I think I am going to need to do that. I boosted my mustang and now I am addicted to boost and want to do this to my fz 09. Expensive but the result is amazing.
+Paul Marmagne get it! it is a wheelie monster. make sure to get a 15, they fixed the throttle response and it is much smoother. I have a skorpion full exhaust and it spits fire when you shift at redline.
If Yamaha comes out with a R9, you could theoretically turbocharge it and make more power than the R1. The FZ09 also weighs 30lbs less than the R1 meep in mind. That power to weight is insane, as well as it could still be used on track. Definitely a 200mph bike in that setup
Hi guys I looked into this and was extremely happy what I found. I went on there website and for the MT07 just the kit without any tuning which you’ll HAVE to get done was a very reasonable £2500-£3000 . Now my first choice was the MT07 but fucked up by buying the CB500X 19model 47HP. So you can pick up a good second hand MT07 for £4000 add the £3000 for the full kit (without tune) and that would ONLY be £1000 more than what I paid for the CB500X. In the MT07 guise it pushes out 115WHP because their is a big difference in the A2 licence and the UK FULL 75HP MODEL so it looks like (very much) I’ll be doing this MAYBE THE MT09 stay tuned 200WHP not crank where you LOSE I’ve been told by local dyno shop around 20% SCOOBS UK.
Any particular reason the turbo wasn't designed to be mounted in a more traditional place, such as in front of the engine? Props on the clean and tidy assembly.
Many reasons actually, being a "street kit" having a longer header makes the turbo come on a bit softer which is much nicer for street riding this has the added benefit of being kinder to the stock engine internals as its a less sudden torque increase in the mid range, the extra weight from the turbo is centralized on the bike rather than just toward the front wheel, also it's a stealthier position for the turbo & to keep the cost of the kit as reasonable as we could.
Thanks for the explanation. I understand the reasons. Without opening up the CP3 and installing forged conrods and pistons, with ARP studs and beefy head gasket, I understand that boost has to be kept at safe levels and behavior. Seems the engine holds up really well as it is. I've seen other turbos running about 200 whp on this bike and holding up to lots of abuse. Yamaha makes good stuff. The MT/FZ-09 could actually use more weight toward the front, but I understand the reasons you've done the mid-ship mount.
Why a turbo kit for a naked bike? Seems like the nakeds are more about midrange torque and usable power. What kits do you offer for sportbikes? Been looking for one for an r6 but I can’t seem to find a kit I’m satisfied with.
Great work, could you let me know if the fZ-09 has an OBD II connector for diagnostics? and if not how are they run to get sensor info like speedo, revs .. ? cheers.
I have two questions. Where can i get a sander like this one 14:02? And at 20:20 isn't it recommendable to use some kind of heat isolation mesh on the oil drain tube of the oil pump assembly so that the exhaust pipe wont melt or damage it? Or is it high temperature resistent? Thanks, my regards, J
look for 10mm belt sander on ebay, about $50-$300 depending on brand. the oil drain hose is well clear of the exhaust so it doesn't need any heat wrap.
+Evan Davis A heat shield is not required as there is plenty of room between the tyre & the hot side of the turbo. Heavy duty clutch springs are an option in the kit.
motorcycle lengines are really tough with tighter tolerances and general higher quality than car engines, as these bikes make a lot of horsepower already, for their size. as long as you arent going insane with your boost you wont have to do anything
The turbo uses the oil for lubrication. So yes, you will need to add a bit more into oil the engine so it will get the correct amount going inside the engine and the turbo.
Any muffler could be adapted to work, you may need to modify the turbo outlet pipe to suit though. Also keep in mind where the muffler needs to sit on the bike & that some mufflers are larger than others so they may look a bit bulky in that position.
@@extcreat Yeah i found it thank you! But unfortunately $4k U.S is way out of my price range but if i could afford it i would totally do it! This is just awesome! Cheers from new york brother!
WAIT!!? Why did the rename the MT to the FZ? That seems just a bunch of unnecessary paperwork. Why not keep the same name for the US too? Tbh, i thought the FZ and MT was two completely different bikes.
For real. $6600 dollars and no full exhaust header? Nope. I don't care if it does come with a CNC intake plenum. The total cost of parts doesn't exceed $3000 as is. There is no reason to not include a full pipe .
Not sure where you live but around here a second hand H2 goes for about $24000 & a second hand MT09 with a new turbo kit would be about $14000 & a turbo MT09 is way more fun to ride without having to go warp speed.
@@extcreat Around me, about $16-17 will get you a used H2 quite easily. Good luck trying to keep the engine, transmission, and clutch alive on an 09 with a turbo. 😂
Last step is to carve out a large area on the front of the seat to make room for the riders gigantic balls.
I think I am going to need to do that. I boosted my mustang and now I am addicted to boost and want to do this to my fz 09. Expensive but the result is amazing.
+Jonathon Vince I have a mustang too and I'm getting an FZ 09 for this summer
+Paul Marmagne get it! it is a wheelie monster. make sure to get a 15, they fixed the throttle response and it is much smoother. I have a skorpion full exhaust and it spits fire when you shift at redline.
drichard12 How much HP added

