Update December 20, 2013. I am working on the footage that has been requested, or as much as I can, I expect to be done, weather provided, first week of the new year. Thanks for all the positive feedback.
I really enjoyed and agreed with this review, having owned a UK version Yamaha MT-09 (same as the US FZ-09) for 3 weeks now. It is such a pleasure to see and hear somebody with much more riding experience than myself making the points and comments in this review. I have no problem with the fuelling, the suspension, the brakes, the chassis, the handling or anything I have heard other people find flaws with in other reviews. I took one out on test for 2 hours and I wasn't able to understand 2 things about it: 1. How have they managed to sell the bike at the price they have when it's so good and such high quality? 2. How is there so much power all the time from the engine and yet my 2 hour test ride returned an average 57 mpg? I was convinced there must be some wizardry and witchcraft involved in the engine on the bike but I knew I had to have one so I could experience the feeling again and again. I know that every day I will have more fun on this bike than any of the others I was looking at when I was shopping for a new bike. Well done sir.
yesterday, purchased the same version FZ-09 that you have, the liquid graphite model. what an awesome bike. all because of your review. I had an 07 cbr 600 rr but love this bike. drove it home more than 30 miles from the dealer with no problem at all. thanks again for the excellent review.
I just got my 2015 model about 2 weeks ago. I love it! I will agree with the critics on the suspension in respect to front fork drop, though that is easily remedied. I look forward to your video on adjusting it. The fueling is awesome. I ride mostly in "B" mode, but only because I'm trying to tame myself during the break in period. Awesome Review! I look forward to seeing future videos on this bike.
Wow, what a review. I listened to this on my commute home from work. Very detailed and answered a lot of questions for me between the Street triple and FZ-09. Thumbs-up on the review!
Thank you for making this in depth review, which is clearly the most detailed and best of all on youtube. It really helped me with making an informed decision about buying this bike.
Note: Expect to see Part 2 of this video, with an update and I will be adding additional footage of the bike in canyon, along with answers to a lot of posted questions.
Best and most detailed review of this bike I have seen yet !...I am in the UK and will now be definitely be ordering the European MT 09 version with ABS and Acroprovic exhaust. I was concerned about reports of the snatchy throttle response and soft suspension but you have put my mind at rest in this regard....many thanks !
thanks for taking the time to do this. i read a lot of mixed reviews on this bike, and you seemed to sum up all of my questions and concerns. now i just need to find somewhere to test ride one... ha
Great video. Had no problem watching all 60 minutes of it. I also would love to see a video on how your guy set up the suspension. This may be asking a lot but as you can see, many of us would love to see it. Thanks.
Thank you for your review. It is really nice to see and hear an active, non-biased review from someone who has experience with the street triple. Great comparison. You have helped me make my decision! Can't wait to see a follow-up review from you!!!
Man, I'm so glad I found this review! I was at my local bank yesterday, and saw a bike locked up in jail, lol repo. They were closed so I went back today, to see exactly what it was, man it's a 2014 FZ09 the red model. Not a scratch with 800 miles. 6000.00 now I was worried about all these reviews on the fueling and the suspension, but 6 grand for a like new bike. I think I'm going to pull the trigger, after I take it for a spin. Thanks dude great review!! I feel so much better!
Great review! I was looking around waiting for someone in the states to post a vlog about this bike. It's been 8 years since I lived down there and your video just had me reminiscing. Your video has me on a high. Thanks bud! Now, time to check out your other vlogs. Peace
Hard to do a motorcycle review while riding. Prone to a lot of rambling and random thoughts. I am very sad to hear about the poor fuel economy and the lack of analog tac. I would love to ride this bike and feel the engine! Glad to hear you love the Yamaha FZ09.
This is completely bizarre, you live very close to where I grew up and this ride takes place on the same roads that I take when I'm out for a drive without getting too far from home. Really nice to have that perspective!
Great review, I have an 2009 Yamaha FJR-1300, I bought new and Like very well. After watching your review I am now salivating over the Yamaha FJ-09. I could never part with FJR because it is so practical. I hope to buy the FJ-09 but will wait a couple years to see what improvements they will hopefully make. Thank You.
Great review! I'm a commuter riding from Murrieta to Poway during the work week. Went from the 2007 SV650S ABS to a 2009 Kawasaki Concours 14 ABS, to get a better freeway ride and more upright riding style. Considering switching to this FZ-09 to make splitting lanes a little easier on the 15N. Too bad no ABS! I really prefer the extra safety feature. With your review, I intend to make the switch this spring, thanks for the awesome review.
