There's so many throwers in ranked games lately. I had two in a row the other day in diamond. As in, legitimately HARD throwing, like going into the enemy team and standing still.
Same, also I got one game in which 2 of my teammates remained afk in the spawn cause one of the other team tell them that he had to win, and they left the other team win haha
a lot of them are like moiras who refuse to heal at all, ive had a moira with 10k damage and 1k healing at the end of my game :/ its so fucking annoying, especially since when i play support my go-to pick whenever my other support isn't getting out enough heals/my team is dying too fast IS moira. i didn't know what to do about it, i just played kiriko and hoped for the best
yes genuinely like one every four games or people who just belong in bronze in my plat games…went down to gold because i dont really know how to win with people just afk or intentionally feeding

Ban them permanently. I dont care what anyone says. People paid money to play this game and pricks like this ruin it. Imagine doing literally any other activity and pulling crap like this. You would be immediately kicked out. Go to a baseball game and just stand in from of people and purposefully block their view for the lols,, you'd be kicked out. Go to a Go cart track and purposefully crash into people, kicked out. But filename reason video games are the one activity in the world where people are allowed to completely ruin it for everyone and there be no consequences.

in seriousness, there is actually incentive to drop even further beyond just bronze 5, in that you can see where exactly in bronze 5 you are now so it is *very* possible for somebody to want to throw to reach what was previously 1 SR
yeah if you just actually try and have decent aim it isn't hard 😭. my best friend has been hardstuck bronze 4 since overwatch 1 came out and he blames the game and overwatch's ranking system and when i try to tell him there has to be some fundamental flaws with how he's playing the game he wants none of it.
I can’t tell you how many I have reported in bronze games over the last month or so who either get pissed and don’t play, or just don’t play deliberately the whole game. They will do a tiny bit of damage and like one kill so that it doesn’t look like they are throwing. But they just sit at spawn and taunt the team. It seemed to happen more after the announcement that blizzard was killing pve. Maybe there is a connection? Anyway it is sooooo frustrating. It’s in ranked.
I simply cannot imagine throwing on purpose in a pvp game. When I was trying to get ranked as Tank and DPS (my absolute worst role), I got thrown into games I knew I didn’t belong in (Gold, Plat, sometimes even Diamond somehow), and I still tried my damndest, even though I’m probably low Bronze on tank and Paper 5 on DPS. I’m sure my teammates were still angry with me for not being at their level of play, but I’m sure they would rather have me actually TRYING to play, as opposed to whatever this Ball was doing.
This hapens all the time in bronze its one of the driving factors why people struggle to get out of bronze every few games u have a troll or someone's clearly smurfing I had a game on my offrole when it was still bronze 5 where it queued us against 3 gms offroling who stomped us the whole game then jumped off the map so wed win and they would stay bronze 5. Once i made it out of bronze 5 i shot to silver in like half a day (Their profiles were all public) or they pick a person to spawn camp with 2 people so they cant play the game (normally sombra lucio) because theirs no punishment for hopping on a smurf and ruining peoples games they do it non stop
Had a game like this yesterday. Lucio and tracer spawn camp me for the entire game while the rest of their team lose the objective (because its 4v3). I just kept coming out of spawn to keep the lucio tracer away from my team and we won the match because of it. I hadn't considered that they actually wanted to lose the game to derank, but that makes a lot of sense.
If this console I know exactly who that wrecking ball is, I fought him about a week ago and he was bragging about being diamond in a silver/gold lobby while jumping off the map and rarely attacking anyone, so this "diamond" was throwing games to get to bronze all while calling the lobby awful and throwing the game. But once again that only depends on if this a console game or not
players like that ball are why trying to rank out of the metals is so frustrating. 2 out of like every 6 games will be just a purposeful throw/"meme" and it's like what do you even do about that? cause if they leave you're just down a player you can't replace and if they stay you may as well be down that player anyway and if YOU leave because it's so frustrating well that's a 15-2 hr ban for you..

This is the first step for a lot of these guys actually getting better. You would have to assume the people sending these in are going to watch these videos and actually watching your game back and knowing you're not as good as you think will actually make some of these people realize what they are doing wrong.

im stuck bronze 5, like really hard stuck. i do believe i dont belong in bronze 5 but im not saying i should be diamond or masters cause thats not it, but i think i could play easier at gold rank than silver rant, the reason for this is that i also believe that bronze i the worst cause you can predict what there going to do one time they run away on 3/4 hp and next they suicide bomb you on 1/10 hp and not grouping when someone is getting dived for instance if i see my support getting dived i wil die before i let them kill my support cause you get healed and keep your support happy and may even gain their favor it just dont make any sense to me in bronze and my i know aim is not it i mean its not horrible (somethimes XD) but im very tactical what mostly helps out but i feel like unpredictable enemies and non tactical teammates is a really bad place for me cause i depend on being tactical and thinking about what im doing😭😭😭
