Dr Bettina Hohnen is a Clinical Psychologist specialising in working with parents and families in the context of neurodiversity. She lectures and writes about children and young people's mental health. The focus of her work is on strengthening relationships between parents and young people, supporting her belief that if we work hard to get the environment right, all children will thrive.
Every month Dr Bettina addresses a new question from parents and carers in our audience about how to support their children's mental health. Please note that may not be possible to respond to every question, but we will try.
Dr Bettina is unable to offer advice relating to your personal circumstances; specific questions should be referred to a qualified healthcare professional. This information should not be used to treat or diagnose your own or another person’s medical condition.