Outstanding review. Honestly, this is one of the best and most in depth reviews I've seen on a motorcycle and it really helped me come to a decision on a future purchase. Thanks and keep up the good work!
I've been looking hard at this bike and actually was approved today from Yamaha,, VERY excited about the bike and I really enjoyed your thorough review !! Thanks for the very concise information
Great review. I have an 06 Honda 919. - People complain about this and that but Yamaha as you said, really made this bike a nice machine out of the crate. For the price point, it looks like a great machine. Even my 919 was complained about in one way or another but once I'm riding it, fun and it works. You hit on every point people might want to hear about. I can only own one bike and I like naked bikes.
I'm surprised that you are so thrilled with this bike having come off a panigale, I know its way more comfortable for sure the yamaha!! But, the fact that you love it so much makes me really want one.
Loved your reviews and with 500 miles on my FZ-09, I couldn't agree with you more. Maybe I just got a "good one" but I think the fun factor is a 10. Mine was 9 grand out the door with a 4 year extended warranty! Bang for the Buck, nothing else even comes close in my opinion.
I couldn't agree with you more on this review. I recently purchased a 2016 FZ09 and was worried about all the negative suspension reviews until I rode it. Sure its not an aggressive track setup, but its actually pretty decent for a commuter that you plan to occasionally ride aggressively. The engine is a monster for its size. I can't comment on the fueling however. Mine has the new throttle mapping, but I still agree with your description of what the individual modes are for. I used to have a first gen FZ1, and except for having a little less on the top end I feel the FZ09 is better every where else. I fell the only thing that was left off, that there is no excuse for, is a helmet lock. Its a super cheap feature that wouldn't have changed the price at all, but at the same time it's super easy to add. That's my only negative really. It's a great all around, do all bike and I can't wait to put more miles on this thing.
Great review, great review. It is one of the best motorcycles reviews I've seen in a long time here in TH-cam. Also, it seems you really know what you are talking about. And the quality of the video is fantastic! Thanks for sharing. I just have a quick question and I know this is a more subjective topic than anything else. But between the ST and the fz09, which one you find more comfortable? I used to own a ST (was totaled due an accident, not my fault) and my feet feel cramped after a 20 to 30 min trip.
I know you said it's not a beginner bike, but I don't want to get a bike that I wouldn't be happy with 250-500cc bike. Not to mention, the naked bikes don't grab the attention of the police like street bikes do in Arizona. Awesome review and very detailed!
Killer review man! And so refreshing to listen to such a well thought out synopsis from the point of view of a real world rider. Like you, I was having some reservations about this bike due to the magazine reviews but you have helped me set those aside, and I will definitely be pulling the trigger on this one very soon!
Just a quick word on prep. I turn wrenches at at Yamaha dealership. To go through a complete pre delivery inspection on a bike takes a solid hour. To build from a crate your looking at half an hour. That's 1.5-2.0 hours the sales department is getting charged by the service dept. it's not all bs.
One thought I also had about the bike slowing down so much is the lack of farings/windshield . There will be a lot of wind resistance. amazing review btw
FLuxx43, GREAT review dude. I have been back riding for a little over a year, after being away for 25yrs, been riding a cruiser, but am in love with this bike and am thinking of getting one in February. I only ride on weekends and love riding, this bike will be my weekend journey bike thru the backroads of middle Tennessee. At one point I could hear the smile on your face...that sold me...gotta go watch video #2 :)
Greetings from a fellow MT-09 rider from UK! :) Good review. Watched it all with interest! One thing I would like to see is a video showing and explaining suspention adjustments that you can have on this bike. A video for total noobs so to say, with literally demonstrations of what to turn, by how much and what will it change. I'm a relatively new rider and I've not really have a clear idea about rebound dampenings, compressions, etc. and would be very interested to learn what can be done to bikes and specifically MT-09/FZ-09. I, personally, find the suspention to be good but it feels like it's a bit too soft in the front. I wouldn't mind adjusting but don't want to turn any bolts without understanding what would happen :)
In fact I like it so much I've just put an order in for one. $14500 NZ money on road. I'm currently riding the Triumph Tiger 800xc and I love the 3 cylinder config.
First off, I would like to say thank you. You gave a very very good review which I really appreciate. You have earned yourself a sub. You did an awesome job describing what the pros and cons were to both motorcycles which puts you in a less bias position making your choice to get an fz-09 even better. I now have much better feeling in my stomach about my choice to get one. Thanks
I think if your not dragging your knee on the street, which I don't.And your not taking the bike to track days.Than I think the suspension is fine when you adjust it for yourself.
