absolutely. at the beginning you can see his aim - really good tracking. and then how this soldier "misses" and don't shoot the widow and the other enemies on purpose. I am so happy for them they won the game even though they thad this downranker :)

I mean I climbed from gold to Gm in a few seasons on support but on dps I went from gold to diamond in the same span of time with similar hours so I would say support is easier to climb

That soldier is definitely throwing. You can see moments of good gameplay before he remembers to stop moving so he can die and throw.
The soldier was obviously trolling. There is no way a player as bad as he is pretending to be has the awareness to shoot the venom mine as they run to the team fight but never has the awareness to even aim at the widow.

The rare occurrence where a gold player says "I did everything and my DPS was a bot!" and it was true.
There are a ton of bronze players who would be Plat by comparison. Watching people intentionally throw like that makes me wish we could retroactively report someone.
you can. after a game watch the replay. they are still in your recent players and can be reported for GT
No they wouldn't if you're stuck in bronze,you're bronze,it really easy to climb out of bronze,silver and gold

I do it but I'm typically a Tracer who repeatedly dives in to mess with the enemy team and kill them so they make no progress. Can usually get more elims than deaths though

@@pengpingu6326 not if you are doing it right. Stalling fir time is the most important thing. Tracer is the best for it
@@Antonio-ys5zdno. tracer should be having a death p/10 similar to supports, in the less than 5 area. even 6 and 7 is fine. but having more than an 8 per 10 on tracer is horrendous and shows lack of knowledge of cd and survivability
@@isabellleeah no it shows that people depend to highly on survivability. Tracer has the greatest stall potential. Want an easy way to win? Stall. It's that simple. Sometimes you can't play defensively or scared. You have to be brave and give it your all. You are one of the fastest characters so it doesn't matter how many times you respawn

Had a Zen like this in a Comp game ones, I was the other support.
At the end he was 145 damage I think, and 800 something healing.
The enemy support and I sat between 6-8k healing.
And yes, all he did was sitting in front of our spawn and also no, we sadly didn't win.
And he was called out, but got someone had the nerve to defend him, someone from our team at that.
Did you check and see if they were duoed?

8:42 Ain't no way this soldier had the mental capacity to spot and shot the venom mine at a glance but decides to run in straight lines at the Widow that he knows is still there spawn camping him. He's trolling, deranking, or both.

@jasonjeffery9728 ow2 is way past dead unfortunately, we're in the cremation phase. I'm pretty sure he watched this on stream thinking it would be a hacking video but it wasn't because the discord guy couldn't tell. You can't really blame him for that

SpookySlayer here aka mercy/moria. This video is amazing. I laughed so much, even though I was not laughing while playing the game lol. The solider was definitely throwing but I feel like it was from grieving. I think he gave up playing from fusteration. I dont remember if his career profile was silver or gold, but I can definitely confirm he never hit plat or above, so Im not sure why he would derank. Players throwing when they are upset are so common in Gold. Even though we won, he told us that we s**k at the end off the game. Very original. Also I did jump off on purpose because I knew I was going to die anyways and didnt want the enemy to get ult charge.
Would you say the soldier became tilted and then started throwing? Cuz I’ve had plenty games like that… winnable ones too and its frustrating every time 🙄

@KaiDub24 tbh I think our team didn't notice what the solider was doing. I finally noticed at 15:11 when he stood still on defense twice. That's when we got upset in chat how he is throwing the game. I think he got mad after dying so many times in the beginning.

The soldier plays like when my mate and I were playing Counterstrike long ago on a single crappy laptop: one using the keys to move, while the other using the trackpad to aim and fire

That Soldier represents 90% of the players on most of my comp games.
No joke, I had a game last night where the Soldier refused to turn around and help with the flanking Reaper. He had 5 kills by the end of the first round... and 7000 damage _(an average of 1600 damage per kill, mind you)._ Couple that with a Bastion with his headphones on in reverse, and a Winston that constantly flung himself into 1v5s, and what's a guy playing Ana to do when I can't even get out of spawn? I'd love to be able to show a replay code, but the midseason patch last night erased my match history.
I'm confident that by the end of the season, I'll finally make it into Silver 1. _(Note: I started this season at PLAT 3. Summer is the single worst time to play competitive.)_

I played this game for years now and NEVER saw someone dying more than 20 times in one match

But i feel for this mercy, this is generally how my games go as well and its hard to rank up that im just accepting im staying in gold / plat area (highest is plat 3). It sucks that theres so many people like this soldier in gold lobbies

The soldier accusing another player, that obviously isn’t cheating, of cheating is certainly just a way for them to seem like a legitimate bad player. He pretty good at pretending until you spectate him and realize there is no possible way to be that bad at that rank without intentionally throwing

I am silver 4 dps currently with my peak being gold 4, bronze 4 support currently with my peak being silver 2, and unranked on tank. I main widow & bastion. Never before in the some 400 hours of playtime I have in this game have I seen a player so undeserving of even having this game installed. I feel quite qualified to speak on the topic of shit players as I am indeed one. Watching a total bot playing in a rank that I have been denied for 2 seasons now is quite actually infuriating

These soldier plays are really top 500 tier plays. What he is doing is distracting the enemy team for a moment so that his team can pump heals into him for an easy win
Soldier got confused and thought he was a psycho from Borderlands.
*Legit advice for the soldier:*
1) Prioritise snipers and supports above anything else. Unless you have a juicy target and don't see any snipers, always hit support first.
2) Position near walls so that you can take cover when you are getting hit. Don't ever rely on healing alone.
3) Don't be affraid to shoot them. You are running too much. If it breathes, shoot it! Don't worry about your accuracy. If you aren't shooting, you aren't getting value.
4) Use healing field more.
5) use rocket to confirm kills instead of to initiate a fight. Get them to about half health and then hit them with a rocket to confirm the kill.
Multiple things are going through my head, it seems like he either has given up or is completely throwing, it looks like he is trying to one death from Widow that actually looks like a good suspicious headshot to report them but also he isn’t trying to push the cart at all so it looks like he is one of those that wants to game to go on longer. It could also be a mix of both. Although I feel that sometimes because when I get those games where it’s one death after the other but my teammates aren’t even getting touched it drags me down but I don’t think I have had as little mouse activity as that soldier.
Emongg predicting the Soldier ult for like half the match before it was used killed me holy shit
😭the soldier is a perfect example of my DPS when I play support/tank because they either don't know how to use a character or know how to use them but are dead the entire time or don't even bother ulting the entire game

Gold was my hardest rank to climb out of by far im in diamond and started silver dps. Gold is crazy because you have a mix of players who have good mechanics and you get absolute bots who cant move without hitting a wall. The diversity of players at that rank makes it tuff to carry and get value.
I honestly don’t know if the solider was hard memeing or if he truly didn’t know. It was one of those games where everyone is bad, but the enemy team is somehow worse?😂 and honestly Tacosunday is a legend for never swapping off widow💀
This video is at the very least an amazing argument for why you should be strafing smartly.
This whole match was a 4v5 with that soldier on their team. There definitely is a flood of dps players vs the support rank drought if this is a gold lobby.
