@@jaschabull2365 I find it particularly ironic since the real Anomalocarids were all about maneuverability and keen vision (they had large compound eyes) in addition to being the biggest animals of their time. As such they actually completely lacked a mineralized exoskeleton with only their arms and jaws having any hardening which makes sense as if you are fast huge and deadly like they were they had nothing to fear aside from another anomalocarid. That said as far as we know the notion that they could hunt a trilobite is unlikely since trilobites are literally living rocks with a full body silica exoskeleton including mineralized eyes. The only time they could have taken on a trilobite would be when it was molting. anomalocarids prefered to go after less armored prey basically not trilobites. As for trilobites prior to the evolution of vertebrate jaws their only predators were likely other trilobites as a number of species had mouth parts adapted for boring through thick shells/armor which match the drill marks seen in a fair number of dead trilobites. The anomalocarids we now know lasted into the Devonian at least. They are only ever found fossilized in areas with excellent soft bodied preservation (lagerstatten) which makes their true distribution in time hard to assess but the Devonian is around the time Gnathostomata(jawed fish) and eurypterids (sea scorpions) started to take over the niche of apex predators and around the time where trilobites started to decline as they faced the new threat of being crushed by powerful jaws. @@yourdailysadisticfolkfromi6619 Mega Abomasnow was PU for a bit in gen 7.
@@3.2187_Kilometres bruh u serious?
OK Swift swim on this Pokémon makes a lot of sense actually considering Miror B had one if you caught his Shadow Pokémon in Colosseum
How good was *Vanilluxe* actually?
And then to put the cherry on top,
How good was *Cherrim* actually?
There's no way Cherrim would be successful in any way in the ruthless world of competitive Pokemon.
Shadow the TH-camr but what about cherubi in lc?
@@ROYEWITHNOE You really must be stretching it at this point.
Vanilluxe is cool, no pun intended, it can work as hail/veil support, although it's outclassed by A. Ninetales in this regard. Cherrim however, is a complete joke and using one is the same as asking your opponent to beat you. XD
Shadow the TH-camr I think someone did use on in Gen 4 VGC. 🤔
Armaldo has one of my favorite designs of any pokemon, and it's still really cool to use with its unique typing, but it's a shame it's always so outclassed, honestly if Rock self-resisted it would probably be a lot better
Also known as “Gary’s last form”
I understood that reference

Armaldo is my favorite fossil and carried my ORAS mono bug team.
My favorite fossil.
Sceptile is in OU now.
Armaldo is actually my favorite pokemon, and I end up beating out tyranitars AND mega metagross with mine with a lot of bulk EV’s, and either use a choice band, OR quick claw for the memes. My favorite thing: no one ever fights it, so aqua jet kills are HILARIOUS
Yet he becomes a literally fossil when competitive is talked
where is the pmd2 armaldo reference tho
ngl for the longest time i thought Armaldo learned shell smash in gen 6.
he really should have gotten that move tho.
Is the voting system for this channel still working?
You know the Pokémon probably wasn’t that good when the video is less than 12 minutes long and he uploads another “how good video” in the same day.
Epic

40 points base stat buff.
paco ramon he is a baby

I didn't know there were minor changes to Armaldo's design.

Just wait until we get to one of Courtney (rs) Pokemons tho.

I'll never forget the day I swept a USUM Uber team with a Curse RestTalk Liquidation Armaldo set on showdown
7:22 no, i won't try to do that
Just arrived, Armaldo is my MVP at the moment in my Renegade Platinum Monotype Challenge, it's amazing.
Well, that was throroughly miserable. I absolutely adore Armaldo so listening to this vid was just painful and I couldn't make it to the end, I knew Armaldo would end up untiered sooner or later. But... thanks anyway.
Let's all be honest: who thought that his eyes were the red circles on his head?
Knockoff/rapid spin illegal when paired? That makes no sense. Swords dance/speed boost/baton pass I get, but the first sounds rediculous.
Its really impossible to get them together in gen 3 to Armaldo. Because they are both egg moves and no other mon that has it together to pass it on to Armaldo
@@kanibelazy0585 Oh ok, is that why? Because any that had both would be a hacked mon? Would make sense then
@@codyfelts9531
Yes, because before gen 6, only the dads can pass egg moves so some moveset can be impossible to obtain. Reason why is legal in gen 4 is Knock Off can be tutored
@@kanibelazy0585 Cool, thanks for clearing that up.
It’s crazy to me that stealth rock has never been nerfed
I swear everything is UU BL in generation 3
This dude helps me out with choosing my team, thank you! Btw, mind seeing how good Meowstic is?