This might be the best motorcycle review I've ever seen. Better than the pro's. Calm and complete, two thumbs up! I'm coming of a 1998 VFR right now, which I absolutely love, and which ticks all of my boxes, but I do want to change :-) What is your take on two-up riding and touring with this bike? It's the one thing that is holding me back right now. Went to look at it today in a dealership and will testride soon, but I wanted to know your thoughts on touring (500km/day) There are no passenger grabrails and the footpegs seem high. And for the rider, the handlebar seems very, very wide. I like a bit of forward lean.
I totally agree with you about this bike,i think the fuelling is perfect though...each map is 'perfect 'for its intended use ..thats why it has a choice of maps !!!!!...if you're having problems with the fuelling in any given situation then you're in the wrong map!!!! its all very simple....the suspension is set up for maximum movement at speeds up to 100 mph ...thats where this bike is designed for...the movement of the bike and the intense acceleration is what makes this bike soooo much fun to ride ...anyone who doesn't get this ...wont get it ...!!! we do !!!!!.FAB REVIEW....!!!!
First of all, thank you for this review. Detailed, informative, and an eye opener. I'm in the market for a new bike since getting rid of my HD Ultra but wanted a street/sportier bike this time around. Been looking at reviews for the FZ 09 and FZ07 as well as the FZ6R. The negative reviews found was also turning me off as you mentioned. Now the FZ 09 is at the top of my list. Have you had a chance to ride the FZ07? If so, thoughts? I usually never leave comments but again thank you so much for sharing.
From belgium, We don't got the FZ-09 but its called the MT-09. It rains alot here.. but this bike comes with an standard ABS system here ! Very good review. I was also thinking about getting a street triple R wich was my favorite nude bike (cus i loved to get a KTM 690 SMCR but ain't that well for long travels and i'm kind of a traveller!) , every review said that the yamaha wasn't good.. suspention is bad.. etc etc. Till i test drove it just because my friend told me to (he owns a kawa z750 and has alot of torque but said that the MT-09 was from another planet!). This is an amazing bike ! And i'm sure getting this one. Street triple R is an amazing bike and i would get it if: A) He wasn't so expensive. It costs like 2-3 K more then the yamaha. B) I'm a tall man (200cm think thats like 6feet9 or 10) and the striple R is so tiny when i'm on it. C) The yamaha is an all around motorcylce. I actually went OFF ROAD with this ! (it was the MT-09 RALLY, other suspention, other weel's on it and some designe stuff) Those are my 3 points why this will be my next bike!
Thinking of trading in my 2007 Bandit 1250 s for something lighter but just as fast or faster. Would like your opinion. Does the Fz 09 qualify and what would be a better choice than FZ in a similar bike category. Like your critique a lot...
awesome review my man, i'm looking to get onto a street bike for the first time and your reviews are awesome. I've been riding dirt bikes since I could walk and i'm really leaning towards the fz-09 for its more upright stance. what are your thoughts?
Watched your entire review since I've been very interested in the FZ-09 since details came out. I ride a 07 FZ6 so this bike would be something I might be interested in getting. Thanks again for doing a ride review to counter the various web reviews which had been a bit more critical of the bike's fueling and suspension.
Usually I would not sit through an hour long review, however, this was done really well and pretty much sold me on an fz9 even though I was thinking of buying the 8. Now all I need is $8500. (Minor details really) I have a Harley 1200 sportster that a friend sold me. But that's not really my cup of tea, it just fills the void of having 2 wheeled transport (the best) till I can get what I really want, the Fz-09. Anyway great review.
You may have swayed me back to FZ-09 form FZ-07.. I was steering away based on exactly the issues you mentioned reviewers were saying about suspension and twitchy fueling. I've owned a Bandit 1200, Hayabusa, and CBR1000RR.. and the acceleration here seems like it would be pleasing to me vs a lesser bike. I have some questions: 1: How much do you weigh and what did you change to the suspension settings to make it feel good to you. 2: How are these videos being recorded without the wind noise being annoying. How is it all set up? Thank you!
