Qatar A350-1000 Snowstorm Departure/Towing in Quebec City (YQB)

- Here is more than an hour and 30 minutes long towing of Qatar Airbus A350 during a snowstorm in Quebec City. This flight diverted the day before it was flying between Doha and New York for a medical reason and then was grounded for mechanical reasons. Here we can see it departing with more than 30 hours of delay with the passengers back to JFK airport. Thank you guys for watching and I hope you enjoyed the video :)
Voici un remorquage de plus d'un heure et trente minutes d'un Airbus A350 de Qatar à YQB pendant une tempete de neige. L'appareil a fait diversion la journée précédente en raison d'un passager en détresse et est ensuite rester au sol en raison d'un probleme mécanique. Voici également son départ vers JFK avec les passagers à bord avec plus de 30 heures de retard. Merci à tous d'avoir regardé et j'espere que vous avez aimé la vidéo :)

Taking off in -20 degrees and landing in +50 what an amazing plane.
Forgot about - 50 in the cruising altitude
@@VistaApple Actually it can reach below -80C during winter. Had a flight on A340-600 a few years back during winter and that was the temperature in Celcious, -82 degrees. :)

WOW!!! What an AMAZING sound! I didn't expect that. Sounded like the pilots slowly increased the thrust and then BAM they go full throttle!

There is no “ Bam full throttle”
on these high by pass engines. Acceleration or spool up is always “calculated” and
gentle.These modern day raw
power marvels require gentle
handling ( thrust lever movements). A practice Flight
Crew and Maintenance
personnel are well aware of.
They usually give it 40-50 % "throttle" first to see if the engines are stable, then they increase the thrust to "N1" (which is calculated, but not full power to reduce wear on the engines for longer engine life). N1 depends on runway surface, weather conditions, and so on and can range anywhere from 87 ish % to 95 ish %.
@@bilalniaz7702 If you were paying attention to the sounds, this particular takeoff was in fact “Bam full throttle” Or at the very least close to it, since Trent XWB doesn’t roar at TOGA. You can briefly hear them hold the thrust at 80-90% where it roars loudly, then they advanced the levers forward from FLEX which I assume is TOGA and you hear the engines pitch up even higher, disappearing the roar.
@@MrBestvirginia listen to this particular takeoff though. Derated takeoff (85-95) would have been if the engines continued roaring as they were, but right before the A350 disappears from the frame, you can hear the engines increasing thirst even more, the roar disappears. I assume they moved the levers from FLEX to TOGA, since the Trent XWB especially the A350-1000 variant does not roar at max thrust.
