If the risk/reward is this skewed, it's actually just genius to "read" the switch despite how stupid it looks to just mash a water move on storm drain XD I suspect in MOST games that Gastro dies to Knock Off in this situation leaving a very solid opening for water moves going forward but only when both players are aware of it does something like this become so good.

@@Rainer2424 without a doubt it requires a great amount of skill, but it makes matches excessively long, which makes them less entertaining to watch(and play) or just simply harder to digest and get through as a spectator.
im a casual stall player and i absolutely adore watching it get destroyed lmao. its like watching a surgeon carefully take out and destroy a tumour. sure, i find it fun to play as the tumour, but watching it get taken apart with incredible precision is something that i cant help but respect.

Was going to post this exact comment. Chat is cool, but it's obstructing the turn-by-turn data, which would be fine if the turns weren't skipped (which I understand why they were skipped because this is live commentary), so moving the chatbox up covering the last turn info instead of current would be preferable I think.

One thing that bugged me was the lack of ddance. Sure SD makes it a nuclear bomb in the rain but ddance fixes crawdaunt's biggest flaw. Its speed

just saw the teams, what I'd personally focus on first is Knocking anything in sight, hoping to get the Gastrodon or Blissey. Blissey so you can wear it down with Hazards, Gastro so you can check if it's Storm Drain or Sticky Hold because both are quite viable in OU

@@boring6324 You can't get hit by Trick and Knock Off only has 65 BP instead of 97.5 because it's not removing your item. Both Storm Drain and Sticky Hold are extremely viable for Gastro on every tier

also why seismitoad on this over kingdra? kingdra is stronger and has 291/226/226 bulk uninvested compared to seismitoad's 351/186/186, and according to my calculations, that means kingdra has better uninvested bulk, kingdra is also faster and has access to flip turn. seismitoad does have the stronger 100% accurate stab move in weather ball though, as well as being immune to electric and having the generally better defensive typing. it also has ground stab for toxapex (not that physdef pex switches into specs draco) and is able to hit ferrothorn harder than kingdra is. is it really just for toxapex lmao