Thats a very nice, well engineered kit. Nice work guy's. Need a setup like this for my FZ1.

before starting this video I thought it would be long and boring, but it was super interesting! Super simpel install actually :)
Great video and nice product but let down a little by the scavenge pump and line.. could this not be re-routed or made to look nicer?
Beautiful fitting piece of kit dude , everything in it fits were it should well thought out 😁😁🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Best modifications ! Every part assembles at best !M glad Thanks for the video 😋😋😋
Awesome kit, top stuff. I feel like getting an MT-09 or tracer now.

What is the cost and can you put one together for a 2005 FZ6?
Everything is better with boost!

this install is so clean!
fz07? possibly
get an 09 first...
Some would say buy an MT-10 or R1 instead of boosting the 09. Same logic.
Any plans on creating a turbo kit for the new 2021+ MT09?
By chance are you going to make a turbo kit for the
MT/FZ-10?
yes we will have one available in the next few months
What size turbine and compressor choice did you make, will help me understand
Excellent. What do you think you will be able to get out of it down the 1/4? And how do you keep the front end on the ground with that much grunt?
I couldnt keep the front tire on the ground EVER on mine.
I don't suppose you do a turbo kit for a Yamaha virago xv 125cc ?
Why a turbo kit for a naked bike? Seems like the nakeds are more about midrange torque and usable power. What kits do you offer for sportbikes? Been looking for one for an r6 but I can’t seem to find a kit I’m satisfied with.
I think so oxygen censor will be after turbo exhaust
hi, has anything changed in the engine? at what rpm did the turbine operate?
Great work, could you let me know if the fZ-09 has an OBD II connector for diagnostics? and if not how are they run to get sensor info like speedo, revs .. ? cheers.
Now how well would this kit work with a 18t sprocket?
amigo tenho uma 750 gsx f se colocar turbo tenho que forjar o motor?
I’d like to get a turbo for my r6
do you install super charge ? How much horse Power It added ?
Why is that "tank-hinge" not stock on every bike ever?
What about a turbo kit for a 2005 yamaha yzf r6 where can I find one somebody help me with this please
How much money cost this Kit Turbo ?
Please, post the link to buy...

