i would definitely go step by step on my butt if i had to. once i had to hike up a lot of steep steep steps but when it came to go back down i was petrified. no railing. a man actually took my hand and walked backwards in front of me down to the bottom. can you imagine someone walking backwards and supporting your hand (with body attached)???? it was unbelievable and i was so thankful. he had no fear of falling or hid it well.
Can't imagine the length to which China went trying to protect itself from invaders for 2000 years! Picturing soldiers standing guard there with bow and arrow 😢
Good video! There's so much interests about China nowadays around the world, especially from the West. Here's an idea, how about making some HOW TO videos for tourists who want to visit China: Apply Visa to China, New Visa rules, Get their phones working in China, Popular APPs to use in China: Translator, Maps, Booking hotel, Trains, Restaurants, in China. I think there would be a big demand for it.

Thanks a lot Lian. You showed us The real experience. I love your style and I 'd like to know more about you and your family. I'd love spanish subtitles. Greetings from Venezuela. Lotta love.
!!!!!!??????!!!!! Wait theres a phobia of staircases!!!!!!!??? mind completely blown!!!! Also well done for facing and climbing up and down your fear!!!!
I'm not sure, I was kind of exaggerating about having a phobia, but I am pretty scared of them, I always imagine that I'll fall down them and get badly injured :,(
😄 I was going to say the same. People need to be reminded it is an ancient fortification not an amusement park, even through it has gone through many repair and maintenance to make it more doable for typical tourists, it was built for military function purpose in ancient time.
Any vlogs with my friends will have me speaking more Mandarin, I know next week's vlog will have a short section where I speak to a store worker in Mandarin, maybe I should come up with some more video ideas involving me speaking Mandarin :)
Your dad in great physical shape! No phobia in heights too! I think the wall steps are much steeper than what the camera portrays...
Yeah I think he's more fit than I am hahaha
Thank you for showing your true emotion! So genuine, real and CUTE!!!🎉🎉🎉

I've seen this packed with tourists more often than not. Looks like you picked a good day. Great weather too.

Welcome to Peking.❤
Take your fear by the horn, girl. Go hike down Wulong Karst, or better still, walk on the glass bridge in Zhangjiajie.

你父亲体力真好!爬山毫无压力。祝你们在中国生活旅行快乐!
😍😍😍
Jesus u never climbed a mountain before? this is way better than mountain climbing
I've climbed mountains (not very steep ones) but since I'm very clumsy, I get all freaked out about possibly tumbling down the stairs
nothing good to say in the video ?
Then why travel all the way to China ?
I live here...
Are you afraid of hight?
I'm not really afraid of heights, more so of stairs (I feel like I might slip or trip and fall down them hahah)
Nice, I went to the wall in 2008.
