It is actually disturbing how much of a throw away society we truly are....sad, this place is so beautiful
It’s insane that house is being demolished. It would have been better to remove the entire house from its foundations and transport it somewhere else for a fraction of the cost to build a house like this. All that in the landfill. Hopefully they donate the appliances and whatever else to habitat for humanity.
They spared no expense building that place

Hard to believe that will be demolished. What a shame and waste. Especially when we’d never know what it’s like to live in a luxury house. The master bedroom and bathroom was dreamy and so cozy. Thanks for sharing.
The key is for the chandelier. You turn the key & it lowers the light to change the bulbs or to clean it.

What really bothers me is I could work till I'm a hundred and fifty years old and never be able to afford a beautiful home like that. They have it and are going to tear it down for something bigger. Don't people know there is a thing called remodeling or adding on. What a waste.
Beautiful home in a quiet peaceful setting. As you tour the rooms you think about the family's memories that were made here. Homes built today would not come close to this craftsmanship.

Beautiful home…well, except for the black mold! The kitchen is bigger than my living room & kitchen combined! So sad that the house will be torn down…such a loss. It certainly wouldn’t take a lot to rehab/refurb it. Much of it isn’t my taste, but even so, I wouldn’t destroy it!

Absolutely criminal that the house is scheduled for demolition. Good bones that just needs a little TLC. A fractional cost to bring it forward from the 1990's. Would be interesting to see what the house is replaced with and whether it's matched in quality. Just insane, especially at Ontario prices.

Urbex where is this place and why are they demolishing it? That's some crazy idea. They should just fix the black mold, fix what needs fixed and save themselves some money. Crazy how beautiful this is and people or waste their money wanting new, new, new. They realize ( until the end of their lives) that new and money isn't EVERYTHING!!!. Why tear down such a beautiful house
Tear it down. Why? I will never understand why these really beautiful homes sit abandoned when there are tons of people like me who would appreciate owning this. It's sad in my lifetime. I'll never have anything like this. I'll give them 100 a week, lol. So sad, tho.

The utilities alone would be North of $3,000 a month and the taxes, depending on which state it is located in could be $70,000+ a year. Most people couldn’t afford it even if it was given to them.

The appliances are high end. The washer & dryer is around $1500 to $1800 each in the states!! They should at least sell off the things thats useful!!! Or donate it to habitat for humanity!!

Do you know if they are going to auction off items in the house like, doors, floors, appliances, etc? Because if they are going to tear it down, then at least use what you can before it's torn down. But....why in the hell would you want to tear it down??? If you "need" a bigger house, ADD ON!!! Who are you trying to impress by building a bigger house?? You'll never get this kind of craftsmanship again.

Because it’s owned by a developer who is going to demolish it and build a modern house.
This mansion wasn't made with enough bad taste, so obviously the developer has to tear it down and replace it by a disgusting Mcmansion being both gaudy and made with crap materials. I can totally asure you whatever thing they will erect on its stead, it will age like milk over a couple of decades. It seems to be a trend in Canada, from what I have seen.

The outside is salvageable with a few tweak the inside needs totally gutted and changed. I see why they went for a demo at that point. The outside isnt really anythign special to keep.
I love this house. It's warm and homey not like the new ugly mega mosoleums that they are building now that are cold uninviting and obnoxious

The colors on the wall are dreadful, dark and an ugly dark grey.
Pretentious, dated and inefficient. More cost effective to demolish and rebuild than to renovate. It's literally throw-a-way architecture.
I like the videos you show but the audio is awful it's so low that you can't hardly hear you talk.At least on my computer it is that way and I have it up as loud as it will go so I have stopped watching them.