Great review! I'm looking to get my first bike come Springtime and considered a bunch of bikes in the 300-650cc range. Ninja 300, 650, ER-6N and the Honda CBR500RA were some of the top contenders. I mainly want to do some light riding on the weekends and a few trips here and there with one of my buddies. Thing is, I don't really care for touring and sport bikes and find the looks/ergonomics of naked bikes right up my alley. The ER-6N was really the best option out of the ones I mentioned. I recently sat on the FZ-09 and immediately fell in love with it. I watched your entire video and near the end you said for beginners to stay away from it. Is it really that bad of an idea to get this as my first bike? I was afraid it would be too powerful, but after speaking to Yamaha, they said that a lot of beginner riders underestimate the power they might need/be able to handle. Also, the B mode sounds ideal for people concerned with this problem. I really wish this bike was available in a 650cc flavor. Thoughts?
Excellent review from a street rider. You're right...the magazine guys are looking for hardcore stuff, so they lose the regular day to day riding. I'm also looking at a Honda CB500F, which is not in the same league, but in the same genre of bikes. I've owned an R1 and other fast bikes and don't care about going THAT fast. I noticed you never got over 100MPH. So you've convinced me that all I need is that CB, maybe... With the CB that gets 70 MPG at least I can preach to Prius drivers!
Great review.i agree some reviews here in the Uk really moan about the fueling.I took a demo bike out and was suprised by the power and torque. If you ride around in traffic in A mode, yes snatchy throttle. But switch to B mode and all sorted.Id luv to fly the flag for Triumph been from the Uk but the Tripple R is so much more to buy i think id pick the Yam every day.Ride safe my friend. Mark
Thanks a lot for the amazing review. Just like you mentioned I was thrown off because people kept mentioning that the fueling and the suspension was bad. But now I am convinced that its not gonna be a problem at all.
Hey man, greatly appreciate the effort put into this video. I'd love to see one explaining what settings and how you adjusting the suspension. I just picked up my fz-09 a few days ago
I have been following this bike for a long time now. That was a great review and it removed some reservation i have had due to some other reviews. While not able to purcase one at the moment, i am confident i will own one in the near future. Thanks again for a great video
That's a very nice part of La Jolla that you live in. I have a friend that lives just a few blocks away from you. Oh, nice bike too. I'm thinking of either getting this or maybe a Triumph Street Triple R.
So I had a 2007 Yamaha R6S (my first motorcycle) until the engine blew out because the previous owner didn't treat it right...Either way I loved my R6S craving turns and the power but I am currently looking for a new motorcycle and I want to buy a brand new motorcycle instead of a used....So I was wondering would this motorcycle be too much for me to handle...I did well on my R6S but I never really pushed myself too far because I was afraid I would crash and ruin my motorcycle....so yea would this motorcycle would be too much....its in my budget, looks amazing, with an Akraprovic exhaust it sounds amazing and its made by Yamaha my favorite motorcycle manufacture
Excellent video! 1. What camera/mic setup do you use? I'm guessing a GoPro camera (it looked like the shape of one in the shadow). 2. I'd guess you're originally from Canada..(I'm good with accent nuances) Indulge me..am I right? 3. Do you also review SUV's? You had 3 or 4 in your driveway! :-) Thanks again for the awesome review.
Hey, great detailed review vids. You got me interested in this bike. I"m in the socal area. What are the dealers that will give me a good price on this bike?
Would you recommend this bike for a beginner? I'm looking for a cheap naked style bike and I fell in love with the one, but what do you suggest please and thank you! Great video you actually took you time with it so thank you sooo much
Excellent review but I did have a question for you, do you think there is enough adjustability in the suspension to accommodate a 200lb rider, I know you got it set up for your size (not sure what you weigh though) but that is my biggest concern around buying this bike.
i really want to hear your thoughts on the panigale! I'm currently looking for a switch and can't decide between the RSV4 and Panigale, i hope you will do a review on it soon!
You compare this constantly to the Triumph but what about the Ducati Hypermotard / Strada 821? I like the Duc's longer wheelbase for stability but still very much a hooligan bike. It has ABS/Slipper clutch which I like, light offroad ability with SP suspension model and then touring ability with all the Strada accessories. Yes it costs more so I'm trying to decide if it's worth it or if I should just get this FZ-09? Any thoughts?
Great review! And so true! I tried the MT09 in the Netherlands this morning: fantastisc! I currently have a KTM Duke 690. The only thing which prevent me to buy the Yam right now is the f*** dutch winter weather and all the salt on the roads:-( This motor bike is sooooo good! Your video just makes me even more sure about my choice to buy this bike;-)
I've had my '14 FZ for a month now and I do agree. The fueling is fine unless you're a ham-handed n00b and the suspension is fine unless you don't know how to set it up or are used to super stiff suspension that barely moves.
great review! I like the resolution on the camera and you really touched everything. Yamaha should hook you up i'm sure you've sold quite a few with this review. Nice TDI suv
Hey Fluxx, I just bought this bike despite some of the negative reviews as well. Havent even rode it yet and Im coming off a Drz 400SM so Im pretty excited. Wondering did you get the extended 3 year warranty or did you feel it wasnt needed?