Do you have the kit for the kawasaki z800??? Or if you know where can i get one?
Turbo pentru Kawasaki z900?
Assemble a kit for these yamaha xj6 ???
No heat shield for between the turbo and tire ? No inter cooler ? No clutch upgrade ?
+Evan Davis A heat shield is not required as there is plenty of room between the tyre & the hot side of the turbo. Heavy duty clutch springs are an option in the kit.
extcreat Cheers :-)
$6600?!?!? FUUUUUUUUUCK
I was gonna say that looks expensive...
$127 there are turbo for bikes over there head there
everything in Australia is expensive /petrol especially 1.70 a litre 7.60 a gallon
ha ha,in my country(in my town) i buy one apartament(true not central)with this money···
Pretty normal price for a kit thats this complete and easy to install
Do you giys make turbo kit's for 2008 suzuki gsxr 1000 as well?
No we dont sorry.
do you need reinstall an ECU ??
Yes they reflash it for you or you can download the mapping to your power commander.
Where do i get a turbo kit?
What turbo was used here?
A secret Turbo only included in the Kit :)
How does this not require engine work? It won't melt anything or blow it up?
motorcycle lengines are really tough with tighter tolerances and general higher quality than car engines, as these bikes make a lot of horsepower already, for their size. as long as you arent going insane with your boost you wont have to do anything
Turbo-Kit use engine's oil... true?... is necessary add more oil than 2400 cm3 ?
The turbo uses the oil for lubrication. So yes, you will need to add a bit more into oil the engine so it will get the correct amount going inside the engine and the turbo.
It's negligible. at most 1/4 liter more oil.
this motorbike is awesome too much
Where can i buy this?
Qual valor do kit convertido em reais
How can i order thes cet
Hey Extremecreations...
Do you sell ZX-12R turbo kits..?
No we don't sorry.
What 1/4 mile time did the bike in the video run?
9s
Ok but, does it make engine less life expectancy?
no man, not at all. not on sub 10psi boost
@@AridersLifeYT ok but power output is more than 50% increased. What about mechanical elements?
Please tell me i am able to buy this and get it shipped to the USA?
Yes there's a link to our store in the description
So this would possibly fit a XSR 900 ? Same engine isnt it? :D
good point, isnt the XSR tank totally different?
can i use other mufflers? like akrapovic and austin racing?
Any muffler could be adapted to work, you may need to modify the turbo outlet pipe to suit though. Also keep in mind where the muffler needs to sit on the bike & that some mufflers are larger than others so they may look a bit bulky in that position.
Ok, Thanks
where can i get turbo kit for 2018 Yamaha mt 10 ?
halo raider1 we make them as well , www.extremecreations.com.au/yamaha-mt10-fz10-turbo-kit
thanks for the link
next month i will be visiting your workshop with my bike i'm from Maldives :)
Hello, What exhaust is fitted?
SP Engineering www.spengineering.co.uk/
pro dude
Have you got a kit for an R6? How much would it cost?
awesome
Hi 👋 where can I buy this kit?
The link to our store is in the description
@@extcreat thank you. Wish my dream - turbo on my mt09 will be reality 👌 Do you sent in Russia?
Can you fit a blow off valve? Random I know but could suit it
The kit comes with a Turbosmart Kompact blow off valve.
Will this work on an r1
No, the R1 is a 4 cylinder engine the MT09 is a 3 cylinder. Completely different.
death death and some more death. I can't imagine my fz09 with an extra 50-60 hp. too much death
Jonathon Vince pussy
Almost 100hp extra man. 207hp on the dyno. Stocks around 115hp.
Well you can't have the stock suspension supporting that kind of power. Rear squats, front lifts, weight shifts, and it's a unicycle.
How much power does a turbo add to a bike?
Our kit adds 60-85hp to the stock motor depending on what options are ordered & potentially more than 130hp with other internal engine modification..
extcreat , do you only have kits for the fz-9 or could i put this on a different bike
We currently only make kits for the MT09/FZ09 & the MT10/FZ10
Ok thanks
extcreat do u make for fz 07?
Any dyno numbers?
th-cam.com/video/6RUW2Xh0HoE/w-d-xo.html
Not sure why no bike companies are making boosted bikes from the factory. Well, aside from wanting to kill their market literally.
Anyone got a link to this kit?
Link is now in the description
@@extcreat Yeah i found it thank you! But unfortunately $4k U.S is way out of my price range but if i could afford it i would totally do it! This is just awesome! Cheers from new york brother!

WAIT!!? Why did the rename the MT to the FZ? That seems just a bunch of unnecessary paperwork. Why not keep the same name for the US too? Tbh, i thought the FZ and MT was two completely different bikes.
MT Means Master OF Torque, Yamaha USA decided to name them FZ for no reason, Every other country calls them MT
It's a novel idea. For that kind of money, just get a faster bike.
Some people don't want a faster bike. They want their bike to be faster.
Got damn
Not impressed... Its still can't beat my stock honda rebel 400 🤔🤔
uses a stock head pipe?
that is enough for me to say NO! make complete or at least find a source for your customers.

Supply and demand, they won't sell a lot of kits so they have to make enough money to cover r&d and to make a decent profit
ivale ko tipo
Price of kit plus price of MT-09 equals used Kawasaki H2. Just saying...
Not sure where you live but around here a second hand H2 goes for about $24000 & a second hand MT09 with a new turbo kit would be about $14000 & a turbo MT09 is way more fun to ride without having to go warp speed.

The music killed this video. Way too distracting and makes ya have to focus way too hard just to understand you. I'm sorry but I couldn't watch it.
Didn't even realize there was music before I'd watched it all and read comments bitching about it.
