How did you learn Chinese? Any tips for an absolute beginner?

I learned the basics in an online class, and then I moved to China, where I improved really quickly because I had to speak Chinese every day. I guess some tips would be; in the beginning do be afraid to speak slowly and over-enunciate, it will help you pronounce your words better once you get more confident. Building an interest in Chinese media (movies, animation, tv shows, music, comics, etc.) will help you a lot, and as you get better you can try reading/watching things without translation. The easiest one to start with are comics/manhua (though not the historical or fantasy ones). Also make sure you're working on all 4 aspects of the language: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Also the best way to learn characters is to write them repeatedly, when I would study vocabulary, I would write the character down 10-20 times in my notebook, and each time I write the character I would say it out loud. I think that's all the tips I can think of haha, thanks for watching my video 🫶
