I know this is silver and I shouldn’t expect much, but the answer here was to swap zen just long enough to get the elim or force rein to go away then swap back if he really wanted to stay on Ana that bad
This is the hardest I ever laughed watching an Overwatch video but I feel her pain. As someone who plays tank and support I wish someone would try and harass my supports like that. I would never let that happen to my support.

But if I was this Ana, I would have went Bap or zen and broke shield from in spawn and just ripped him a new one. As a support player I’ve had an experience like this where I was targeted by a rein as Ana because I killed him early in the match and he was angry, the difference is I killed him two more times after that including at the very end of the match. I know he was fuming 😂
I honestly think that it's a mistake for rein to mess with a support the entire game, because having a tank is better than having a support, so if I'm the support in that game I'm happy that the rein wastes his time on a character less valuable than himself
This game has everything, suspense, drama, action, comedy, i dont think anyone could have wrote a better story

But this might be the funniest OW game I've seen. That Reinhardt was just so dedicated to his mission. 12:49 when you're like Ana check behind you and you just hear "Hammer Do.." is peak fiction.
The camera work done by Emongg makes it 100 times funnier. The slow turn around when the rein solo ulted the ana from behind. IT killed me. Keep up the amazing work

I know this Ana's pain. I was rooting for her to be able to slip past the Rein every time. It was satisfying to see her kind of troll him at the end of the match and that he alone cost his team the game.
When I first started playing OW1 on PC back in like 2017/18, I was placed in like high Bronze, low Silver and I've had this exact thing happen to me. It is extraordinarily frustrating to be in that position, especially as a low rank player who is still figuring out the game. I have to tip my hat to the Ana for continuing to try and escape spawn and also just keeping their Rein occupied.
As for the Rein - and this is just my opinion - I do have a hard time respecting players who go out of their way to bully one person on the enemy team for no reason. Especially when it's a tank v support or a tank v damage. I know it's just part of the game and such, but that doesn't mean I have to like it.
It's just conjecture but I think with how they were acting they might have been a smurf or deranker, and those kinds of people often play entirely to bully others in the first place :/
Nah this is nothing compared to playing Ana in Total Mayhem back when Shitfist was an abuse machine and would just permalock u in a stun the moment u walk out of spawn. And to add a spit on the wound from the devs where they nerfed Ana's dart so she can't keep someone sleeping all the time but allowed that sack of crap abuse ppl

This rein reminded me of one I encountered recently. They seem to have something against me cause they keep on just trying to kill me to the point where they go the sneaky routes and just start swinging when they see me. I'm fortunate that my team noticed the pattern ( i kept on pinging the rein and basically almost spamming when I hit the sleep dart) and we won due to the peel and basically almost melting them eveytime. The experience was... interesting. and harrowing. lmao.

My friend was a support when this kept happening to him with Sombra. In the end we just let it happen because we kept holding the point and eventually won, because the Sombra (who had the most kills) spent the entire time spawn trapping our Mercy but not helping her team push cart. So if it's working, no-one's coming for you lol
I had this happen to me as soldier at one point. It was on Gibraltar and I had a wrecking ball that wouldn’t let me leave spawn. I pretty much came to the conclusion that in the 4v4 that was happening on point it was worse for them to be down a tank than for us to be down a DPS. We won that game
I'm a Silver 2 support and it's so frustrating having teams that don't punish stupid tanks like this Rein. Trying to crawl out of this Ello on console is hell, despite being plat on tank.

Ive noticed if you pick mercy than swap off. They treat you as if you are still mercy. They hard focus 1 single support and the whole team falls apart. Rein actually bullied tf out of this ana for absolutely no reason. He decided getting ana and spawn camping was more important than the ranked game
its silver sr and the rein didnt look like a silver so im guessing he doesnt care about winning
And after games ppl always Endorse Mercy even if you have 30 k heals and the Mercy has like 2k
at first i thought it was because Ana is incredibly easy to kill when she's solo because of lack of mobility, but it got the point where it seemed like he had a personal vendetta against this player 😅

I'm several minutes in and Mercy has yet to brush their finger over the right click/damage boost button... oh boy this is gonna be a GAME
It's actually slightly tilting to see yellow beam on a full health turret bastion multiple times. So many blue beam opportunities that might have actually changed the outcome of the team fights.

it annoyed me more that they never shot before nading with ana
they start off damage boosting bastion! they don't use it as much as they could, of course, but hey, it's silver. optimal gameplay isn't generally going to be present because people are learning. the best thing we can do is encourage them and give tips :)