Great video I learned alot! Ive been riding an R6 the last year. Wouldn't call myself an experienced rider (no track experience etc). I just like cruising to work etc, and hitting the throttle on open road. Would you recommend this bike to a commuter in a congested city like Miami? Unfortunately my R6 was stolen recently from an apt garage that was gated. Any advice on how to prevent my bike from getting stolen in the future? Thanks again for all the tips.
Great review and agree with you on every single aspect- more or less! I was wondering what are your settings for t he suspension, front and rear? My bike seems to be set up in between soft and hard but yeah, I think a little stiffer could be better- never been unsettled though, even on big bumps in the road.
How would you compare this to the Monster 1100? I'm a big fan of V-Twins and haven't had any experience with triples. I want to give Yamaha a shot with the FZ-09!
i'v been riding Yamaha bikes since the 70's and they were very good so by now i'm sure there are great i'll be buying a fz09 one of these days.
Finally a decent bike review on the FZ 09 so thankful very entertaining I'm sold!!!
This is by far the best bike review I have ever seen on TH-cam.
Update December 20, 2013. I am working on the footage that has been requested, or as much as I can, I expect to be done, weather provided, first week of the new year. Thanks for all the positive feedback.
I watched the whole thing in one sitting. Extremely informative and well worth my time.
Thank You Very Much!!

Thanks for taking the time to share your insight on your FZ-09. I'm purchasing mine this week, and your review erased any doubt.

Best review of the FZ-09 I've seen. Thanks for the information. You only solidify my decision to get this bike.

I've been researching for a while and after finding this video I think I'm sold. A+++ on the review. Cheers.
Luke Chisholm Thank you!

Best review/Vlog I've seen TH-cam. Great job, man.
Hard to do a motorcycle review while riding. Prone to a lot of rambling and random thoughts. I am very sad to hear about the poor fuel economy and the lack of analog tac. I would love to ride this bike and feel the engine! Glad to hear you love the Yamaha FZ09.
Almost half way through the video and really enjoying your opinion. Thank you for this :)
Thanks for the compliments!!
Just got this exact bike yesterday and love it.

One of the best review found right now, Thanks.
Thank You!
Best most unbiased review I have seen! Great job!
Watchin' it again, such a good review!
Thank You
I've been looking hard at this bike and actually was approved today from Yamaha,, VERY excited about the bike and I really enjoyed your thorough review !! Thanks for the very concise information
Jim Harris Thats awesome, have fun on it, let me know how it goes.
Great video, went to look at it today in the orange color.Bike was a demo and already sold for 1,000.00 over.Have fun.
I was interested in this bike when I first saw it but put off by the reviews you mentioned. Thanks for setting the record straight.
Great review. I have an 06 Honda 919. - People complain about this and that but Yamaha as you said, really made this bike a nice machine out of the crate.
Thank you for making this video, I think I know what bike I'm getting next!!
Awesome Review! I cant thank you enough for spending the time to do a proper and honest review! Much appreciated!
Very Nice Review! It was a pleasure to watch you ride this bike for an hour! Thanks!
Thank You!
Thank You Sir!!
Just a quick word on prep. I turn wrenches at at Yamaha dealership. To go through a complete pre delivery inspection on a bike takes a solid hour. To build from a crate your looking at half an hour. That's 1.5-2.0 hours the sales department is getting charged by the service dept. it's not all bs.
i watched the whole video and now i really want to get the fz-09 as my first bike :) fantastic review btw :D
At one point I could hear the smile on your face...that sold me...gotta go watch video #2 :)
haha thank you, I think you will love the bike
Greetings from a fellow MT-09 rider from UK! :)
Good review.
I am working on a bunch of videos, I hope with the holiday passing to be able to get that all done.
Awesome! Hope to see some good stuff coming out of you :) Videos I mean :D
I will be doing the best I can to make as many videos I can and hope to answer all the questions. Thanks for the feedback.
Thanks for review. I am getting one soon here in Thailand with the price tag of USD 14,000 and 2 months waiting period. Enjoy the ride. Cheers
Thanks
Thanks very much!
Great video! You changed my mind about the bike, very detailed, and important key points to discuss, good job!
