory. All the items can be concealed, I did a heritage building, hidden cameras without disturbing the original mounding
I really appreciate you and other explorers who share amazing places from our past that we never would have had the pleasure of viewing. A big Heartfelt Thank You and safe travels🙏🏾
Hey.....Mr.Ontario.......you sure got your exercise today....walking up and down all those stairs...good job...........did PM Trudeau have the Gov't buy this place so when he retires from office, they can have all of his accomplishments here for public viewing....😇😇
Viessmann gas boilers a tecmar weather responsive control which was that blue box with the red lights on it, and the circulators are still running circulating the water through the radiators.
Ahh,with the Exit signs throughout the Mansion, I'm wondering if at one point it was a Courthouse,or something on that nature,a Traditional Mansion / homes wouldn't have exit signs. The entire layout screams a Courthouse or something like it and all the woodwork
It looks like some type of business for sure with all the exit signs and the floodlights. But for it to be opened again to some type of business they'd have to bring it app to code and it would cost way too much money. But it's a beautiful old building.
BESIDES THE STONE EXTERIOR, STAIRCASE , LEADED GLASS WINDOWS , THE INTERIOR IS UNDERWHELMING TO SAY THE LEAST. I WAS EXPECTING SO MUCH MORE. EVEN WHEN BUILT THE MAIN FLOOR WAS CHOPPED UP STRANGE, VERY SMALL ROOMS.
Who is "He"? You know nothing. This house belongs to the government and has been around for a 100 years! Justin never claimed it or lived in it😂 it should be torn down bc of all the lead and safety issues. It's a horrible house.
All of the American Homeless Veterans and these mansions are sitting to rot away when it could be Homes for All the American Homeless Veterans. That's a Beautiful House, all that wood working is phenomenal, that's solid wood too, it isn't the cheap crap wood today
It looks like it may have been a home at some point, but it was clearly converted to office or administrative use. What a shame because it’s a nice building and I love the old fixtures and penny tiles. Be careful around raccoon scat as they can carry rabies.
A real gem....at one time. Seems Justin Trudeau has done the same to the house as he is doing to the country ... let it go into disrepair and his disrespect and lack of ability is demonstrated. Trudeau couldn't keep that house in order and in shape and he's expected to keep the country in order and in good shape? Trudeau, like this house, was once a symbol of respect and hope for Canada....not anymore.... now a symbol of embarrasment. Also, reflective of Canada's housing shortage...too many houses and other buildings are unutilized or underutilized which could be used for increased housing. Also, reflective how Trudeau mismanaged the country and will ultimately use the.people's money to fix or pay for his mismanagement and mistakes....and it will cost much more than it would if he had made the correct decisions from the start and been a true/real leader rather than a false facade. A house reflective of government waste and mismanagement. Thanks for the video 👍
It's too bad. You couldn't go to city records to find out where and who lived in these places and what they were from beginning to end. Cause obviously, it was home at 1 time turned into a business and have a little bit more information on it because obviously the city would have The information
Nice to still see original cast iron radiators in a Canadian home, apart from these and a timber staircase, any character features have been neutralised, removed or painted over, fluorescent lighting everywhere makes it look institutional and official, more like an office not a home.
You should probably do your research before you do the video. Room 105 prob means fifth room on the first floor. Remove all the good stuff and demolish the house. It will cost millions to fix it up. There’s asbestos likely lead paint, you wouldn’t want your child living there.
What an absolute waste! But then the government is good at wasting! 😞
So many families living on the street...what a waste of money.
The exterior is INCREDIBLE!!!! LOVE the Stone!!!! MY FAVORITE!!!! The interior, however, leaves ALOT TO BE DESIRED!!!!
Thanks for the home. Love the exterior and grounds. I'd like to see this place totally renovated back to it's former glory, didn't see even where the kitchen would have been, I would tear off that addition.
Hi, it's Damien. 😉Great exploration and video my friend.

24 Sussex Drive. The Prime Minister Residence. That should be repaired! It is owned by the government, no matter who is the PM.
ALL MONEY GOING TO UKRAINE AND GAZA. NOT CANADA
He had to move out the house is too expensive to renovate. Doesn't matter who is the prime minister. If someone wants their tax dollars used to renovate it instead of being used for something else.....
The money shouldn't go to the government is to go to the people of Canada I'm sure that money was stolen.

The bars on the windows etc is because many Canadian Prime Ministers lived there. Nice video.
This house has so much potential

They are all small rooms for such a big house!
Viessmann gas boilers a tecmar weather responsive control which was that blue box with the red lights on it, and the circulators are still running circulating the water through the radiators.
With the small numbered rooms it fells asylum industrial hospital of some kind. Especially with the wheel chair lift.
Ahh,with the Exit signs throughout the Mansion, I'm wondering if at one point it was a Courthouse,or something on that nature,a Traditional Mansion / homes wouldn't have exit signs.

It looks like it could have been a hospital/mental facility. That basement is creepy and moldy😷
It looks like some type of business for sure with all the exit signs and the floodlights. But for it to be opened again to some type of business they'd have to bring it app to code and it would cost way too much money. But it's a beautiful old building.
With the bars on the windows on the inside it kinda reminds me of an old mental Asylum.
I didn't see a Kitchen. Did I just miss it?
That's is a nice house 🏠 do you know who is the owner of the house
Tritium. That's probably what the Exit sign uses to keep well lit for years after having no power. Just fyi.
We've read news reports about how run down the pm's residence has become. I've been curious to see how bad it is inside. Now I know.
Bars on the windows because tyrants are afraid of their people
Grow up
While Canadians are going hungry and homeless and he had a 10mil dollar house.
The Trudeau family has always had money.

It does not look like a home. They must have used it for business.
Bars on inside mean one thing.
Beautiful ❤️😍❤️
Sad incredible waste to let this beautiful historic home waste away and not be restored. I don’t remember seeing a kitchen.
All of the American Homeless Veterans and these mansions are sitting to rot away when it could be Homes for All the American Homeless Veterans.

The last PM to live here was Steven Harper…this house has nothing to do with PM Justine Trudeau
Why can't he sell it
It’s surrounded by government owned property. I don’t think it can be sold.
Its not his to sell 😅

What’s great restore this would be. It’s I’m pretty good shape
Lots of room for the new Canadians
What happen to the kitchen
There is no kitchen because this isn’t the prime minister’s house. It’s an office building.
Did you leave a brown bomb?

You must have good friend to visit that place .it is not guarded by rcmp?

A monster's house. Wake up Canada.
From what i hear there is alot of abandoned mansions.
those appear to be boilers
Think of all the money we've given to the Ukraine that could have been used to renovate and fix up this beautiful building
If this is pm residence, where is the security?
A prime minister of Canada used to live there when it was first built. Now it’s still owned by the government but it’s not used.
The official residence of the pm is 24 Sussex which is under renovation
FJT......has to be said
Where was the kitchen.
Love the exterior, the interior is horrible!
I wouldnt want who knows what went on there
I bet a lot of the wood was stained and they painted it white
This most of been used as public offices, turned big rooms into small offices. Just ugly. Should of made it a nice retirement home
Was built 1924
Only thing that surprises me is no one has spray painted F. Trudeau anywhere.
THAT, and the fact you could get into the place, to begin with.