This is one of the best game you've spectacted I swear, the Rein - Ana chase was hilarious ahaha
hopefully this player builds more confidence with damage boost! it's scary at first because it really can feel like your team is going to die the second you stop healing them, but as you work on finding specific opportunities to damage boost (fire strikes at spawn doors on defense, Moira orb at spawn on defense, etc) it gets easier and easier, and you begin to feel more comfortable pushing the limits of what you can do.
for example, today, i had a game with a Rammatra who was doing tank things and taking a lot of damage. he was constantly low, and tbh i was stepping on my Moira's toes by healing him a bit too much. but we were struggling to get a foothold so i decided to hard HARD pocket my Ashe unless Ramattra was basically 1 hp. it was hard, even though i love damage boost, because I'm rusty and relearning a lot of things about the game, BUT we ended up winning because i helped Ashe build bob 30% faster than they would have otherwise! Ashe and Bob clutched it at the end, and we wouldn't have been able to win without me making sure Ashe had ult by boosting them.
TLDR i know it's really scary and you don't want your team to die, but working on increasing your damage boost use is SO rewarding. so hopefully this player finds little ways to start sneaking in more damage boost 💖
Man I am addicted to the blue beam. It took a while to break the yellow beam habit, but I had started to default blue beam unless my team started taking damage. And I still struggle with allowing my other support to focus healing the tank sometimes (not that you shouldn't heal the tank as mercy, but you shouldn't be pocketing most of the time). But unfortunately till I can get into high silver-low gold I am trying to support my team with Ana or Moira cause God damn it sucks to rely on your team for damage sometimes.
@@jaradsprings1314 you'd be surprised what you can get away with. I've had two games recently - both in gold 1 - where I did 6.3k and 4.5k. it's up to you what you want to do, obviously, and I think the time of day can affect the average skill and type of player you'll run into. but I think mercy can be successful at any rank. it's just a matter of adapting your play style to that rank. your dps aren't doing much? hard pocket your tank and blue beam them. why invest resources on someone when it isn't paying off? a huge part of being successful with mercy in lower ranks is learning to identify who you need to enable on your team. sometimes it will be a cracked dps. other times it will be your Reinhardt because a damage boosted rein can kill a squishy really fast.

I've had this exact scenario happen to me in quickplay, expect instead of the tank, it was the most bloodthirtsy tiktok Moira in existence. I would ping her, try to fight her, try to slip past, nothing was working. I'd usually go Brig to challenge this, but the other support picked her, so I was kinda SOL lol. We ended up winning, and the enemy team yelled at their moira for not healing lmao
It's often a Moira for sure. I've seen many times in lower ranks. Usually smurfing, etc. Feels so good to win games over them and their garbage . 😂
honestly i dont think their ana was that bad, and i was rooting so hard for them when the rein started to bully them. as a support main, i know the struggle of being singled out and 9 times outta 10 your team couldnt give a rats ass, they just blame you for not healing without realising that supports need help doing their job too.

Has this last night. I was a Moira and was doing well for a round but then i had a brig and sombra duo spawn camp me for half a round or so. My tank was like Moira I could use more heals and I explained what happened. they were just like oh... then when the game was ending(we lost overall) they proceeded to say these supports. We need more heals and they didn't listen. Lol. Like huh? 😂
Dont know whats worse. The Rein going after the Ana again and again or the Ana most time getting killed.. But i loved it and this has to be the best spectating Video until now

do you know why that is? I feel like I get shattered way too often when I shouldn't. granted, I am a feeding Freddy sometimes, so some of that is 100% my fault, but sometimes I get shattered due to interactions like this 😅 so I'm wondering what the strat is to manage it or if it's just one of those things to keep in mind and make extra certain to be outside of shatter range
@@sethescope it's because mercy's hit box is weird during it, it looks like you're flying more horizontal but you still have a vertical hitbox for some reason. That's my best guess

The shatter at 3:28 is legit. As a Mercy main I knew it was going to hit. The reason, is because she super jumped only a fraction of a second before the reins ult hit and it caught her foot’s hitbox lmao. I wish it wasn’t real but here we are😂😂

this is the pain of supports. no peels, no one pays attention to who you're playing, or where you're positioned. i've spent games pretty much just 1v1ing or 1v2ing flankers on ana, moira, and lucio barely scraping by while trying to chase los, or out of range teamates and heal them at the same time. then get hit with the "bro where are the heals?".

Reminded me of the time when I played Lifeweaver on unranked and flanking the Ashe and widow so many times that after half of the match, they both decide to aim for me first. In the next game, I got the widow and the Ashe again but I never think that they are the same person, before I started trolling as Lucio, I already got aimed by the Ashe and the widow, and I changed back to Lifeweaver to chased after them again, the whole both of the unranked game is just Ashe and widow chased after me and me making them annoyed by keep flanking them 😂
Also ps, I always "trolling" in unranked by playing supports other than my main (Mercy, Kiriko, Moira)

Her Mercy movement was pretty good, up until she was Shattered on the ground while in Valkyrie! I'm glad she stayed on Ana to give us this content but her solution to evade Rein was to swap to Moria or Bap. I think her awareness is good for Silver, but as Ana she failed to maneuver properly around the map. SPAWNS have TWO or THREE Doors. Use them! This is more frustrating for me to watch than her lack of Mercy Damage Boosting..
Silver is worse than Bronze. Silver is a clown fiesta deathmatch, where people just do what they want and it occasionally works for them which is how they got to silver in the first place.