For the people who own this bike how is the comfort on it? Curious how the comfort compares to fz-07
I think if your not dragging your knee on the street, which I don't.And your not taking the bike to track days.Than I think the suspension is fine when you adjust it for yourself.
This might be the best motorcycle review I've ever seen. Better than the pro's.
Calm and complete, two thumbs up!
I'm coming of a 1998 VFR right now, which I absolutely love, and which ticks all of my boxes, but I do want to change :-)
What is your take on two-up riding and touring with this bike? It's the one thing that is holding me back right now. Went to look at it today in a dealership and will testride soon, but I wanted to know your thoughts on touring (500km/day)
There are no passenger grabrails and the footpegs seem high.
Great review, Ive had 2 SV 650's so far and haven't ridden in around 3 years but I really want this bike.
Great review. I just picked one up yesterday, love the bike so far! Temecula here.
awesome review my man, i'm looking to get onto a street bike for the first time and your reviews are awesome. I've been riding dirt bikes since I could walk and i'm really leaning towards the fz-09 for its more upright stance. what are your thoughts?
Thanks for sharing your thoughts about the bike ... I'm sold on FZ09
Watched your entire review since I've been very interested in the FZ-09 since details came out. I ride a 07 FZ6 so this bike would be something I might be interested in getting. Thanks again for doing a ride review to counter the various web reviews which had been a bit more critical of the bike's fueling and suspension.
Thanks, make sure to watch part 2 as well. Part 3 coming soon
Great view and thank you. I ride the FZ8 and I am wondering if you have ever ridden the FZ8 and in turn would have a comparison of it to the FZ-09?
Usually I would not sit through an hour long review, however, this was done really well and pretty much sold me on an fz9 even though I was thinking of buying the 8. Now all I need is $8500. (Minor details really) I have a Harley 1200 sportster that a friend sold me. But that's not really my cup of tea, it just fills the void of having 2 wheeled transport (the best) till I can get what I really want, the Fz-09. Anyway great review.
Thanks very much!
I have some questions:
1: How much do you weigh and what did you change to the suspension settings to make it feel good to you.
Great review. I'm thinking of upgrading from my Ninja 300 in a year or so. It will be between this, ZX6R, or an R6.
Mark
Thanks a lot for this fantastic review!!! I would be interested in your suspension settings to improve it over the stock settings.
Thanks a lot for the amazing review. Just like you mentioned I was thrown off because people kept mentioning that the fueling and the suspension was bad. But now I am convinced that its not gonna be a problem at all.
Not at all, if you find an issue, keep in mind its a very easy problem to fix. I however have no issue with mine.
Hey man, greatly appreciate the effort put into this video. I'd love to see one explaining what settings and how you adjusting the suspension. I just picked up my fz-09 a few days ago
Working on a video with that info
I have been following this bike for a long time now. That was a great review and it removed some reservation i have had due to some other reviews. While not able to purcase one at the moment, i am confident i will own one in the near future. Thanks again for a great video
Thanks for the feedback!
That's a very nice part of La Jolla that you live in. I have a friend that lives just a few blocks away from you. Oh, nice bike too. I'm thinking of either getting this or maybe a Triumph Street Triple R.
Thanks Eric!!
Thanks for the review I currently own a RC8R and looking for a second bike and the FZ-09 has my attention.
Thanks again for the awesome review.
Hey, great detailed review vids. You got me interested in this bike. I"m in the socal area. What are the dealers that will give me a good price on this bike?
are these kinds of bikes comfortable for going on long trips like 100+ miles?
Where in San Diego do you recommend buying it, every dealer I talked to wants $1000 over sticker!
Great video!!!
Thanks
$1000 over sticker!!! What dealer is that? I would not consider a penny over MSRP on this bike. Id say a good deal is around 8500-9k OTD.
I've been riding dirt bikes (kx450) for many years and was considering this one as my first road bike. Do you think it would be a good choice?
The only thing which prevent me to buy the Yam right now is the f*** dutch winter weather and all the salt on the roads:-(
This motor bike is sooooo good!
Your video just makes me even more sure about my choice to buy this bike;-)
Thanks for great review. I really enjoyed your comment. Can't wait to see canyon ride!
Should be uploaded in the next week or two, just trying to get time for get all my footage together.
How much did you pay to get the suspension setup BTW great review thank you
How would you compare this to the Monster 1100? I'm a big fan of V-Twins and haven't had any experience with triples. I want to give Yamaha a shot with the FZ-09!
