What I love about replaying games is the feeling you get that just takes you back to what you were doing and how your life was like when you first played the game. I can’t quite describe the feeling but it’s a good feeling.

I’ve only replayed a handful of “single player/story experience” games, but from my experience it always takes me right back to when I first played it. My favorite game ever is MK Shaolin Monks, and I’ve beaten it many times, especially with my brother, but to this day if we ever wanna beat it again there’s no reservations. Knowing the game super well has only enhanced my experiences

I agree you don't want to play those great games too much. Replaying to find extra value is always a nice thing although if you aren't getting a good experience the first time there's little incentive to replay that game again.

I just went back and 100% both Jak 1 and 2. Reminded me of our playthrough of Jak 1 last year haha. This is probably my favorite video you've made on the channel. A lot of what you talk about game replayability rings true. Hope you've been well Jude

I love replaying games, i'm a big nostalgia gamer, it taps into that comfy feeling in my soul, Its a great thing to do after a hard day of work, to sit down and those few hours, revisit something that i loved, and still love so much, something like the first Diablo, Half Life, Oblivion, Morrowind, Vampire Masqurade:Redemption and many more, it's just a great fun, and this was a great video!

my third playthrough of Cyberpunk: 2077 broke the hold that multiplayer PvP games had on my gaming experience. i hit playthrough six a couple months ago, and now i’m going back and playing some of my other favorites for a second time, first RDR2 and now GTAV. replaying single player games reminds me about what i love about the medium, and inspires me to play new experiences rather than falling back on my go-to multiplayer shooters

Spec Ops - The Line i believe is a game that HAS to be replayed at least once to get a better understanding of the story and have a different perspective on some of the story moments. I definitely appreciated it more on my second and also thirt playthrough.

I have 400 hours in GTAV Story mode. I didnt ever try speed running it. I was just enjoying it. Tbf tho, its been over 4 years since I last played single player (i also have 1500 hours in online)
I have multiple saves at 100%, and I mean, like nothing left undone 100%, not what the game calls 100%, i also have a save file with negitive 2 billion before that was patched (8bit interger problem) and I rarely even tried alternate heist routes, albeit I have done them all but some only once.
Ive replayed GTA IV a handleful of times and since the GTA6 trailer ive started up another playthrough. I started with GTA4 because it was my first GTA I legally purchased and I played it alot, about 800 hours on PS3 back in the day.
I have played through the stories of all the PS2 era and GTA 1 and 2 as well but not newrly as indepth as 4 and 5.
If you can count it i also have played Forza Horizons series, especially #3 where I held PR stunt WRs for many of them as well as being in the top 10 legit overall (theres a points glitch that was discovered about 8 months after release, I'm still top 200 iirc including cheaters overall). I have 10k hours into the franchise (3-4k hours in FH3 alone) and will semi regularly go back and play FH3 story and try to pb on pr stunts.

GTA IV and V are frequent replays for me. Thanks for watching!
